Chapter 9 - PRESENCE AND ABSENCE: THE BEGINNING AND THE END OF EVERYTHING

Please remember that this is a completely amateur series.

TIER 25: PERFECTION

As Vahura barely perceives his surroundings, he senses Jamz's body energy suddenly bursting forth. But not just Jamz's, he begins to sense Monfel's, and even the life energy of every Baz in the Holy Void. He feels cleansed of pain, relaxed... He begins to speak, not aloud, but entirely to himself. "Before... Even when I talked about perfection, I didn't believe it existed. Every being, every non-being... had at least one weakness, in my opinion. But what I feel now is like a completely different mindset, a different soul... Like someone else entirely... I feel perfect. Flawless... As if I could defeat everyone with a single flick of my finger... But... I don't want to..." Vahura, after a moment of thought, says, "Jamz, Monfel, Edy... I feel everyone needs me. The Eqia of Vision merges with my Tes... I see the future. The past, the present... Almost everything... I see the perfection. Golden ratio... A perfect spiral... A vortex, a spiral with no end. It keeps going. It is infinite... And... I see it...! TO IT'S VERY END!" Vahura's vision opens, his body evolves into a perfect state, becomes an Evor's body, his blue body turns pure white, gains yellow eyes, for a few seconds a pure white light fills the entire space... Larrdanorr, doesn't know where to look, suddenly turns around to see what is happening. Jamz, unconscious, Monfel on the verge of death, are looking at Vahura. "I... AM... THE PERFECTION!" Vahura shouts. The light eventually fades, Vahura comes to Jamz's side and with a single touch heals all the wounds on Jamz's body, takes Monfel to Jamz's side and attacks Larrdanorr. While Larrdanorr tries to understand what is happening, he realizes he is next to Vahura and blocks Vahura's punch, and the battle between the two begins. At that moment, Jamz wakes up and calls out Monfel. Monfel says, "Don't worry, we can't lose this anymore. Your friend has lost his mind and is now fighting Larrdanorr head-to-head... Or perhaps we can say he's regained his mind..." he says, turning to Jamz. "Then I make my last wish..." he says, smiling. (...)

TIER 26: ENERGY

Monfel's color fades, his body begins to turn to dust. Although Jamz doesn't react, the storm of emotions he feels is very mixed. It can't be called sadness, nor anger... "As my last wish, I ask you to awaken Obisad completely... As you see, even Vahura, who calls himself perfect, couldn't heal the absence of Larrdanorr... But you can..." Monfel continues. Jamz restores Obisad to its former state and it disappears. Jamz turns to Monfel and says, "It was an honor to fight alongside you... Monfel." In his final moments, before his body separates from both of his Tes, Monfel says, "Give the Tes to Vahura, Jamz. By the way... the name of the Temseral of Grudge was... Geudzei... Farewell..." Monfel, the Embodiment of Justice and Judgement, dies. On Jamz's hands... Vahura arrives, takes the Tes of Will and Grudge and Jamz, and they begin to flee. Looking at Jamz, he says, "Larrdanorr splitting the Holy Void and feeding on nothingness outside of the Holy Void!" Jamz is still unconscious. Conscious but choked with thoughts… In a low voice, Jamz asks, lifelessly, "Can you hold Larrdanorr a little longer?" Vahura hesitates at first, but after a while, he agrees, releases Jamz, says, "I trust you!" and continues his fight with Larrdanorr, who is pursuing them… Jamz thinks about what to do, for quite a while… "I am hopeless... Right, Obisad?" he says before giving up completely... Or he thought. He hears a familiar voice… A voiceless voice, as if inside his head… "Someone from the depths of Hell, who has turned to the path of the devil and forgotten my path… You have a third and final chance. You know who you are. I, who am where the rules don't apply, command you, Jamz Dereleaous…" Jamz loses consciousness and finds himself in a very familiar, small, black room… A room with two doors, containing two worn chairs and a table, and an old lightbulb hanging from the ceiling… Jamz sits in a chair. From the opposite door, the person the voice mentioned appears. Grotell. Temseral of Blood enters the room, just like the first time, to speak with Jamz. This time, with a voice of a parent... "It's been a long time, Jamz. I've come all the way from the depths of hell to see how big you've grown..." he says. (...)

TIER 27: FATE

Grotell sits down in the chair opposite Jamz and begins the conversation. "Now... the Creator who spoke to you just now. Some call Him 'The Guardian', some 'The Almighty', some 'The Judge'... and some call Him... 'God'. He has tons of names, but I prefer to call Him God. Anyway... since you know of God's existence, you must also know of Heaven and Hell. I'll tell you everything, Jamz... God created four places: the Holy Void, Heaven, Hell, and the Holy Nothingness. Initially, only nothingness existed, and its beings lived happily, then God created the Baz. Actually, we, the beings of the Holy Void, could roam freely in the Holy Nothingness. But a group from nothingness convinced everyone and attacked the Baz. God first created the void and placed all the Baz in the void. Then He created Hell; He imprisoned everyone who disrespected and betrayed Him with His jails of flame. Then He created Heaven... He rewarded everyone who didn't give up on him there. Larrdanorr, who started all the chaos. What happened to him? He was still in the void. He had to watch everyone he was with burn, while everyone who opposed him was at ease. This was his punishment... That's why he wanted revenge. After Fumetsu absorbed the void, he and the minions he tore away from himself wanted to conquer the void. Just like in the beginning... And they were succeeding. But there was something much, much bigger waiting for Larrdanorr... And that was you. God chooses certain beings from each Baz and gives them 3 chances to bring justice. Each chosen one is sent to Hell when they lose themselves and are punished until they mend their ways. The one who completes their task and dies enters Heaven. You will be one of them. This is my last chance, Jamz... Let's go to Heaven together, what do you say?" Grotell concludes the conversation, extending his hand. (...)

TIER 28: REBIRTH

Jamz uses his last wish, wishing to regain the Tes of Blood with the same power as when he last left it... In Jamz's hand, the Blood Tes appears as a cleaver, its armor and color turning crimson, and its blood-red eyes returning. Vahura and Larrdanorr cease fighting and look towards Jamz. Jamz creates a neutron star in his left hand. "Thanks for accepting me as myself, Obisad, Grotell... God." Jamz, with Obisad in one hand and the Blood Cleaver in the other, is gliding towards Larrdanorr. "Larrdanorr!" Jamz exclaims. But it is Grotell speaking. "Grotell, how could I forget you? God's most beloved servant." says Larrdanorr. Jamz then says, "Grotell, let's finish this now..." taking control. Then he turns to Vahura, "Vahura, I will finish this and my existence will be erased. I don't want you to die here. The reason I resurrected you was because you possess a Tes and you attack with Energy, not Soul. You would have been very useful this way. But the reason I told you to leave is... I truly love you as my race. As a mortal, a human. More importantly, a brother. You can go and start a brand new life, Vahura..." Vahura's expression changes from excited to see the old Lord of Blood, to more of a serious one. As Vahura slowly approaches Jamz, he says, "When I reached perfection, I already understood all your plans. Despite that, I stayed. Even though I'm experiencing my emotions at their peak right now, why am I not crying for Edy and Monfel? Because Edy's plan was to die, and Monfel's was to turn you into a Cleavet of Justice. They both achieved their desires... But what about me? I always thought all I wanted was to fight. But now I understand what I want..." Vahura stands beside Jamz, looks towards Larrdanorr, and says to Jamz, "I want to fight to the death alongside my brother. Let's put an end to this together, Jamz!" "So that's it. Then we're in this together, brother!" says Jamz, and they begin to attack. (...)

TIER 29: ABSENCE

While Jamz, using Obisad, and Grotell attempt to hurt Larrdanorr in every way, Vahura's spiral helps Jamz speed up. After a while, Larrdanorr begins to move towards a specific point, attempting to escape. Vahura and Jamz try to stop him, but even this seems difficult. Passing through all the Baz, Larrdanorr eventually reaches the rift that leads into the void and stops. Jamz and Vahura realize that Larrdanorr's escape plan isn't a real escape plan. They stop approaching, but don't lower their guard. Larrdanorr plants itself in the void like a plant. The dark rift that nourishes Larrdanorr grows and grows with it, reaching ten times its original size. The rift grows and merges with Larrdanorr's body, evolving into a giant chasm. Larrdanorr speaks, once again with no voice. "Now all nothingness is in my hands... What can you do?" it says. Both Jamz and Vahura begin to worry... Just thinking about the power of nothingness is enough to give them a headache. Vahura asks, "Is there anything we can do, Jamz?" Jamz asks Grotell the same question. Grotell replies, "The power of nothingness is unlike any Tes or Eqia you've seen before. Your head hurts, doesn't it, Jamz? Even that is an effect of nothingness. As for your problem... Someone who absorbs the power of nothingness, especially if it's the devil itself... becomes unstoppable." "Hey, Jamz. Do you remember? There was a Tes called the Tes of Nothingness in the Werteron council. Actually, Granq created the Infinity Tes himself and made a deal with the devil. The Tes of Nothingness was a minion of Larrdanorr. That's why it was so difficult to control. The Tes of Death, Time, Emotion, Nature, Light, and Space were once members of the Jilid Council, but Granq killed them all and created the Tes of Infinity... In fact, each Tes within the Tes of Infinity was a J-Willed Tes... Why do you think no council member could properly use their own Tes...?" he continues... "So, Jamz? What's on your mind?" Vahura interjects. "Vahura… You would sacrifice yourself for me, wouldn't you?" Jamz asks. Vahura replies without hesitation, "There's nothing I wouldn't do for the one I've dedicated myself to. I'm with you, brother." Jamz replies, "I want you to do the opposite, Vahura. Retreat and survive. Right now, I can feel the aura of our Baz. I definitely have a plan that will work. Go and live your life." Jamz points to a Baz with Obisad. Vahura says, "Never. I have no other purpose in life. By doing this, you would be doing me the greatest harm, Jamz." Jamz looks at Vahura with horror and interrupts, "Do you think you have a choice, you weak Kort…? Remember? You're an inferior race. You are not Evor anymore... Do you know why I brought you back to life? Because I wanted to use you. Everyone here was using Eqia, and you were using Tes. You had a great advantage… I used your respect for me to bring you this far… For me, you were just a pile of filth, Kort. Go away and don't pollute my vision." he says. Vahura just stares at Jamz. But eventually he speaks and says, "Show me the way, Jamz." He maintains his expression. Jamz's left hand flashes blue, flashes red. Vahura disappears... "It seems like a difficult decision for you, Jamz." says Grotell. Jamz replies, "Strong decisions are made by strong wills, Furoy. Even if it hurts me bad, I can't let the man I call brother to experience a miserable death..." Hearing the name Furoy, Grotell says, "It feels like it's been a long time, huh? So what is this plan that will definitely work?" "Furoy, do you know? After you died the second time, Fumetsu came back and absorbed all the energy of the Holy Void. I was thinking... If God created the void to save us from the pain of nothingness... Doesn't that mean this void has triumphed over nothingness?" says Jamz. Grotell says, "If we absorb the Holy Void with our current power..." but pauses and says, "I trust you, Jamz. Let's do it!" Larrdanorr becomes completely one with nothingness and says, "You beings... How did you say it...? That's right. 'What are your final words?'" he says. (...)

TIER 30: HEAVEN

Jamz lifts Obisad and Furoy into the air and begins to glow. The light of the Holy Void has once again turned to darkness. Both Obisad and Furoy become one with Jamz. Jamz's body, eyes, hair, even his armor, are covered in the enchanting colors of the Holy Void. Unlike Fumetsu, Jamz has not grown or changed forms. Larrdanorr, taking advantage of the fact that the barrier preventing him from merging with the Holy Nothingness has been removed, seizes all of the Holy Nothingness and becomes the Holy Nothingness itself. "This is your end... You being! What will you do now?" it says. Jamz replies, "What I want... Larrdanorr." "That was your name, wasn't it? Even if the price of absorbing the Holy Void is death, this power does not leave the absorber unless forced to or willing to let go. And what is this power? Simple. Everything. That's why my swords disappeared. Because I don't need them... Since the Void is formed according to existence, its energy is entirely within the scope of existence. Now I understand why Fumetsu couldn't win... No one beat him, he beat himself... Larrdanorr, there's no chance of winning, and I don't want to fight anymore. I can send you to Hell with a single thought. Give up and end the fight. You will go to Hell either way. Your choice." Jamz continues. "NONSENSE! I MANAGED TO CROSS THAT VOID ALONE! YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING TO ME!" Larrdanorr shouts but this time, Jamz hears its voice. Jamz creates a sword, again the color of the Holy Void. Neither Obisad, nor Furoy. He creates the copper sword he made with his own hands in his village and says, "So be it." Jamz swings the sword. The sword cuts not only Larrdanorr, but existence, non-existence, even the unthinkable beyond nothingness. Anything, Everything, Nothing... Larrdanorr, because of the existence within the cut, feels an emotion to its core for the first time in his last moments and says to himself, "God, forgive me..." Jamz slowly moves towards the Holy Nothingness. He has died from the energy discharge, but the power of the Holy Void keeps him alive. He stands opposite Heaven and Hell. Two spheres stacked on top of each other; Heaven on top, Hell on the bottom. "Furoy... I wonder why you chose me... I'll see you there... And ask you myself..." he says. As the color of the Holy Void returns; Jamz vanishes to his very core... (...?)
