Chapter 2

Beginning of the Scenarios

15 March 20XX

The moment the fight began… it ended.

Siddharth moved with unnatural ease.

Before anyone could react, he countered every attack.

One of the high schoolers rushed toward him—

THUD!

Siddharth kicked him so hard that the boy stumbled back, his cheeks turning red instantly.

Another boy, the one who had grabbed Siddharth's neck earlier, charged at him again.

This time—

BAM!

Siddharth's fist landed straight on his face with overwhelming force.

Within seconds, all five of them were on the ground.

Silence filled the street.

The same boys who were acting like kings just moments ago… were now trembling.

"S-sorry…!"

They apologized repeatedly—both to Siddharth and the middle school boy.

And then—

They ran away.

Without looking back.

The middle school boy stood there, completely stunned.

His eyes were shining with admiration.

"Brother… how can I become like you?" he asked.

Siddharth scratched his head slightly.

"Honestly… I don't know myself," he said with a small laugh.

"Just believe in yourself. Even I'm confused how I defeated them so easily."

The boy looked even more confused.

Siddharth smiled and said,

"Forget that for now. First, tell me your name."

"Myself… Alakh Sharma," the boy replied.

"That's a nice name," Siddharth said.

Then his expression turned serious.

"Why were they bullying you?"

Alakh hesitated, then spoke softly,

"Because I'm weak… and I can't answer properly. My communication is bad. When I try to act like others, they make fun of me… and then they bully me."

He looked down.

"I thought they were cool… I thought everyone was their friend. I never thought trying to become like others would put me in this situation…"

Siddharth listened quietly.

Then he spoke—

"Never try to become like others. Just be yourself."

He continued,

"And don't regret your past. Focus on the present and accept everything. Once you accept yourself, people will start accepting you too."

Alakh slowly nodded.

Those words stayed with him.

After that, Siddharth left for his home.

At home, everything felt normal.

Study. Dinner. Routine.

But his mind was not at peace.

The system…

It kept bothering him.

That night, just as he was about to sleep—

A familiar window appeared.

[Good night, Sir.]

Siddharth instantly sat up.

"Wait… system. First, tell me—what should I call you?"

[You may simply call me 'System'. I will appear.]

"Oh… okay."

Then the system spoke again.

[The boy you helped was impressed by you.]

Siddharth frowned slightly.

"Who are you… exactly?"

[I am your assisting partner.]

"Hmm…"

Siddharth hesitated, then asked excitedly,

"Can you give me powers like Solo Leveling or Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint?"

[Request denied.]

"Eh…?"

[However, when you do good deeds or help others, you will receive pills. These pills can be stored in your inventory.]

[Some pills give permanent effects. Others give temporary effects.]

Siddharth's eyes widened.

"Who controls you?"

There was a brief pause.

Then—

[One day… you will meet me.]

"…What?"

Siddharth was confused, but he decided to let it go for now.

Then suddenly—

A new notification appeared.

[Daily Reward Received.]

In front of him appeared a green-colored pill.

[Effect: All stats increased by 5% permanently.]

Siddharth didn't hesitate.

He consumed it.

A strange energy flowed through his body.

Then the system added—

[If you are ever unable to act, you may allow me to take control of your body.]

Siddharth stayed silent.

Things were getting serious.

Next Morning

Siddharth got ready and went to school.

During lunch break, he sat beside Kriti.

"I need to tell you something," he said.

"What?" she asked.

"I… got a system."

Kriti looked at him and sighed.

"Stop thinking you're the hero of a novel or something."

"No, I'm serious," Siddharth said.

Then he explained everything.

Kriti listened… but she still didn't believe him.

"Don't pressure yourself too much," she said softly.

"Just focus on yourself… my love."

Siddharth looked at her.

Then he called—

"System."

A screen appeared in front of him.

"Show this to her."

The screen became visible to Kriti as well.

For a moment—

She froze.

Then her eyes widened with excitement.

"Woaah… it's real?!"

"Yeah," Siddharth smiled.

She leaned closer.

"What can this system do?"

"It can… save me."

Kriti smiled.

"Good. Because you always put yourself in trouble."

Both of them laughed.

And just like that—

The day ended.

But deep down…

Something much bigger had already begun.
