Chapter 59: Do You Even Understand the Value of an LSP?

.....

Just then...!

A figure slid into the seat directly across from Shizuka Hiratsuka.

Shizuka blinked in surprise, but before she could utter a word, the person across from her took the initiative.

"Hello. Let me introduce myself," Seito said with a perfectly straight face. "I'm Seito. I live alone, I own one apartment, and I have over nine million in savings. I don't have a car yet, but I find your profile quite satisfactory. What do you think of me?"

He delivered the introduction with such clinical precision that it actually sounded like a legitimate marriage interview.

"Kid... what exactly are you doing?" Shizuka stared at him with her trademark dead-fish eyes, her voice low and dangerous.

"As you can see, I'm your next blind date," Seito answered earnestly.

"Heh." Shizuka let out a dry laugh and cracked her knuckles. "Is your skin itching for a bruise? Are you really making fun of me right now?"

"How could I?" Seito's expression remained sincere. "Think about it. If you marry me, you can manage all the household finances. I don't ask for much—you just need to give me two children."

Shizuka: "..."

Two children?! What is this brat thinking?!

Shizuka was about to explode when she launched a lightning-fast punch toward his face. Seito's eyes narrowed as he casually raised a hand, catching her fist mid-air.

"Kid, don't you know you should respect your elders—and your teachers?" Shizuka snapped, though she was secretly surprised he had blocked her so easily.

"Alright, alright, that's enough."

Haruno Yukinoshita walked over with a playful smile, carrying a tray with three drinks. At her intervention, Seito and Shizuka both let go.

Seito picked up a drink and took a slow, leisurely sip. "Seriously, Shizuka-sensei, your blind dates keep failing. Why can't you just wait for me to turn eighteen?"

"Wait for you?" Shizuka sighed, leaning back and lighting another cigarette. "I'm practically pushing thirty."

Such was the tragedy of the beautiful, over-qualified, yet perpetually single woman.

"That's exactly why you should wait for me," Seito grinned. "I'm seventeen this year, eighteen next. You wait one year, and we can go straight to the registry office to get our marriage license. Easy, right?"

"You little..." Shizuka couldn't help but laugh.

She took a long drag of her cigarette and picked up her drink. "I heard from Chabashira-sensei that you told her you planned on marrying both of us?"

"Oh, it's not just two," Haruno cut in, hugging Seito's arm playfully. "He's a self-proclaimed LSP (Lecherous Person). He wants to marry every beautiful girl he meets."

"Isn't that just common sense?" Seito asked, looking genuinely confused. "Do you even understand the value of an LSP? Why are we called that? Because our hearts are large enough to appreciate beauty in all its forms!"

He took another sip of his drink. "If you only like one person, it's called being a 'Simp' or being 'Devoted.' But an LSP? An LSP is a connoisseur of beauty! I feel great being one."

Shizuka blew out a cloud of smoke and looked at him. "If you're still talking like this when you're eighteen... maybe I'll give you a chance."

She figured her blind dates weren't going anywhere anyway. A teacher-student romance? She didn't particularly care about the scandal. It wasn't easy to find someone who genuinely liked her "gutsy" personality, and outside of school hours, she found Seito's company quite refreshing.

"It's a deal~" Seito flashed a row of brilliant white teeth.

"By the way, Shizuka-chan, how many dates has this been?" Haruno asked.

"I've lost count." Shizuka stubbed out her cigarette.

"Tsk, tsk. Those men have no taste," Seito remarked. If they couldn't see how charming Shizuka was, what were they even looking for?

However, looking out the restaurant window, Seito felt a brief pang of nostalgia for his previous life. A corporate slave, single, burdened by a mortgage... he had literally worked himself to death. In this life, he vowed to live for his own desires. Shizuka was currently in a similar rut, though without the crushing financial pressure.

"I didn't realize you were such a smooth talker," Shizuka said, a genuine, beautiful smile gracing her lips.

"I've always been a smooth talker; Sensei just hasn't been paying attention," Seito shrugged.

"So, why are you two out together?" Shizuka asked curiously.

"Us?" Haruno giggled. She pulled two property deeds from her bag with her left hand while tightening her grip on Seito's arm with her right. "We just went apartment hunting. We have to plan for our future nest, after all."

"Exactly!" Seito played along, casually draping an arm around Haruno's shoulders. "And tonight, Haruno-nee is going to give me some... private tutoring."

Haruno: "???"

Her smile froze. Haruno realized she had underestimated the "brat." She had tried to tease him, but Seito had dragged her right into the pit with him. Despite being younger, his ability to counter-troll was top-tier.

Shizuka rolled her eyes, watching their theatrics.

"Well, if that's all, I'm heading out. I promised to meet Sae (Chabashira) in the game,"

Shizuka said, checking her watch.

"We should head back too," Seito nodded.

He had planted the seed. All he had to do was wait a year to "claim" Shizuka.

The trio parted ways. On the walk back, Seito and Haruno continued their playful banter while Seito coordinated with the moving and cleaning companies. By the time they reached the apartment, everything was set.

Inside, they found Kirukiru Amou and Yukino still chatting with Kanade.

"You're back," Kirukiru said, standing up and walking toward Seito. "Did you get the units?"

"Yeah." Seito nodded. "Let me go tell Blank."

He headed into his bedroom and shut the door. Sora and Shiro were sat on his bed, mid-game. Seito pulled out the deed.

"Sora, the paperwork is done. I've hired movers and cleaners. Just give them your old keys, and they'll bring your rigs and valuables over."

"Thanks." Sora took the deed and handed Seito a debit card. "There's a million in here. The password is Shiro's birthday."

Seito took the card, not even mentioning the extra 30,000 he had paid out of pocket. He lay down on the bed and pulled his gaming helmet toward him.

"There's still time before lunch. I'm going to log in and finalize some quests."
