Chapter 82: The Level 100 Boss—The Yeti King Appears!

Floor 17 was a permafrost wasteland shared by two warring factions: the Snow Maidens and the Yetis. While the Snow Maidens were friendly NPCs, the Yetis were the natural enemies of all players.
But it was the reward that caught Seito's eye.
"An Elder rank?" Seito rubbed his chin. This was his first time seeing a "Status" reward. In a game like God's Domain, a title within a powerful NPC tribe was likely a gateway to unique skills, secret areas, or high-tier merchant prices. Its value was astronomical.
He glanced at Maple. As expected of the "Goddess of Luck"—even a random quest she stumbled upon carried a hidden, top-tier legacy.
"Add me to your party. We'll knock this out together."
"Got it!" Maple sent the invite instantly, and the duo ventured into the wilderness.
The cold was biting, with thick snowflakes swirling in the wind. Fortunately, their Executive Greatcoats provided significant elemental resistance, keeping the freezing debuff at bay. Along the way, Seito efficiently cleared every Yeti patrol they encountered. His Spatial Dragon Tachi hummed, triggering "Spatial Deprivation" with almost every kill, stacking his speed stat by increments of 10 or 20.
If I spend the whole night grinding here, my speed will reach a terrifying new level, Seito thought. I just need to find a high-density spawn point.
After trekking for a while, they stopped to rest behind a massive snowbank. Seito checked Maple's stats. "You guys leveled up fast today."
Maple was Level 29, while Sora and Shiro had already hit Level 30. Most of the other Executives were hovering around the same range.
"It's all thanks to Sally," Maple explained.
"She found a monster respawn point and we used a 'mob-clustering' strategy to farm exp. That's why we jumped so much in one day."
Seito nodded. Farming a high-density spawn with a coordinated team made a 24-hour sprint to Level 30 perfectly logical. After a quick break, they resumed their march. Ten minutes later, they reached the Yeti Stronghold.
The Yetis were grotesque creatures—two heads, four arms, and mouths filled with jagged, insect-like teeth. There were hundreds of them prowling the camp.
"There's going to be a Boss here," Seito whispered, staying low. If the Snow Maidens had a Queen, the Yetis certainly had a King.
"We have to be careful," Maple whispered back.
Seito paused, a thought occurring to him. "When you got the quest from the Snow Maidens, did you see the Queen's level?"
"No," Maple shook her head. "I got the quest from the Third Elder. I didn't see the Queen, but the Elder was Level 90."
Seito: "..."
If an Elder was Level 90, the Queen was almost certainly Level 100. By extension, the Yeti King would be at that same peak. This quest was a massive trap. If the Queen couldn't rescue her own daughter, it meant the Yeti King was either stronger or had a massive home-field advantage.
"Good thing it's us doing this," Seito muttered. Any other party would be wiped out in seconds. But he saw an opportunity.
"I'll handle the small fry. When the Boss shows up, let him attack you directly. Use him to farm your Defense stat with 'Destruction Growth.'"
"Understood!" Maple beamed. A Level 100 World Boss was a rare opportunity; even Dungeon Bosses weren't this strong.
"ROAR!"
The Yetis spotted them. Their eyes glowed with predatory hunger. To them, a human was nothing more than a fresh meal delivered to their doorstep.
Seito watched them coldly before vanishing in a blur. He reappeared in the center of the mob.
"Spatial Storm!"
BOOM!
A violent vortex of spatial energy erupted from Seito, acting like a miniature domain of destruction. The fabric of space trembled as the Yetis were shredded instantly. Blood sprayed across the white snow, and within seconds, the clearing was littered with corpses.
CRASH!!!
"HUMANS!!!"
A deafening roar shook the earth, making the ground beneath their feet tremble. A monstrosity twenty meters tall emerged from the blizzards. It had three heads and six massive arms, each step cracking the frozen earth.

The duo's pupils dilated. Ten million HP. This was going to be a battle of attrition.
"Insects! You dare desecrate the Yeti domain?!" the King roared, his eyes burning like twin furnaces.
Seito's expression turned dead serious as he drew his Dragon Tachi. "Blessing of the Gale!"
A streak of light swirled around him, and Maple felt her heavy armor become light as a feather. She stepped in front of Seito, planting her Great Shield firmly into the ice.
"Maple, I'll test his attack power first. Stay sharp!"
"Ready!"
