Shiro's aura had been so intense they hadn't even had time to react. Without Seito's intervention, they would have been blown away like autumn leaves. They all nodded in agreement, their eyes turning back to Shiro.
They watched in awe as Shiro's body began to shed its old form. Fresh red blood was purged from her body, replaced by something entirely new. Sora watched with visible anxiety.
"Is she going to be okay?" he asked.
She was his sister, after all. Seeing her in such a state was agonizing.
"Don't worry," Seito said, placing a steadying hand on his shoulder. "Ascending to godhood requires replacing your flesh, blood, and bones entirely. Look at Shiro's face—she's completely expressionless. That's a sign she's doing fine."
"That's a relief," Sora let out a long, shaky breath.
Once the blood was replaced, Shiro's body began to bloom with golden light, followed by the reshaping of her bones and skin. All the impurities within her body were slowly expelled.
As Shiro's aura and appearance began to shift, Sally looked on with undisguised envy.
"I remember the Empress saying that ascending to godhood makes you even more beautiful. I didn't think the change would be this dramatic."
The other girls nodded in fervent agreement.
Sora stood there, utterly dumbfounded. Are their priorities messed up? Shouldn't they be focusing on the fact that her aura is getting stronger by the second? Why are they talking about skin and appearances? He couldn't wrap his head around their thought process.

"Good idea!" Seito nodded.
It was time to open his own Divine Kingdom and Pantheon!
