A graceful and luxurious mansion stood as a grand marble residence surrounded by gardens and estate lands, symbolising noble power and wealth. Its tall chimneys, arched windows, and carved doors revealed fine craftsmanship, while inside, a vast Great Hall with tapestries, long tables, and a blazing fireplace formed its heart. Private chambers were adorned with ornate beds, chests, and rich fabrics, but the servants inside looked gloomy and sad; some wandered worriedly through the corridors, maintaining the estate's elegance and order.
Inside a large room that screams luxury and royalty is now eerily silent, except for the fact that there being many people, some of them with blood in their white gloves, their long white coats that represent them as professional doctors are wrinkled and coloured red with the blood of their patient.
There's a bead of sweat on their forehead and they look nervous and anxious, despite being the highest-ranking doctors in their Empire.
They at most were able to make their patient's wounds heal and look as he did before, but they knew that the boy was no longer with them.
The boy with silver hair and smooth white skin that looked alive and the face of a very cute little kid of around twelve years old is lying unconsciously in the bed.
The surrounding doctors looked at the boy who was no longer breathing and lost the shine in his eyes. They are very afraid and dare not announce the news.
"Erm... L- Lady Silverheart.. "
Elara Silverheart the Grand Duchess of their Empire.
With the same silver hair and golden eyes as the young boy and a face that is said to be among the most beautiful women in the world, she has slender and tall figure with a voluptous body, standing in front of the door with her hands folded under her large breast, with hollow eyes and furrowed brows the look on her beautiful face right now is the most dangerous for the doctors.
"Umm... young master, he... he's no longer..."
Fortunately for them, before all hell broke loose on them, the door of the room opened and a figure that they recognised very well walked inside. The famous royal physicians, the best healers in the world like them are not even in comparison to the girl who has came here. The team of doctors now looked relived and some even had moist eyes as they were saved now.
The girl who walked into the room looked young like a teenager with long golden blonde hair and Deep cerulean eyes, petite figure and a fairy-like face, who looked like an angel had descended on the world. Behind her were two beautiful and identical women with black hair and golden armour, who were her bodyguards.
"You are seventy-nine seconds late Mira."
Elara said with an intimidating gaze and a bit of oppression with her aura.
The young girl- Mira Ousia a cheerful and kind-hearted girl, looked blankly at the most powerful female mage and her official guardian with a little sweat on her forehead,
'Scary!, How can she intimidate a cute girl like me, this woman is a tyrant!!'
"Aunt Elara let's not waste time on useless talk and show me the patient."
Mira shifted the topic to the most important thing right now. She walked forward slowly and the group of doctors gave way with their heads bowed to the young girl in front of them, after coming face-to-face with the boy who was announced dead by the most capable team of doctors she didn't know what to say...
The boy looked cute his skin had been healed and he looked healthy, not like someone who had died just moments ago. After assessing him, she understood she can't do anything to save the boy but...
Mira looked at Elara and saw the worry and grief behind her beautiful but scary face, she began to contemplate what to do.
As the Saintess of the primordial Goddess of nature and life Gaia, she could see that the boy's soul was still somewhat attached to his body but it was very small,
' I need something to anchor his soul to his body and then lock it there and fix it and then heal them...
sigh~ it's of no use i can't do all that with my current powers...'
Mira was drowning in her own thoughts, sinking deeper into despair as the crushing realisation settled in—she might not be able to save the one dearest to the woman who had been both her guardian and her mother figure.
Suddenly she felt a hand on her shoulder, she looked just to find herself alone with Elara, the rest of the doctors and her bodyguards had left the room. Elara had a drop of tears on her cheeks and her golden eyes were misty as if to say, I understand.
The strongest War maiden of human World, the white snow that never falls, the one whom even Emperors dare not challenge, is now seen crying for her son!!
' My Goddess what should I do?!'
"A-aunt Elara, can you leave me alone with your son, I can help him!"
Elara widened her teary eyes and said "I believe in you, please save him..." after that, she nodded and left. She was desperate to save her child so without thinking much, she placed all her hope on what Mira wanted to do to save him.
After Elara left Mira looked at the boy with silver hair, his name was Shin Silverheart, she had never met him before and just heard about him from Elara's mouth. She often talked about her three children to her whenever they met and she always wanted to meet them but not like this.
Mira just silently complained about, Fate being unfair and Destiny being cruel. But remembering the method she is about to use she decided to strengthen her resolve, because after this she will be...
------------
After almost half an hour later Shin finally opened his eyes! The eyes that had dimmed of their shimmer once had been filled with light again. The first thing he felt after being awake was the pain and heaviness in his body.
He remembered that he was playing with his sisters in the garden after their evening classes, then– then... a truck had hit him... huh?! wait, ' argh... my head, it hurts...'
After recovering from the pain that lasted around 5 minutes, he thought he was going crazy, but he suddenly felt his hand wrapping around something soft and smooth. He hugged the soft and squishy thing more tightly, the sensation alone helped him calm himself down until the pain subsided.
He opened his eyes again and saw the familiar ceiling of his room, he knows that he's Shin Silverheart the only son of Grand Duchess Elara Silverheart. He remembered everything his mother, his two sisters and the faces he often saw around his house, he remembered he was also hit by a black lightning bolt, however he also had memories of himself being in another world.
He was a university student and was living alone in an apartment. He was good at studies but bad at sports, he liked doing problem-solving things and was extremely proudful of his chess skills, after all he won the Grandmaster title. Then he remembered he had an accident, a truck had smashed into him.
He had memories of his two lives, or should we say his previous life. He died in that world because of a truck and he almost died in this world also by getting hit by a lightning, he reached the conclusion that because of the magic in this world, he was healed and hadn't died yet, and that he had become a different or rather a combined form of his two selves.
This is a sword and magic world where you can use spells abilities and super strength to become powerful and influential. This world is also very advanced in technology so one can live with only his brain power also.
He was relieved that he was atleast fine and decided to think about his situation later. He tried to turn his body to his left side but he suddenly realized that there was something pressed upon him and that's the thing he was hugging from the start.
He lifted the blanket from his body to see what's the thing that was pressed against his body. As he lifted the blanket he was dumbfounded, as he saw a beautiful girl sleeping on his chest. Her smooth slender hands were wrapped around him and her legs were between his legs, she smells so fragrant that he could bet he had never smelled this type of fragrance in his previous life.
For the first time, Shin gazed at Mira as she slept peacefully atop him, her lithe body nestled warmly against his chest. Though she looked no older than fifteen, she was a living angel—ethereal beauty with flowing golden-blonde hair that shimmered like heavenly silk and a flawless face he longed to admire for eternity. Mesmerized, he lifted his right hand and gently stroked those impossibly smooth locks, instantly losing himself in their divine softness.
Felling Someone's hand on her head Mira suddenly remembered the gentle, warm and full of love pats of her deceased mother and enjoyed it for some time before realising her situation. She got up from the boy's chest and sat at the side of the bed. She looked at the boy who was looking at her curiously and thought that she had to explain herself before he misunderstood her.
She said nervously "I–I was exhausted, don't misunderstand okay! I was healing you and then y–your lips..." Her face suddenly got red as she got embarrassed by something. Her heart started to beat faster as she thought about the things she had done to heal him.
Shin didn't understand what she was saying but as he looked at the girl in front of him, she looked so cute squirming and getting embarrassed, she was so innocent that he suddenly had the desire to tease her.
"What are you talking about is there something on my face, by the way thank you for healing me. I'm Shin Silverheart." He was surprised by himself that the name had easily slipped through his tongue as he introduced himself.
Mira calmed her beating her down she wanted to explain herself as she didn't want to be someone who took advantage of someone unconscious, "I know about you, and I'm Mira Ousia, I was the one who healed you but– but the method I had to use was very unconventional. I'm sorry, please don't be mad at me." She bowed her head to him as she said that.
Shin was dumbfounded, because he couldn't imagine a girl like her doing something harmful to anyone. No one would ever thought a little girl to apologize suddenly to them and then be afraid of someone to be mad at her. The people out there would bet mad at them who would scold the girl.
He said calmly "Mira how can I be mad at someone who had saved me, as per your apology for the method you used, explain to me clearly what happened, based on your explanation I'll decide what to think of you."
Mira was dumbfounded by his calmness and the serious words, but the thing that amazed her was that he was literally only twelve years older and he was speaking like a mature person to her.
"You were hit by a lightning attack but it was an attack that exceeded the regular attacks. Royal physicians are more than enough to heal someone after that attack but you were almost dead and your was the one that received more damage or it was deliberately targeted on your soul."
After seeing his serious look that says he understood what she said she continued "Your soul had left your body and only a single strand of it was there. So... I didn't have any other choice but to strengthen your soul and pull it back into your body by doing that..."
Mira again got embarrassed and was taking her time to say it more clearly but Shin who looked serious was amazed and admired her to be able to bring someone back from the brink of death.
"As a saintess of Goddess Gaia who rule over life and nature we can see the soul of any being and can also bind their soul by something and use it as any mean as we want, but I'm still very weak and can't manipulate souls yet. But I know a method that can bind my soul to someone else's soul and strengthen them. So I used that method to help you."
Shin who had read a lot of fantasy novels and anime knew some things related to souls in fantasy world but he was really confused and was having some strange ideas, what does it mean by binding two souls together, isn't that?!..
He asked the important thing first "What does it means that our souls are bound together?"
"That means we are married now!!"
