Chapter 14 - Chapter 14: Problem

Emily glanced at Mira, then at Shin, and back to Mira again. Her crimson eyes were intense but surprisingly calm as she spoke, her voice steady and firm.

"I'm not cruel enough to hurt you or destroy your happiness, Mira. So I'll make this simple — perform the Soulmate ritual between me and Shin right now."

She first fixed Shin's pants, then she reached up and gently pulled her soaked panties from Shin's mouth, the fabric still warm and tasting of her. Without hesitation, she slipped them back on, the damp silk clinging to her slick folds as if nothing had happened. Then she moved to Mira, removing her own bra from the girl's mouth with careful fingers. She without hesitation threw that at some corner and prepared another one from the bag resting near the table and slid it back over her heavy breasts.

The room fell quiet once more. Emily again crouched between Shin's legs, one hand resting possessively on his thigh, waiting patiently for Mira's response while her crimson gaze flicked between the two of them.

Shin stayed silent for a moment, breathing heavily. He wasn't against the idea of becoming soulmates with Emily — the thought of binding himself to his big sister, of having her completely, sent a confusing rush of warmth through him. He truly loved her, and part of him wanted this. But his gaze kept drifting to Mira, worry tightening in his chest.

"Mira…" he said softly, voice rough from the gag. "Are you okay with this? I don't want to force anything on you or hurt our bond. I love you too… I don't want you to feel like you're losing me."

Mira sat there, still bound, breathing shakily after having the bra removed. Her eyes were wide, a mix of lingering shock, jealousy, and unmistakable anger towards Emily. She looked at Shin with soft, trembling lips, clearly torn but trying to hold herself together for him.

Her eyes were wide, carrying a mix of lingering shock, jealousy, and unmistakable anger toward Emily. She looked at Shin, her lips trembling slightly, as if she was holding back a storm of emotions.

Despite the turmoil within her, she tried to steady herself, forcing those feelings down, trying to remain composed—for him.

Shin looked at Mira with soft, worried eyes and spoke gently.

"Mira… don't force yourself. If this hurts you, I don't want to see you hurt because of my decisions or desires. If you don't want this, I won't do the soulmate ritual with Emily. If you're going to get hurt by it, then I won't do it at all."

Mira remained completely silent. She sat there bound to the chair, head slightly lowered, eyes downcast. Despite Emily never physically harming them, the fear lingered — she knew Emily could have if Shin had rejected her outright.

Deep down, Mira was strongly against the idea, her heart aching at the thought of sharing her soul-bound husband in such a permanent way. But she said nothing, lips pressed tightly together.

Emily's expression darkened instantly. She stared up at Shin with intense, burning crimson eyes, her body tensing like she was ready to sink her teeth into him for daring to hesitate. Her voice came out sharp and accusatory.

"What are you saying, Shin?! You said you love me. You said you want me. You accepted me just now — you said you would marry me! And now you want to get permission from her?"

Shin met her gaze seriously, his tone turning cold and firm.

"That's your punishment for all this. I know you love me — I've always known. And I do love you too. But you made this decision without asking me or considering Mira's feelings at all. If you had only restrained me, it would have been one thing… but you shouldn't have dragged Mira into it. I promised myself I would make her happy and never hurt her. Yet my own big sister — the one I love — brought me down like this."

He paused, voice softening just a fraction with understanding.

"I know you did all this because you love me and want to spend your whole life with me. The jealousy when you heard about the engagement between me and Mira… it broke your heart. I understand that."

Mira's eyes widened. She was clearly moved by Shin's words — the way he defended her, the way he put her feelings first even now. Anger and jealousy still simmered inside her, but she suppressed it deeply. After a long, heavy silence, she finally spoke, her voice soft, trembling, and full of submissive devotion.

"…If it is what my husband truly wants… then I will help perform the ritual."

But a much greater problem hung in the air.

"But... The Soulmate ritual could not be performed without divine permission."

Shin now faced the weight of both women's feelings — and the realization that even if Mira agreed, something far greater might stand in their way.

"Big sister, first uncuff us and let's talk about it properly."

Emily hesitated for a second, crimson eyes flickering with reluctance, but she eventually obeyed. She released the handcuffs and untied the silk ropes from both Shin and Mira with careful fingers. After they washed their faces and cleaned up the mess from earlier, the three of them moved to the sofa in Shin's room.

Shin sat down first and gently pulled Mira onto his lap. Despite the small age gap and the few inches of height difference between them, her petite, delicate figure fit comfortably against him, curling naturally into his embrace like she belonged there.

Mira leaned back against his chest with quiet submission, her head resting lightly on his shoulder, hands folded modestly in her lap as she stayed perfectly still for him.

Emily sat down on Shin's left side, immediately clinging possessively to his left arm. She pressed her soft body against him, hugging his arm tightly between her full breasts, cheek resting against his shoulder as if afraid he might disappear if she let go even a little.

With a very sad, almost heartbroken expression on her face, Emily whispered,

"Isn't there any other way to make us soulmates…?"

Mira remained quiet for a moment, nestled securely on Shin's lap, before replying in her soft, gentle voice.

"When I performed the ritual, I was granted permission directly from my goddess. She knew my circumstances and my deep desire to save you, Shin… so she gave me her blessing."

Shin looked between them and asked seriously,

"Can't we ask her to grant permission for this as well?"

Mira lowered her gaze modestly, her tone respectful and yielding.

"I don't know… I can try to ask her, but she doesn't hear my requests often. She only answers when the need is truly desperate or when it aligns with her will. I'm not sure if she will listen this time…"

Emily's grip on Shin's arm tightened, her body trembling slightly against him. Her crimson eyes shimmered with fresh unshed tears as she looked up at him with raw longing and sadness.

"Please… Shin… I can't bear the thought of not being connected with you. I want to be bound to you forever, just like Mira. I want us to be connected too. If there's even the smallest chance… I'll do anything."

Mira lifted her head from Shin's shoulder, her delicate hands resting gently on his chest as she looked up at him with soft, adoring eyes.

"If you want… I can ask the goddess right now and request her to grant permission, my husband," she said gently, her voice like a warm caress meant only for him.

Shin gazed down at her. He started patting her head gently. She felt so soft and warm in his arms, petite body nestled perfectly on his lap like she belonged there. In that moment, he wished he could keep her exactly like this forever — small, yielding, and safely tucked against him for eternity.

He noticed how she had started calling him "husband" more often in private, the word slipping from her lips with increasing intimacy and natural devotion. He liked it. No — he loved it. His heart swelled with the urge to treasure her always.

After losing her parents five years ago, Mira had lived without receiving any real love. Life in the grand church at the capital had been comfortable and safe, but the people around her — priests, nuns, and attendants — always maintained a respectful distance because of her special position.

Their warmth was polite, never personal. No one had held her. No one had cherished her. No one had made her feel truly wanted.

That loneliness had quietly shaped her into the submissive wife she was now. She craved love more than anything — to give it completely, to receive it without reservation, and to surrender herself entirely to the one person who finally made her feel safe and desired.

Being warm, obedient, and devoted wasn't just her personality; it was her deepest need. She wanted to belong to someone heart and soul, to exist for his happiness, to melt into his arms and let him decide everything. Only then did the empty ache inside her finally quiet.

Mira's fingers traced light circles on Shin's chest as she waited patiently for his answer, her body relaxed and pliant in his lap, ready to do whatever would please him most.

Emily stayed pressed tightly against Shin's left side, still clutching his arm possessively, her crimson eyes flicking between the two of them with a mix of jealousy and anxious hope. The room felt heavy with unspoken emotions as all three waited for Shin's decision.
