Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: Worst punishment imaginable

In the divine plane, far beyond mortal reach, the primordial goddess Gaia lounged in blissful relaxation.

She lay on her stomach across an enormous, cloud-soft bed draped in flowing silks of emerald and gold. Her long, silky blue hair — the vibrant shade of a clear summer sky — cascaded messily over one shoulder and pooled on the pillow like liquid sapphire.

She rested her chin on a large, fluffy pillow, green eyes sparkling with pure delight as she happily read a colorful version of the Shoujo manga volume propped open in front of her. The pages were filled with vibrant artwork and dramatic romance scenes that made her kick her bare feet playfully in the air behind her.

Her body was the very definition of beautiful and sexy — full, voluptuous curves barely contained by a loose, sheer white gown that had slipped off one shoulder, revealing the smooth swell of her generous breasts and the elegant line of her back. The thin fabric clung teasingly to her hips and thighs, leaving little to the imagination.

A soft, carefree giggle escaped her glossy lips as she turned a page, completely absorbed and happy in her private sanctuary. The air around her carried the sweet scent of blooming flowers and fresh rain-kissed earth.

Suddenly, a familiar, gentle voice echoed softly through the divine space — hesitant, respectful, yet carrying a quiet plea.

It was Mira. Her saintess.

Gaia's bright green eyes widened slightly in surprise, her happy smile lingering as she paused mid-page. Mira had always been the most devoted of her followers — the girl who prayed with pure gratitude and never once demanded anything in return, even when life had been exceptionally cruel to her. She had endured loss, loneliness, and isolation with quiet grace, never complaining.

But recently… Mira had started requesting things.

"My dear little saintess…" she murmured softly to herself, voice rich and melodic like the rustling of ancient forests. "You've grown bolder lately. First the soul bond… and now this?"

She remained lying comfortably on her stomach, pillow cradling both the manga and her face, waiting with curious interest to hear exactly what her little follower wanted to ask this time.

In the world of Humanitus,

Mira buried her face deep into Shin's chest, pressing her cheek against his heartbeat as if drawing strength from him. Her voice turned small and pitiful, trembling with cute desperation as she reached out mentally to her goddess.

"Please, my goddess… can't you help me this one time, please…?"

In the divine plane, Gaia was still lying comfortably on her stomach, blue hair spilling like silk across the pillow, green eyes sparkling as she flipped another page of her manga.

A soft, carefree giggle had just escaped her when the prayer reached her.

She paused, propping her chin on the pillow with a playful tilt of her head. Mira's voice was so adorably pitiful — exactly the kind of sweet, helpless plea that always tugged at her.

"Haa…" Gaia sighed, her full lips curving into an amused smile. Her voluptuous figure shifted lazily on the bed, the sheer gown slipping further off one shoulder.

"If it was just for you, my sweet little saintess, I wouldn't have thought much… but your husband seems so greedy. Despite having such a cute and beautiful little flower like you all to himself, he dares to eye another woman? It's shameless of him."

She tapped the manga page lightly with one elegant finger, eyes twinkling with mischief.

"A man should dedicate his life solely to his wife, you know? He should gift her chocolate on special days, walk her home under one umbrella when it rains so she never gets wet, share quiet sunset walks where he notices every little thing that makes her smile, and leave sweet little notes that make her heart race even when they're apart. That kind of pure, single-minded devotion is what a wife truly deserves."

Mira's mental voice came back quickly, still buried against Shin's chest, but now laced with a surprisingly fierce possessiveness that made Gaia's green eyes widen in delight.

"He's not like that!" Mira insisted, her thoughts trembling with emotion.

"He cares about me more than anything! He loves me — I'm the one he chose first, the one he married by soul! We will do all those things and more.

He just doesn't want to be separated from his elder sister… and even though she's crazy and senseless right now, she's still a good person deep down. I don't care how many women he has, because I know I'm his first wife. I'm his first priority. No one will ever take that place from me. He's mine. My husband. Mine."

Gaia blinked, then burst into soft, melodic laughter, rolling onto her side on the cloud-soft bed. Her blue hair fanned out dramatically, and she hugged the manga to her generous chest, genuinely amused.

She had known Mira for at least five years — her most devoted and obedient saintess — yet here the girl was, boldly siding with her husband over her own goddess. It was strangely entertaining.

After their friendly but eventful mental conversation, Gaia's tone shifted into something more playful yet serious.

"Very well. I'll give you a condition for my permission," she said. "If your husband can remain completely abstinent for four full years — no touching, no release, nothing at all — then I will grant your wish and allow the new soulmate bond.

But if he fails even once… I will curse him with (erectile dysfunction) he would never be able to use his little brother to defile my beautiful saintess, for the rest of his life."

"Noooooo…!" Mira cried out loud this time, her face flushing bright red as she hid it back against Shin's chest in pure embarrassment and distress.

In the divine plane, Gaia threw her head back on the pillow and burst into bright, ringing laughter.

"Hahahaha~~~!"

The goddess's sexy, curvaceous body shook with mirth, blue hair dancing across the silk sheets as she enjoyed the chaotic little drama unfolding in the mortal world. She picked up her manga again, still giggling softly to herself, clearly entertained by how far her once-timid saintess had come.

Mira stayed buried in Shin's chest, cheeks burning, heart pounding as she processed the impossible condition. Emily's grip on Shin's arm tightened in confusion at the sudden outburst, while Shin himself could only feel Mira trembling softly in his lap, completely unaware of the divine bargain that had just been struck.

"…That's what she said," she mumbled softly against his shirt, voice small and trembling. "If you remain completely abstinent for four full years… no release at all… she'll grant the soulmate ritual. But if you fail even once… she'll curse you with erectile dysfunction for the rest of your life."

Shin felt the words hit him like a hammer.

'Ugh… having two absolute beauties right beside me and I won't be able to do anything with them… That's seriously a blasphemy to their beauty.'

His mind spun. 'And what the hell is with that absurd penalty? Having ED is the worst punishment — no one would even wish that on their worst enemy…'

A severe headache started pounding behind his eyes as the reality sank in.

Emily, still clutching his left arm tightly and pressing her body against him, exploded with fury. Her crimson eyes flashed with raw anger as she spoke, voice shaking with frustration.

"No, no, no… You can't be serious! I can't live without touching you, without feeling you close to me, without making love with you! It's the worst type of punishment imaginable!"

"And Four years…?" she hissed through gritted teeth, voice low and dangerous. "That woman wants my little brother to suffer for four whole years while his beautiful big sister who adore him is right here? This is ridiculous!"

She squeezed his arm harder, almost trembling. "And what's with that curse? Does she just throw curses around randomly? Why doesn't she hand out blessings like that instead?!"

Emily was clearly the most furious of all three, her possessive nature flaring hot at the thought of being denied her beloved little brother for four long years.

Mira finally peeked up at Shin, face still flushed deep red. She spoke quickly, stuttering in her usual soft, gentle tone.

"I… I negotiated with her a little…" she said, glancing at him shyly. "We can still hug… and kiss each other. Just… nothing more than that. No touching below the waist, and no… release."

The room fell into heavy silence.

The three of them sat in heavy silence on the sofa — Mira curled sweetly in his lap, Emily clutching his arm like she might never let go — the weight of the goddess's condition hanging over them like a thick cloud. Four years of strict abstinence, with only hugs and kisses allowed, or the terrifying risk of a permanent curse.

Shin's headache only grew worse as he tried to process the impossible bargain.

Shin finally accepted the condition with visible difficulty, his jaw tightening as he rubbed the bridge of his nose. The thought of four long years of nothing but hugs and kisses felt like slow torture, especially with both women pressed so warmly against him right now. But he knew there was no other path if he wanted peace between the two people he loved most.

"…Alright," he said at last, voice heavy with reluctance. "I accept. Four years. Hugs and kisses only. Let's do the ritual."

Mira's eyes softened with quiet devotion as she slipped off his lap and stood, offering him her small hand. "Thank you, my husband… I'll inform the goddess right away."

Emily's crimson eyes flashed with a mix of fierce possessiveness and barely contained frustration, but she squeezed his arm tighter and nodded sharply.

"If that's what it takes to bind my soul to yours forever… then I'll endure it too," she muttered, though her tone made it clear she hated every second of the idea. "Just don't you dare break it, Shin. You're going to be mine completely after this."

Mira closed her eyes briefly, sending the final confirmation to Gaia. When she opened them again, a gentle golden glow began to shimmer around her palms.

"The goddess has accepted your decision," she said softly. "The ritual can begin now."
