"What?" Neo said in confusion.
"If you want to, I can craft better memories for you and replace them with the ones that aren't pleasant." Raze offered, standing in front of Neo with a completely serious expression.
"You can do that too?" Neo's voice threatened to falter.
"I can do much more than you can ever imagine," Raze smiled. "I can make sure that you never remember and experience anything that brings you pain. I can erase every sad moment in your life."
"Any moment you felt weak, helpless, broken. All of it. Just say the word and you can return to that carefree life." Raze said in promise, then pointed towards another door.
The memory beyond the door featured a four year old Neo out with his older sister and his parents in a park. His tiny chubby hands were holding onto a cone ice cream.
Looking at the ice cream, the brightness of his smile could rival that of the sun.
