188| Uncanny Valley
Neo used his eyes to look around in a subtle manner. People were sparsely filtered into the hall, and not everyone was seated. Some were standing in groups of three and discussing in whispers.
"Ah…" Neo exclaimed softly when he found someone who matched Killian's features.
Inky black hair with piercing gray eyes. A red mole next to his right eye and a sly smile on his lips.
Killian looked exactly like he did in his movies. Even the way he held the wine glass in his eyes.
After Neo spotted him, his eyes darted to the people around him. It was just one person.
Tree.
Neo veered back with initial shock because what the hell was Tree doing in such a place?
Neo could recognize that bright green hair anywhere because it stood out too much. Especially in an event like this.
There were less than a hundred people in total here, so it was incredibly clear that attendance was strictly by invite. So how come Tree was here?
