Ever since Daenerys fought Glutton with Sheepstealer last time, she has arranged for several roasted livestock to be sent near Sheepstealer's cave every few days for her to devour.
Unfortunately, most of the time those livestock were wasted, benefiting the wild beasts and raptors in the mountains for free.
Although Dragonstone is full of rocks, there are many raptors that live on sea fish here. There are also some hyenas, foxes, and other wild animals in the mountains.
Especially in recent years, Daenerys has been feeding the Dragons daily, and the wild Dragons that used to feed on these beasts and raptors no longer care for the small amount of meat on them, so their numbers have increased significantly.
Sheepstealer used to like to poach sheep from shepherds on several nearby islands; her tracks had been found multiple times on Tide Head Island and Wend River.
However, ever since Daenerys continuously fed the Dragons on Dragon Mountain in recent years, she had almost stopped poaching, so it was unexpected that she would revert to her old habits now.
Daenerys always felt that something must have happened to Sheepstealer; otherwise, she would not suddenly be so abnormal.
After sensing Daenerys's summons, Dreamfire, along with Miraxis and Grey Shadow, quickly arrived by Daenerys's side, one after another.
Mounting Dreamfire, Daenerys quickly rushed towards the breeding sheep farm.
By the time Daenerys arrived at the scene, Samwell and several officials from White Sheep Town had already arrived.
The surviving breeding sheep had already been moved by the shepherds to another backup sheepfold.
This Dragon attack did not result in any casualties, which was a blessing in disguise.
Rhaenyra sat bored on her Dragon Syrax's back, looking at the sheepfold destroyed by Sheepstealer.
And Syrax's eyes were fixed on the charred sheep, clearly eager to eat.
This is the difference between a tamed Dragon and a wild Dragon. Accompanied by their Dragon Knight, no matter how fierce or irritable a Dragon is, it will behave very well.
The main part of this sheepfold was entirely built with black Dragonstone, so although the roof had been torn open by Sheepstealer, and most of the sheep inside were burned to death, the sheepfold as a whole was not too badly damaged.
Watching Miraxis and a few Dragons drooling over the charred sheep, Daenerys guessed why Sheepstealer attacked this sheepfold.
Because the breeding sheep raised in this sheepfold were all high-quality breeds carefully selected by Daenerys, and their feed was mixed with colored earth and special feed.
So, after more than a month, they had already acquired a trace of magical aura, no wonder they attracted Sheepstealer.
Although Sheepstealer wiped out a small half of her carefully cultivated breeding sheep in one go, Daenerys felt more excited than distressed.
Because her method indeed worked; using colored earth combined with special feed not only greatly improved the quality of the livestock but also allowed their flesh and blood to acquire a trace of magical aura.
Such livestock not only greatly benefited Dragons who ate them, but Daenerys believed that even humans who consumed them long-term could achieve the effect of strengthening their bodies.
However, even so, Daenerys was not prepared to let Sheepstealer run rampant in her territory.
"Rhaenyra, let's go teach Sheepstealer a lesson together! Otherwise, I don't know how many more of my pastures will suffer in the future!"
Rhaenyra was already envious that Daenerys had experienced several Dragon battles, so she immediately agreed excitedly,
"Okay, okay!"
"With your Dreamfire and my Syrax working together, Sheepstealer will definitely not be our match."
"Let's go!"
Daenerys then pointed at the charred sheep and smiled,
"Sister, no rush, let the Dragons devour these charred sheep first."
"Eat!"
Both of them almost simultaneously gave the command to eat to their Dragons. However, with Dreamfire present, no other Dragon dared to step forward first, except for Miraxis.
After Dreamfire devoured five, Daenerys made her retreat, by which time the daring Miraxis had almost finished devouring a small half of one.
At this moment, Syrax, who had approached, let out an angry roar at Miraxis, trying to drive away the little one.
But although Miraxis was not large, her temper was not small; she directly breathed Dragonflame at Syrax, then grabbed the remaining half of her sheep and quickly fled the scene.
The enraged Syrax was about to retaliate on the spot but was timely restrained by Rhaenyra,
"Syrax, calm down, calm down!"
Syrax was quickly appeased by her sister and began to devour the fat sheep in front of her.
And as Syrax quieted down, Xiao Bellerion and the other three Dragons, who had been eager to try, also relaxed their bodies.
Daenerys had no doubt that if Syrax were to attack Miraxis, Xiao Bellerion and the others would definitely team up against Syrax.
Although their size was only half that of Syrax, three Dragons working together would be more than Syrax could handle.
Dreamfire
But apparently, neither Syrax nor Rhaenyra noticed the actions of these three inconspicuous Dragons.
When there were three left, Rhaenyra stopped Syrax from continuing to eat. Because at least one had to be left for each of the three little ones.
Once the Dragons had finished eating, Daenerys and her sworn sister rode their Dragons towards Sheepstealer's cave.
Sheepstealer
Sheepstealer's cave was located on the back of Dragon Mountain; the entrance was not large, and Dreamfire's size meant she couldn't crawl in. Syrax and the three Dragons, however, were just the right size.
In fact, Dragons have a strong sense of territory. Last time, if Glutton hadn't gotten too close to Sheepstealer's cave entrance, making her feel threatened and offended.
And Glutton must have often bullied her in the past; otherwise, Sheepstealer would never have attacked him so easily.
This time, when the Dragons arrived, Sheepstealer immediately noticed them. From inside her cave, she let out an angry roar towards the entrance, hoping to scare away the invading Dragons.
In fact, this tactic is usually very effective against wild Dragons, because the echo in the cave amplifies the Dragon's roar significantly. It easily creates an illusion for wild Dragons that the Dragon inhabiting the cave is much more powerful than it actually is.
However, this tactic had no deterrent effect on Dragons ridden by Dragon Knights.
"Daenerys, your Dreamfire can't enter this cave, so let me ride Syrax in and force her out."
"You stay at the entrance, and then we'll sandwich her from both sides and lock her up like Glutton, to save us from trouble everywhere!"
Having said that, she urged Syrax to crawl into Sheepstealer's cave. And Xiao Bellerion and the other three Dragons also followed in at Daenerys's signal.
