Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 – First Blood

The city of Mumbai never truly slept.

Even in the middle of the night, lights glowed from tall buildings, cars moved across roads, and distant voices filled the air.

But tonight…

Something was different.

A silent storm had arrived.

And no one knew it yet.

---

Rahul stepped onto the shore.

Not from a boat.

Not by swimming.

He simply walked out of the sea.

His clothes were still wet, but his body felt completely normal. No exhaustion. No weakness.

Only power.

Raw… terrifying power.

He looked back at the ocean for a moment.

The same ocean that should have taken his life.

Instead, it had given him something far greater.

Rahul turned toward the city.

His eyes were cold.

Emotionless.

"Now… let's begin."

---

Within minutes, Rahul reached the streets.

The city felt smaller now.

Slower.

He could hear conversations from far away.

See movements in the dark.

Even the heartbeat of people nearby felt clear to him.

Everything had changed.

Rahul walked through the silent road until he stopped in front of a building.

A familiar place.

A place he once visited with hope.

Now, it only reminded him of betrayal.

This was where his ex-girlfriend lived.

Rahul stood still for a few seconds.

No hesitation.

No doubt.

Only a single thought—

They deserve it.

---

He stepped forward.

The main gate was locked.

Rahul raised his hand slightly.

Crack.

The lock broke instantly.

Not loudly.

Not violently.

Just… effortlessly.

Rahul walked inside.

---

The hallway was quiet.

A security guard sat near the entrance, half-asleep.

Rahul glanced at him.

Their eyes met for a brief second.

The guard froze.

His body stiffened.

His mind went blank.

Rahul didn't even say a word.

The guard slowly looked away… as if nothing had happened.

Rahul walked past him.

No resistance.

No questions.

---

Inside the building, Rahul moved like a shadow.

He didn't use the stairs.

He didn't need to.

He stepped forward—

And in the next second, he was already on the third floor.

He looked at his hand.

"…Teleportation?"

A faint smile appeared on his face.

"This is getting interesting."

---

He stopped in front of a door.

Flat number 307.

He knew this place.

He had stood here before.

Waiting.

Hoping.

Begging for love.

But tonight was different.

Rahul raised his hand and knocked.

Three slow knocks.

Knock… Knock… Knock…

A few seconds of silence.

Then footsteps.

The door opened.

A man stood there.

Confusion on his face.

"Yes? Who are—"

He stopped mid-sentence.

Rahul's eyes locked onto his.

The man's expression changed instantly.

His pupils widened.

His body froze.

"…You…"

Rahul stepped forward.

His voice calm.

Cold.

"Recognize me?"

The man tried to speak.

But no words came out.

His body refused to respond.

Rahul had already taken control.

Complete control.

---

Inside the room—

She was there.

Sitting on the couch.

His ex-girlfriend.

The one who had left him.

The one who had broken him.

She looked toward the door.

At first, she was confused.

Then shocked.

"Rahul…?"

Her voice trembled.

"What are you doing here?"

Rahul didn't answer.

He slowly walked inside.

The man beside him moved like a puppet, completely under Rahul's control.

The door closed behind them.

Click.

Silence filled the room.

---

Rahul looked at her.

For a brief second…

Old memories tried to surface.

The good moments.

The laughter.

The promises.

But they faded instantly.

Replaced by pain.

And anger.

"You moved on fast," Rahul said quietly.

She stood up nervously.

"It's not what you think—"

"Stop."

Rahul's voice echoed sharply.

She froze.

Completely.

Her body refused to move.

Her eyes filled with fear.

Rahul walked closer.

Step by step.

"You didn't even wait," he continued.

"You didn't even try."

Tears formed in her eyes.

"I… I had no choice…"

Rahul smiled faintly.

But there was no warmth in it.

"No choice?"

He turned his head slightly toward the man.

"Did he give you a choice?"

The man stood still.

Like a statue.

Rahul raised his hand.

The man slowly walked forward.

Step… by step…

Until he stood right beside Rahul.

"Look at him," Rahul said.

"Look at the man you chose."

She shook her head weakly.

Fear consumed her completely.

"Please… Rahul… don't do anything…"

Rahul's eyes darkened.

"Don't do anything?"

He stepped closer.

"So when I begged… did you stop?"

Silence.

Her tears fell.

But it was too late.

---

Rahul turned toward the man.

His voice became colder.

"Kill her."

The words echoed in the room.

The man's body moved instantly.

He grabbed her throat.

Her eyes widened in horror.

She struggled.

Tried to scream.

But no sound came out.

"R-Rahul… please…!"

Her voice broke.

But Rahul didn't move.

Didn't react.

He simply watched.

Calmly.

Emotionlessly.

Within seconds—

Her body went limp.

The man dropped her to the floor.

Silence.

---

Rahul looked at her lifeless body.

For a moment…

There was nothing.

No sadness.

No regret.

Only emptiness.

Then—

He turned toward the man.

"Now… your turn."

The man looked at Rahul.

Fear returned to his eyes.

For a brief second, his control weakened.

"Please… I didn't—"

Crack.

His neck twisted unnaturally.

His body fell beside hers.

Dead.

---

The room became completely silent.

Two bodies on the floor.

And one man standing above them.

Rahul.

---

He looked around slowly.

No panic.

No rush.

Everything felt… normal.

As if this was meant to happen.

"As expected," he muttered.

"No one matters."

Rahul turned toward the door.

As he walked out, he stopped for a moment.

Without looking back, he said softly—

"This is just the beginning."

---

Outside, the city continued its normal life.

Unaware.

Unbothered.

But something had changed tonight.

A line had been crossed.

A man had awakened.

Not a hero.

Not a savior.

But something far more dangerous.

---

A being born from the blood of Tripura.

And this time…

There would be no mercy.
