Part 1: Fate
Scene shifted to Ryuk and Marin.
They woke up in the real world.
Ryuk was in complete silence.
His expression was stiff.
Like something was wrong.
Like he had seen something far beyond what he was prepared for.
Something huge.
Something overwhelming.
His mind started to race.
"What the hell was that..."
"Does that mean Haruto is a special person who can save the world?"
"But why did it call Haruto a watcher?"
"What does that even mean?"
"And why did we even teleport there?"
"Who was that statue person?"
"What is Calvation doing there?"
"Why and how did we reach there?"
"What was that destruction?"
"Was that even real?"
"What is special about Haruto?"
"What makes him special?"
"Does that mean I have to save Haruto?"
"Is Haruto the only one who can save everything?"
"Am I the chosen person to protect him?"
"But why...?"
Ryuk kept questioning everything.
His thoughts were tangled.
His mind was unstable.
For the first time, Ryuk felt something he was not used to—
Confusion.
Deep confusion.
Then Marin interrupted him.
She looked at him with concern.
She asked what just happened.
Ryuk paused.
He looked at her.
But he had no clear answer.
Right now, even he didn't understand what he saw.
So he decided to push those questions aside.
For now.
He would think about it later.
But one thing was clear in his mind—
Haruto was not normal.
There was something special about him.
Something far beyond what they understood.
Scene shifted to Haruto and Leo.
After the old man died,
They buried his body.
Silence filled the air for a moment.
Then—
"Hey Leo," Haruto said.
"Uhh," Leo replied.
"You know Eiji—the one who killed this old man?" Haruto asked.
"No," Leo said.
"It doesn't matter now," Haruto said calmly.
"I am going to hunt him down."
Leo looked at him in shock.
"Are you serious?"
"You mean you're going to hunt that person?"
"It's a joke, right?"
"No," Haruto replied.
"I am serious."
"I will hunt that person in these 3 days before leaving Logpost."
Then Haruto extended his hand slightly.
"And you have two options."
"One—stay calm and do nothing."
"Or join me and become a beast."
"And work along with this hunt."
"So what's your choice, Leo?"
Haruto spoke calmly.
Too calmly.
His dominant red eye locked onto Leo.
His face showed no hesitation.
No doubt.
Only certainty.
"You have only 2 options."
"What will you choose?"
Leo looked at Haruto.
His mind froze.
He couldn't think clearly.
He didn't know what to say.
The pressure was heavy.
Haruto's gaze made it even worse.
"Tell me right now."
"I want your answer right now," Haruto said.
Under that pressure—
Leo made his decision.
He chose to join Haruto.
After that, Haruto moved forward immediately.
"If we are going to defeat Eiji, first we need to understand his power," Haruto said.
Leo had already mentioned—
Eiji's power was insane.
Haruto thought carefully.
They had already spent a lot of money.
Right now, Haruto had around 4000 Reo.
Then he made a decision.
He would gather information.
They walked through the streets.
The streets were crowded.
Full of travelers.
Full of adventurers.
After walking for a while—
They reached a bar.
They entered.
Haruto ordered two vines for 3 Reo and 15 Peny.
He sat quietly.
Observing everything around him.
Everyone inside looked experienced.
This was the right place.
Then Haruto spoke to the bar owner.
"Is everyone here an adventurer?"
"Mostly," the owner replied.
"They come from different places."
"Some from the east."
"Some from the north."
Haruto nodded.
"Then can you help me?" he asked.
"But in what?" the owner asked.
Haruto took a sip of his vine.
"Can you tell me if there is a spy available in Logpost?"
"Someone who can help me find a person's power."
The owner looked at him carefully.
"But who?"
"Anyone who is trustworthy," Haruto said.
The owner paused.
Then said—
"I can arrange that."
"But it will cost 100 Reo."
Haruto didn't hesitate.
He gave the money.
Then the owner said—
"Come tomorrow."
"You will find that spy."
"Okay," Haruto replied.
After that, Haruto and Leo left the bar.
Haruto turned to Leo.
"You can go anywhere for now."
"I am going to the library to study rituals."
Leo nodded.
Then he left.
Haruto walked alone through the streets.
After asking a few people—
He finally found the library.
He entered.
Quiet.
Calm.
Filled with knowledge.
Haruto searched for a book.
After some time—
He found it.
He sat down.
Opened the book.
And started reading.
It was a book about rituals.
As he read—
He began to understand.
There were five types of rituals.
1) Finite Ritual:
These are common rituals.
Anyone can use them.
They are mostly support-type.
Like healing.
2) Elemental Ritual:
In this type—
People convert eco energy into natural energy.
Fire.
Water.
Lightning.
And other elements.
3) Summoning Ritual:
This allows users to summon creatures or objects.
Using ritual circles.
4) Craft Ritual:
Users can create objects using eco energy.
Weapons.
Tools.
Anything.
5) Specialist Ritual:
These are special.
They don't fit into any category.
They are unique.
Exclusive.
Powerful.
A special ritual for a special person.
Haruto kept reading.
Understanding.
Learning.
Preparing.
Scene shifted.
A group of cloaked people stood in front of a dungeon.
"Is the dungeon boss already killed?" one of them asked in a deep voice.
"Maybe," another replied.
"That means the watcher already cleared the dungeon."
Silence.
Then—
"Now we have to find the watcher somewhere else."
Another voice spoke.
The hunt had already begun.
