Chapter 6 - Out of Control

The next morning felt different.

Not normal.

Not anymore.

The classroom was filled with students, but the usual noise had changed. Conversations were quieter, more tense. Everyone was talking about the same thing.

Awakenings.

Incidents.

Rumors.

Kabir leaned back in his chair.

"I'm telling you, it's happening everywhere this time."

Aisha crossed her arms.

"It happens every cycle. People are just overreacting."

Anaya looked slightly uneasy.

"Still… something feels different."

Ishaan remained silent.

His fingers tapped lightly against the desk.

That faint feeling was still there.

Small.

But real.

The teacher had not arrived yet.

The classroom buzzed with low chatter.

Then suddenly, a loud crash broke the rhythm.

Everyone turned.

A desk had fallen.

A student stood beside it, breathing heavily, his body trembling.

"I… I didn't mean to…"

His voice shook.

Kabir frowned.

"What's wrong with him?"

The boy stared at his hands, panic spreading across his face.

"My body… it feels weird…"

The air shifted.

A faint, unstable energy flickered around him.

Aisha's expression changed instantly.

"Something's wrong."

Anaya whispered softly,

"Is he… awakening?"

The boy staggered backward.

His breathing became faster, heavier.

"I can't control it…!"

The floor beneath his feet cracked slightly.

Students began stepping away, fear spreading across the room.

"Hey, calm down!" someone shouted.

But it was too late.

The energy around him surged violently.

Unstable.

Dangerous.

"Everyone back," Aisha said sharply.

Students rushed toward the door, pushing past each other.

Panic filled the room.

Ishaan stood still.

Watching.

That feeling inside him reacted again.

Like it was answering the chaos.

Calling him.

The boy screamed.

Then everything exploded.

A shockwave burst out.

Desks flipped.

Windows cracked.

Students screamed.

Ishaan's heart pounded.

His instincts kicked in again.

Move.

That same feeling from before began to rise inside him.

The speed.

The power.

The boy lifted his head.

His eyes were wild.

Unfocused.

Dangerous.

He stepped forward.

Toward the students.

Anaya froze.

Kabir moved in front of her.

"Stay behind me."

Aisha clenched her fist.

For a brief moment, faint sparks flickered around her fingers.

Then they vanished.

"Not yet…" she muttered.

Ishaan took a step forward.

"If I don't do something…"

His body tensed.

The ground beneath his foot cracked slightly.

That power was coming again.

The unstable boy raised his arm.

Energy gathered violently around it.

He was about to attack.

Ishaan moved.

Faster than before.

But before he could reach him, the classroom door burst open.

"Enough."

The voice was calm.

But powerful enough to silence everything.

An awakened officer stepped inside.

In an instant, he moved.

A blur.

He reached the boy before anyone could react.

A precise strike landed.

Not to harm.

But to stop.

The unstable energy shattered instantly.

The boy collapsed to the floor, unconscious.

Silence filled the classroom.

Heavy.

Unshaken.

No one spoke.

The officer stood straight.

Calm.

Controlled.

"Medical team. Now."

His voice was firm.

Footsteps rushed in from outside.

Ishaan stood still.

His heart slowly calming.

That feeling inside him faded again.

Incomplete.

Interrupted.

The officer's gaze moved ac

ross the room.

Observing.

Checking.

Then for a brief moment, his eyes stopped on Ishaan.

Just a second longer than normal.

As if he noticed something.

Then he looked away.

"All of you, remain where you are."

Minutes later, the situation was under control.

But the atmosphere had completely changed.

The excitement from before was gone.

Only fear remained.

Kabir let out a long breath.

"That… was not normal."

Aisha nodded slightly.

"That's what happens when someone awakens without control."

Anaya looked shaken.

"He looked so scared…"

Ishaan didn't respond.

He stared at his hand.

That moment replayed in his mind.

He was about to act.

To move.

To help.

"I could have done something…"

His voice was low.

Almost a whisper.

Kabir looked at him.

"Or you could have made things worse."

Aisha added calmly,

"You don't even understand your power yet."

Anaya spoke softly,

"But you still wanted to help."

Ishaan clenched his fist.

This time, there was no doubt.

It wasn't a fluke.

It was real.

And it was dangerous.

Outside the classroom, more officers had arrived.

The situation was being handled seriously.

Ishaan looked out the window.

The sky was clear.

Peaceful.

Unchanged.

But he knew the truth.

Everything had changed.

And if he didn't learn to control it…

He could become just as dangerous.

Outside, in the corridor, an officer spoke quietly into a communicator.

"We may have another one."

A short pause.

"Yeah… I felt it too."
