NEXT MORNING
INSIDE THE ROYAL PALACE THE GRAND DRESSING HALL
ZAVIER
The palace had officially lost control, not quietly. Not gradually, completely. Servants rushed through hallways carrying flowers, ribbons, gold threaded fabric, ceremonial candles, documents, jewelry, and enough decorations to blind an entire kingdom.
"I THINK THE WALLS ARE SHIMMERING." Riko whispered dramatically.
"That is because everything contains gold." Ben replied.
"I ACCEPT EXPENSIVE PANIC." Riko nodded.
"You would." Leo muttered.
And in the center of that disaster was me. Again.
"This has too many layers." I muttered as Ina adjusted the outer coat for the fourth time.
"It has exactly enough layers." Ina replied.
"It weighs more than me." I argued.
"Royal dignity is heavy." She said calmly.
"I reject royal dignity." I sighed.
"You are wearing it anyway." She replied instantly.
"I hate this conversation."I sighed.
"I know."Adam said.
