INSIDE THE ROYAL HEALER'S CHAMBERS

The healer looked tired the moment we entered, not surprised, not alarmed. Tired like she had already accepted that my existence personally created medical paperwork.
"Again?" She asked slowly.
"I OBJECT TO THAT GREETING." I muttered from Adam's arms.
"You fainted into breakfast."Adam said.
"The breakfast escalated first."I said.
"You lost consciousness near an omelet."Adam said.
"The omelet was suspicious."I said.
Adam did not put me down immediately. Of course, he didn't. He still held me like if he relaxed for even one second I might disappear into another medical crisis.
"Adam." The healer said calmly.
"No."I said.
"You need to put him on the bed."The healer said.
"Fine."Adam said.
I was lowered carefully onto the examination bed while Adam stayed directly beside me anyway, one hand still around my wrist like he was checking if I remained alive every three seconds.
"This is excessive." I sighed.
