Pregnancy was fake, not emotionally fake, physically fake, spiritually fake because there was absolutely no way the human body was designed like this on purpose. I stared at the cup of tea in front of me with deep personal betrayal.
"It smells aggressive."I said.
Adam looked up immediately from the stack of royal documents he had been pretending to read for the last twenty minutes. The important word being pretending because ever since the healer confirmed the pregnancy, Adam had developed a terrifying condition called 'Overprotective Royal Alpha Syndrome. Symptoms included: following me everywhere, watching me breathe, suspiciously glaring at furniture, threatening servants emotionally for bringing tea too hot and carrying me every time I blinked too slowly.
"It is mint tea." Adam said carefully.
"That sounds like propaganda." I said.
"You said that about soup yesterday."Adam said.
