Devara slowly opened the door and stepped into the chamber.
Gandhari was resting comfortably on the bed, with a few attendants standing nearby.
The moment she noticed him, she tried to sit up.
"Don't."
Devara immediately walked toward her and gently placed both hands on her shoulders, stopping her before she could put any strain on herself.
"You don't have to get up for me,"
he said with a warm smile.
"From now on, you are not allowed to strain yourself unnecessarily."
Gandhari looked at him with a small smile.
"I am pregnant, Devara, not made of glass."
"I know."
He bent down and pressed a gentle kiss against her forehead.
