She cracked one eye open.
Two faces hovered inches from hers.

Green eyes and red eyes staring at her with the intensity of serial killers studying their next victim. Noses practically touching hers. Not blinking. Just... watching.
"AAAAAAHHHHH!"
The scream tore out of her throat.
Pure, undiluted terror.
She flailed backward so hard she nearly rolled off the furs, limbs tangling, heart jackhammering against her ribs.
Both chiefs jerked back like they'd been electrocuted.
