A flash of coldness flickered in Madame Gao's eyes, but it vanished as quickly as it appeared. She maintained her friendly smile and replied, "You must be joking, sir. This is merely a branch of The Hand. What secrets could there be?"
"Oh? Is that so?"
Lin Feng nodded slightly as if he believed her. But then, he dropped a bombshell. "But I heard rumors that the legendary Dragon Bone is buried here. That's something even K'un-Lun would regard as a supreme treasure. Surely such rumors aren't just empty air?"
Hearing this, Madame Gao fell completely silent. She knew now that Lin Feng had not come in peace. While she was loath to spark a conflict and risk provoking such a mysterious entity, the importance of the Dragon Bone was absolute. It could not be lost!
Moreover, this man knew of K'un-Lun and was of Asian descent. Could he be an enforcer sent by K'un-Lun to hunt them down?
At that thought, her murderous intent became irrepressible. No matter the cost, she could not allow anyone else to lay a finger on the Dragon Bone. Lin Feng and Daredevil had to die here today.
"I think you're being a bit too aggressive, sir," Madame Gao said, her face darkening. Her voice turned heavy. "This is the territory of The Hand. Since you've come uninvited, aren't you worried you might never leave?"

As the threat hung in the air, the ninjas drew their weapons. They were a coiled spring, waiting only for her command to strike. Outnumbered, Daredevil gripped his blind cane tightly, remaining dutifully in his defensive stance. He knew exactly what his mysterious boss was capable of! A mere Madame Gao was nothing to him.
"You know my identity isn't simple, yet you still dare to act this way? Truly fitting for one of the Five Fingers of The Hand," Lin Feng said, shaking his head. He didn't bother addressing her threat. He simply looked at Daredevil and ordered, "Go ahead. I'll leave this old hag to you."
"Yes, Boss!"
Daredevil moved like a thunderbolt, lunging toward Madame Gao!
At the same time, the moment Lin Feng's command fell, the surrounding ninjas were systematically wiped out by the Shadow Khan. The shadows themselves seemed to rise up and swallow them.
"Bastard! You go too far!!"
Madame Gao's face twisted in horror. The Shadow Khan were too eerie! Even though she was a woman who had seen a thousand deaths, these dark, distorted monsters made her skin crawl. But with Daredevil closing in, she didn't have time to be shocked.

In a fit of desperation, Madame Gao struck back. Despite her hunched back, her movements were incredibly agile. With a swift blur, she dodged Daredevil's strike and swung her cane out like a viper's tongue!
The strike was so powerful it created a localized sonic boom.

Cane met cane with the sound of grinding steel. The two were instantly locked in a fierce exchange of blows.
Lin Feng didn't give them a second glance. He walked to the edge of the steel platform and looked down at the panicked crowd below.
"Humans... they're just not as reliable as the Shadow Khan," Lin Feng muttered to himself. With a single thought, a massive army of Shadow Ninjas crawled out from the darkness.
They were a dense, silent legion. They immediately began dragging the human workers into the Shadow Realm, and then, they took over the excavation equipment themselves. Under Lin Feng's mental guidance, the efficiency of the Shadow Khan was several times higher than that of the humans.
Lin Feng nodded in satisfaction. "Now this is more like it! Don't you agree, Madame Gao?"
He turned to look at the old woman, who was currently being suppressed by Daredevil. Perhaps out of fear of Lin Feng, she wasn't able to focus entirely on the fight. She didn't realize that Lin Feng didn't even consider her a threat. If he weren't hoping to trigger a "Famous Scene" notification, she would have been dead long ago.
"Curse you!!"
Finding herself at a disadvantage, Gao's expression shifted between rage and terror. She was horrified by Lin Feng's bizarre methods. Knowing that Kingpin was dead and Daredevil was willingly serving this man, she realized she was likely facing her own end.

Daredevil seized an opening as Gao hesitated. His cane pierced her left shoulder, and crimson blood began to flow. The searing pain forced her to make an immediate decision.
"Don't kill me! I am willing to offer the entirety of The Hand to you! Please, Lord Iron Fist, have mercy!"
Madame Gao collapsed to her knees with a heavy thud. Daredevil immediately stayed his hand and looked toward Lin Feng, seeking further instructions.
"Iron Fist?"
Lin Feng looked at Madame Gao with genuine amusement. But then he shook his head. "You have the wrong person. I know of K'un-Lun's existence, but I have no connection to them."
"What?!"
Madame Gao was stunned. Those who knew of K'un-Lun were few and far between. Lin Feng looked to be barely thirty; if he wasn't from K'un-Lun, how did he know about them? Furthermore, his "non-human" methods left her absolutely terrified.
"What? You don't believe me?"
Lin Feng didn't care about her doubt. He spoke with an authority that brooked no argument. "Tell me. How much do you know about the Dragon Bone and K'un-Lun? Do that, and perhaps I'll spare your life."
The system had yet to prompt him for a "Famous Scene" check-in, so Lin Feng decided to stop worrying about it for a moment and focus on the information.But from Madame Gao's mouth, he might just gain some unexpected harvest.
"This..."
Madame Gao was filled with shock and uncertainty. But after only a moment's hesitation, she lowered her head humbly and spoke the truth.
"Reporting to the Lord... I was once a disciple of K'un-Lun!"
"Later, because I coveted the K'un-Lun sacred relic, the Dragon Bone, I conspired with several others to steal it. We fled K'un-Lun and hid in Japan!"
