Mayuka: "Alright, my lord, I will tell you what I know about our king, Barderos, the Demon King, the highest and most powerful demon in this world."
Kaiser: "I am excited to know about him, even if only a little."
Mayuka: "None of us knows how our lord Barderos appeared, but as it is known since a very long time, more than a thousand years ago, only humans and living creatures, including animals, lived in this world. The world was peaceful back then, but after that, humans became corrupted on earth, and wars between nations increased. As it is told among humans, demons were formed from the evil of humans, their dark thoughts, and their instinct to kill each other."
"Our instinct is to kill humanity and control it, just like the nobles in the human world, who enslave the weak and spread poverty to make themselves beings of higher value."
"In a time where corruption and evil increased, our lord Barderos appeared to become the king of that evil and the supreme controller of it. He appeared to create balance in the world, the balance of evil, and to be the justice between humans and demons. Barderos was the first demon to appear and the highest."
"After that, other human-like creatures started appearing in the human world. At that time, our lord was the strongest being. He became the king of the world and ruled half of it."
"Our lord had a human face and body like you, Kaiser, but his evil and hatred toward the world were the strongest among demons. No one knows what happened in the past of our lord Barderos to make him hate humanity so much. All we knew is that no one reached his level of hatred."
"The capital of the kingdom of Barderos in this world was Laionis. It was always his favorite. He always told us that it was the source of evil in the world. There, he felt a great evil aura among humans and beneath it, but it was not his home when he was human."
Kaiser: "So Barderios was like me, a human who turned into a superior demonic being?"
Mayuka: "Yes, after the appearance of our lord Barderios, he ruled the world, including humans and demons. Humans became creatures that serve demons. They worked for us, brought us food, provided money, trade, clothes, everything became owned by demons."
"There was a balance in the world between humans and demons, but after the shedding of millions of human blood, it was truly an enjoyable feeling. I always felt a great feeling when I saw humans trembling in fear of our lord. All humans trembled when hearing about him."
Kaiser: "Then how was Barderos defeated if he had such power while ruling the world? Did humans resist him strongly?"
Mayuka: "Our lord Barderos had a great aura with unmatched power, but his weakness at that time, when he appeared and ruled, was that he could not go out during the day. He only went out for war at night to fight kingdoms that refused to submit. He tried to find a solution to this problem, even though it did not stop him from ruling half the world."
Kaiser: "What would happen to him if he went out during the day?"
Mayuka: "The sun would burn him and he would die forever, but after more than 500 years of ruling, he found a solution. He sealed half of his power into a legendary sword that once belonged to a king who they say ruled the whole world. I cannot believe that a human once ruled the world and surpassed our lord, but it remains a legend."
"Our lord sealed half of his dark power into that sword, and after that he became able to go out during the day."
Kaiser: "Really, didn't that cause him a problem since he lost half his power? And where is that sword now?"
Mayuka: "No, our lord's power is great, and no one could kill him even after losing half his power. As for the sword, no one knows where it is."
Kaiser: "Then who defeated Barderos and sealed you in this world?"
Mayuka: "It is that cursed one, Markenius, the only human who was able to stand against our great king."
Kaiser: "Who is this person?"
Mayuka: "He is Markenius Valdorin, one of the ancestors of the Kingdom of Laionis. They say he is the only king accepted by the power of the Ring. Do you remember when I told you that our lord preferred Laionis as the capital of his kingdoms because he felt a great evil force in the kingdom and beneath it, and he thought it was because of the hatred and evil of humans toward each other?"
Kaiser: "Yes, I remember that."
Mayoka: "We were wrong. Beneath this world, there was a ring that no one knew about — the Ring of the Heart of the World's Balance. A ring that humans believe is the reason evil was eradicated from the world and it was purified from demons. But our Lord believes the opposite — that it is the reason for our existence as demons. That ring was the greatest source of evil in this world, a ring that shook the entire world, a ring from which everything began.
