The fight started with Bakugo propelling himself towards me. I slipped backwards and appeared behind him.
Unfortunately I was predicted.
"DIE!!"
I took a blast to the face and was sent flying.
'Owowowowow..'
I slowly stood back up to see Bakugo lurking with his hands dropped low.
"You're going to have to do better than that, you damn bastard."
'Do something unexpected.'
My hard landing had caused debris to form which I had quickly pocketed
I jumped down and slipped right out of Bakugo's head.
He turned upwards quickly. "You can only teleport to where your hands are aiming! CAN'T YOU!!"
He let of a large explosion, however I had angled myself awkwardly and managed to slip into Bakugo's leg, my eyes were closed.
Listening closely, I could detect Bakugo's figure through the smokescreen that had been generated.
I threw my debris to the opposite side of where I was and slipped in front of Bakugo.
A large explosion went off where the sound of the debris clattered, and Bakugo realised that this was a distraction.
He turned only to be greeted with a fist to the stomach.
I then bent and hooked my leg around his, pulling him into a headbutt.
After regaining his bearings he let out an attack where I once was with his left hand.
I was already above him but I felt something touching my stomach, it was Bakugo's right hand.
'Shit.'
I took a blast straight to the chest and was sent flying upwards.
'The hell is this battle IQ?!'
To the viewers all they had seen was a huge smokescreen with little blast lighting up the area from time to time. However now, now they saw my small body go flying into the air.
Then a huge explosion went off from the stage, it was Bakugo who had sent himself flying to greet me mid air.
"YOU ALSO NEED A PHYSICAL SURFACE!!"
He screamed and handed me a small blast to the face.
It burned me but didn't send me any higher.
Bakugo followed this momentum with an explosion behind himself, propelling him towards my falling body, allowing him to grab me by the legs and send me flying down.
'DAMN IT! DAMN IT!'
Everything hurt as I tumbled downwards, three seconds until impact.
My intelligence buff went into overdrive.
'Ah.'
Two seconds until impact.
'The other warper, they didn't need a physical surface, but why? Is it due to their gas? That gives them a physical thing to place… maybe?'
Impact. I held out my arms behind me and placed a portal, landing on the opposite side of the falling Bakugo.
I then let myself hit the concrete. The slip had killed most of my momentum, allowing for me to not get hurt that bad.
'Think, quirk, portals, physical surf- physical surface?'
Bakugo landed down with a couple explosions.
"It's time to get serious." He growled.
'My Smurfing technique… that creates a physical portal that I can shoot.'
Bakugo lunged forward before sending me flying with an explosion.
"FIGHT BACK DAMMIT!!" He was starting to get annoyed.
I landed hard, and struggled to get up.
I used the technique to pull out a portal, but I didn't shoot it, I pushed and pulled, stretching it into an oval.
I thought to the feeling in my hands, and overlayed it with a connected exit portal.
I stood up to see Bakugo racing towards me.
A smile spread across my face as Bakugo released an explosion point blank.
Then, the explosion that Bakugo had just let off, was seemingly swallowed and came from Bakugo's own chest, sending him flying back.
Instead of throwing my portal, I spread it out. Across the air itself, connected by my hands.
'Okay, this is new.'
I threw the portal like a frisbee, making it land directly in front of Bakugo. Maintaining the portal through concentration, I ran and leaped far into the air.
While at the peak of my jump, I stretched out another portal before me and let myself fall through.
I slipped out at the place my other portal had landed and rose out of the ground, punching Bakugo square in the jaw.
Even though Bakugo's head was unable to see me, his hands still rose up and hit me with a blast. I curled into a ball and took the brunt with my feet before getting sent backwards.
'My shoe is gone…'
My stamina was going to approach its limits soon. The injuries were stacking up now.
After landing I spread out another gate a threw it at Bakugo.
It hit him square in the chest and actually harmed him.
It had gained actual mass, and once it had hit Bakugo it lay there, dormant.
While Bakugo was kneeling over, I stretch out a portal and enveloped myself into it.
It looked like the air itself had swallowed me.
I then jumped out of the portal and grabbed Bakugo by the shoulders, bringing my knee to his face.
This dazed Bakugo as I threw a portal high into the air and concentrated, stopping it about 10 metres directly above us.
I pulled my body into Bakugo's head and appeared above him.
I quickly stretched another portal out as Bakugo let off a huge explosion.
I had slipped once again, and with my continued momentum, came out below Bakugo with a flying kick to his chest.
This sent Bakugo flying towards the edge of the arena where I tried to follow up with a teleport into push.
Bakugo then grabbed me by the arms, and threw me down, straight over his head and I was slammed down, right into the out of bounds.
He hadn't let go until the last second, making it so I couldn't place a portal to keep myself in the arena.
My ears rang as I got up and looked at a beaten up Bakugo.
'Geez, that guy is a monster. It's too bad I couldn't use my gear.'
I walked away to visit Recovery Girl.

I was covered in bandages but I managed to make it back to a viewing platform, not with class 1-A however, but with Nezu.
"Don't want to be interrogated by your peers?"
"Yeah… so when's the next fight?"
"Bakugo against Todoroki is the next fight…"
A/N: clear things up, his new power is to throw and stop portals, allowing them to stand on the air. He will need to connect them to an exit portal otherwise it's just a somewhat invisible wall.
