Chapter 35 - Chapter 35: Rams, Say Goodbye to Your Little Brother!

While Rams was unconscious, Roman led his men to find a cabin following that woman's instructions.

It stank inside, filled with flayed people hanging, and tables covered with peeled skins.

Since they were flayed alive without bloodletting, each body was covered in a layer of dark red slime.

[Written here, I hope readers remember our domain wkan.com, it's super worry-free]

Most were women; one didn't need to think to know they were killed after being raped by Rams.

Roman had the soldiers take down the corpses and transport them along with the human skins to the main force.

By Long Lake, a public trial platform had been set up, and Rams was held upon it.

When Roman returned with his men, they displayed the corpses and skins one by one to show Rams's crimes.

Many soldiers couldn't help but vomit during this; Fili even turned pale and vomited clear water.

The surviving woman cried immediately upon seeing the skins and recounted how Rams and his lackeys tortured them.

With ironclad evidence, the public trial quickly reached a verdict: Rams was to be executed.

Roman said something to the executioners; they grinned and bowed: "Don't worry, Lord Roman, I'll make sure this beast feels the victims' pain!"

Rams barked before being dragged away, claiming Roose Bolton would kill Roman.

Roman sneered; if Roose Bolton really cared about Rams, he wouldn't have sent a "Reek" as a Servant.

That Reek had just been speared to death by Harrenhal's troops; it was said ordinary flames couldn't burn his body clean, and only White Flame finally incinerated the stench.

The executioner tied a rope to Rams's hands and the other end to a warhorse, then galloped away into the depths of the Wolfswood.

The horse dragged Rams around Long Lake for a distance; the gravel on the ground cut his body like countless blades.

Soon, Rams's clothes were rags, and the flesh on his chest and back was ground beyond recognition.

Rams's screams even startled the birds in the woods, but everyone felt it was well done.

Amidst the screams, they held a cremation for the victims; the white dragonflame scorched the remains and completely dispersed the vengeful spirits.

The executioner looked at Rams behind him and felt the time was right; they dragged Rams into the woods.

After ensuring no one or ravens were around, they fixed Rams to a large tree.

"Lord Roman said a beast like you isn't human anymore; we should treat you like a beast and do as we please."

"It just so happens we saw a picture book recently; we have some good ideas for you to experience."

The executioner laughed while rummaging for tools.

"Hammer? No creativity."

"Saw? Too common."

"Needle? Oh god, what can this thing do?"

The others couldn't wait and urged him to hurry.

After searching, the executioner finally got a handy tool: large pliers.

"Wow! I found it!"

The other executioners grinned playfully upon seeing the pliers; they scrambled to pull down Rams's pants.

"You, you can't do this! My father will kill you! You can't do this to me!"

"Can't?" The executioner flexed the handles. "Why didn't you think of the feelings of those innocents when you were torturing them? Now it's your turn and you can't take it?"

"I'm telling you, it's too late!"

The executioner opened the pliers wide and aimed at Rams's hot dog.

"Hehe, Rams! Say goodbye to your little brother!"

Crack!!!

A dull thud; Rams's hot dog was like a giant caterpillar stepped on, blood and unknown liquids splashing everywhere.

The executioner wasn't satisfied; he twisted the pliers half a turn and pulled out Rams's crushed hot dog.

But Rams had fainted; the executioner couldn't hear his thoughts.

"Tch, I wanted to make this guy repent, did he just faint?"

They then cut off Rams's head and burned his body with White Flame.

Rams's head and the skins he flayed would be sent to Winterfell; it depended on how Eddard planned to use the evidence.

Because Rams's actions seriously violated the laws of the North, Roose had to give an explanation; if he dared to challenge Roman, there would be much to say.

Some matters are best not put on the scale; if they aren't, anything goes, but once they are, even a thousand pounds won't hold the weight.

Roman felt exceptionally happy after seeing Rams's broken face; he patted his horse.

The sinner Rams Snow has been executed; let's hurry on our way to support the Nights Watch!

Suddenly, he was curious how they handled Rams: "How did you execute him? Hanging or beheading?"

The executioner recounted their method in detail, causing Roman's expression to shift; he wondered what kind of things these guys were reading.

Then, the group set out from Long Lake; without obstacles, the marching speed was much faster. After crossing the Last River, they soon emerged from the Wolfswood.

After various incidents, Harrenhal's supplies finally reached The Wall.

Facing The Wall, Roman and some recruits were seeing it for the first time and couldn't help but exclaim.

A glacial mountain range rose from the open plains; one had to admit Brandon the Builder indeed had skill.

"Tch! Why not popularize this kind of architectural magic? If I knew such convenient magic, I'd renovate the housing for the people of Harrenhal."

Hearing this, the soldiers under Roman felt moved; this was why they were willing to be loyal to Roman and the Hean Family.

After all, the Hean Family really treated them like human beings.

Facing the severe cold at The Wall, the people from Harrenhal put on winter clothes under the direction of experienced veterans.

Fili, beside Roman, was wrapped tightly and draped wool over Roman.

"Lord Roman, it's so cold now, you must wear some clothes!"

Roman was speechless; his set was warm enough, and he even had to use White Flame to vent excess heat, otherwise sweating would lead to freezing.

Finally, he could only rub Fili's head repeatedly and explain to her.

Fili was like a clingy Golden Retriever, always taking good care of Roman's daily life, but sometimes too enthusiastic, like being forced to have one's face licked by a large dog.

But it was with the help of those like Fili that Roman could proceed so smoothly until now, and they would surely face more storms together in the future.

Thinking of this, Roman's gaze at Fili softened, and he couldn't help but pinch the girl's cheek.

"Ugh~ Lord Roman, what are you doing?"

"Nothing, just thought you were cute, Fili, and couldn't help but want to tease you."

"But my face is really going to be deformed!"

After getting ready, the group finally arrived at Black Castle; this journey was truly exhausting.

In the original work, Robert took months to return from the North to King's Landing; who knows how he endured it.

Before Black Castle, the 997th Lord Commander of the Nights Watch, Jeor Mormont, was waiting for the people from Harrenhal.

The Lord Commander, known as the "Old Bear," was looking at the distant army with a strange expression.

He didn't know what Harrenhal wanted by bringing so many people this time.
