Well, I suppose it's an Assassin and not yet a Demoness.
He looked at Natalie and Sarah, who were expecting him to answer.
Sigh.
"Assassin is a Sequence 9. They are agile and precise, and can stealth themselves well in shadows and other environments. It enhances senses. They have two abilities—one being they can become weightless for a few moments, and the second is called Mighty Blow. It allows one attack that has incredible strength and precision."
"Its corresponding Sequence 8 is called Instigator. Other than enhancements to Sequence 9 traits, this sequence allows the Beyonder to know people, make them appear reliable to them, and intimidate them according to their desire."
With that, he stopped.
Sarah seemed to have heard and analyzed everything, while Natalie seemed lost in thought.
Natalie looked at Jace and asked, "What about Sequence 7?"
"It doesn't really matter. If it's a Sequence 7 of that pathway, you are better off staying away from them."
But Natalie just kept staring at him.
Jace didn't say anything and just raised an eyebrow at her.
But Natalie showed no change in her expression.
"I will pay for the information."
Jace rolled his eyes and answered.
"Sequence 7 is called Witch. They are good at divinations and anti-divinations. They can cast curses using your hair or blood, mirror substitution, special black flames, ice-related powers…"
Jace stopped and looked at both women's faces.
Sarah showed amazement, while Natalie had a look of confusion.
Jace continued.
"If a man consumes this potion, he will become a woman—and a pretty one at that."
After hearing this, Sarah's eyes widened in shock.
Natalie also showed a surprised expression.
"It's called the Demoness pathway," Jace said.
Natalie nodded in understanding, while Sarah, being a Spectator, had already reined in her thoughts.
After inquiring about the sequence information she had just received, Natalie got to the point.
Looking at Jace, she asked, "Do you know about Sequence 8 of the Spectator pathway and its formula?"
Jace had expected this. As a Seer, he figured Sarah would digest the potion quickly and ask for the next formula.
Though he did wonder what the relationship between Natalie and Sarah was—they didn't look like sisters.
Perhaps they were friends.
"The Sequence 8 is called Telepathist. The Beyonder can read surface thoughts of people and even guide them to a certain extent. There are some other enhancements as well."
"And yes, I have the potion formula. It will cost 450 pounds," Jace said.
Natalie nodded in agreement.
Jace pulled out a diary and a pen he had and wrote down the formula:

After writing it, he tore off the page, folded it, and passed it to Natalie, who looked at it and then handed it to Sarah.
Sarah seemed a little pleased, knowing the abilities of a Telepathist and receiving the formula.
Natalie then looked at Jace and asked, "What do you know about Sequence 6 of the Hunter pathway?"
At this point, he was really tired of this.
They were just asking questions, offering nothing in return.
Not that they could give him anything he wanted.
"Sequence 6 is called Conspirer," he said, then proceeded to explain the basic abilities.
"I could get the formula for you, but it would take a few months."
He knew all the formulas of the Hunter and Demoness pathways, as he had read the sequel of the book.
But he couldn't show that he knew everything like some "mystic world encyclopedia."
Natalie nodded and prepared the transaction amount, then handed Jace 750 pounds.
It made Jace quite ecstatic to see that he was rich once more.
After completing the transaction, the room turned silent and a little awkward.
Natalie looked at Sarah, and Sarah nodded.
Natalie then turned to Jace.
"We would like to introduce you to someone."
"Mm? Who?" Jace asked.
Natalie said slowly,
"Her name is Madam Catherine Webbers. She would like to have a relationship with you."
