With a slight princess like bow, I walked down the stage.
All the audience were looking at me with wonder in their eyes.
Just as I sat down in my seat, the three judges seemed to have finished their analysis and presented the results.
Ms. Meri stood up and went on stage. Adjusted her glasses as she took the mic with her hand.
Ms. Meri looked at us for a moment before her eyes met mine, I could see some kind of shine in them.
"All of your performance have been very good. But as we advertised we'll be signing only one of you today. As for rest of you please don't be let down. All of you shown some promise."
As Ms. Meri said this, all the eyes turned towards me. As if there is no suspense at all about who was selected.
"Yes, you guessed it correctly, the one we'll be signing is indeed her, miss please follow me to previous room." Ms. Meri stated the obvious, and rest of the girls applauded, they became my fans after hearing my song on the spot, and they were actually happy seeing me succeed.
I made it.
I got up from my seat and made my way towards the previous room we were in.
Ms. Meri couldn't help but glance at me, my voice, talent, charisma and even my looks were something extremely rarely seen even among elite evidol. And the song I sang was a original, it makes me even more of an talent. Meri couldn't imagine the true potential of the black haired girl.
In the end her objective was simple, she needed to secure me girl at any cost.
Meri cleared her throat and presented the contact to Valerie.
"According to the contract, DeviMuse agency will get you jobs while providing lessons, backstage support, and anything you need to become a real star, you can look over contact for more details."
As she said this Meri begin to observe Valerie, who began to read the contents of the contract and eventually stopped.
"So, the contact just means that I can't work for other companies while it's in effect. I can do whatever I want to do without working for other companies. Right?"
"Yes, roughly and I will be your agent, to help you manage you time better and improve yourself" Meri continued persuading me.
"And for joining the company, we will give you 80% of advertisement deals, such as advertising a brand in your name, you will also get a percentage from your future album sales." Ms. Meri continued to go on about the details.
"Okay, the contract seems good enough" The contract was quite slack, but it might be because putting a leash on a sinfull devil was a bad idea.
I singed my name on the contract, and it burned in blue flames.
'I literally made deal with devil' I though to myself amusingly.
"Thank You, Valerie. I hope for a pleasant corporation from now on" Meri's expression seemed bright with my acceptance.
After signing the contract, Meri showed me around the company building, from dormitories, to dining rooms to recording rooms, music room, combat training room, auditoriums, gyms, spas and even sauna and hot springs. I have all these things at home and but it's good to know company is well equipped and not shabby.
The place was huge, and various people, including singers, models, dancers, filled the space. They even had training programs to turn promising candidates in to celebrities in multiple fields.
The company indeed looked wealthy and promising.
Meri assigned me to a dormitory.
I accepted it.
I had no plan living there, but it's good to have my own place here, I can put my things here for easy access.
We exchanged contact information, She handed me keys before departing.
I glanced at bronze key in my hand, unlocked the door and went in. The room itself was a private suite, quite luxurious.
The moment I steped inside, I was greeted by a sense of openness and calm. Soft ambient lighting, high ceilings, and carefully chosen décor create an atmosphere of quiet sophistication.
The living room is tastefully furnished with plush sofas, velvet armchairs, and a sleek coffee table. A large flat-screen TV, curated artwork. Everything is arranged to invite relaxation.
The bedroom features a king-sized bed, soft pillows, a plush duvet. Lighting is warm and adjustable, and blackout curtains ensure perfect rest. The design balances elegance with coziness, making it feel indulgent yet inviting.
The bathroom resembles a private spa. Marble finishes, a deep soaking tub, a rainfall shower, and dual vanities are standard. Premium toiletries, fluffy towels, and bathrobes add to the sense of indulgence.
It also included, a fully stocked wine rack, dressing area, private balcony and a dining space with room service access.
