Wang Chen frowned slightly.
"I think I heard it too," he whispered. "The sound came from the passage on the right. Stay behind me. Let's move forward and check."
Liu Qiang nodded nervously and followed closely behind him, his steps cautious.
The two advanced slowly through the dim tunnel. After a short distance, Wang Chen suddenly raised his hand and made a silent gesture.
Stop.
From the corridor ahead came the sound of struggling. A girl's voice. Soft sobbing mixed with desperate resistance echoed through the cave.
Liu Qiang stretched his neck forward to listen.
"That doesn't sound like Goddess Liu Ningning," he whispered.
Wang Chen lowered his voice. "Quiet. Goblins have very sharp hearing."
Up ahead, several figures appeared in the torchlight.
Four or five goblins, each around Level 10, were carrying a tightly bound girl.
Wang Chen leaned against the stone wall and slowly peeked around the corner.
Then he froze.
What he saw nearly made his blood rush to his head.
The girl being carried was Lian Yunxi. Her clothes were torn and barely covering her body. She struggled desperately against the ropes binding her.
Each movement revealed flashes of pale skin and the elegant curves of her figure.

Meanwhile the girl's voice grew louder.

Wang Chen asked quietly, "Can you tell who she is?"
"Does she have any features?"
Wang Chen tightened his grip over Liu Qiang's eyes while continuing to observe carefully.
"Her figure is... very good. Actually, too good. Especially the front..."
Liu Qiang immediately said, "Then I know! That must be Lian Yunxi, the best friend of Goddess Liu Ningning!"

But Wang Chen ignored her completely and continued walking forward.

She stared at Wang Chen with her mouth wide open.

They had no attack power.

The remaining goblins finally reacted and roared as they rushed toward Wang Chen.
"Careful!" Lian Yunxi shouted instinctively.
