Chapter 31 - Final Chapter The Last Dream

I read Meera's message again.

"I think… it's starting again."

For a moment, fear returned.

But this time—

It didn't stay.

Because something felt different.

That night, I slept calmly.

No questions.

No worry.

The dream came again.

The same open field.

Soft fog.

Quiet air.

The other me stood there.

"You're not afraid," she said.

The fog slowly cleared.

The distant shadow faded away.

"There will always be dreams," she said gently.

"Some will be yours."

"I help," I whispered.

She nodded.

The field filled with warm light.

The other me slowly faded.

"Is this goodbye?" I asked.

"No," she replied softly.

"This is balance."

The light disappeared.

I woke up peacefully.

No fear.

No tension.

Just calm.

Days passed.

No strange dreams returned.

Meera never heard footsteps again.

Life moved forward.

Naturally.

Quietly.

Sometimes—

I still looked at the sky before sleeping.

Not expecting anything.

Just remembering.

Because dreams don't always follow us.

Sometimes—

They simply guide us.

And when their purpose ends—

They leave us stronger.

I closed my eyes that night.

And for the first time—

There were no dreams at all.

Only deep, peaceful sleep.

And that was enough
