Melody leaned back, unable to hold eye contact. "Err..."
Lukas chuckled, raising his hand to lift her chin until she had no choice but to look him in the eye.
"Did I ever tell you that you're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen?" He asked, voice low.
"No." She whispered. "No, you haven't."

"Where are you going?" Melody asked, frowning.
"Have you forgotten? I'm heading to the E-rank dungeon." He smiled at her. "I won't be long. You keep the house safe for me, okay?"
"Okay." She said, picking at her food. "Don't be long."
"If you're bored, you can stroll around the neighborhood." He said, leaning down to give her a kiss on the forehead. "See you later."
And with that, he left the house.
