Chapter 19 - Guilds on the Hunt

"That Taoist is so badass, he actually dared to reject that person?"

"Who is that? I saw the 'Gods' prefix in front of his name. Is he from the Gods Guild?"

"More than that, that's the son of the Gods Guild's leader."

"That's the guy who beat a classmate to death and ended up perfectly fine!"

"That Taoist is probably in trouble. He offended him; look at how his face has changed."

"But seriously, how much Agility did that Taoist add? I'd say he has at least seventy or eighty Agility points, right?"

"Who knows? But a Taoist adding Agility is definitely an idiot!"

"True. Besides an idiot, who else would dare to reject someone from the Gods Guild?"

Watching Lucien's departing back, Dominic Thorne's face turned ashen.

He wanted to stop him, but the other's speed was so fast he couldn't react in time.

Dominic Thorne didn't hear the crowd's chatter.

"Does any of you know or have information on the player 'Falling into the Human World' who cleared the Hell difficulty dungeon?"

"If anyone has information on Falling into the Human World, we are willing to reward five hundred gold coins. If you can pull them into our Gods Guild, we will give one thousand gold coins."

However, everyone just looked at each other.

They were truly tempted by such a large sum of gold.

They also knew that Falling into the Human World was indeed in their Novice Village.

But all this time, no one had any idea who Falling into the Human World was!

They didn't have any investigative skills, and they hadn't heard of anyone getting into a conflict with Falling into the Human World.

Seeing that no one knew anything about Falling into the Human World, Dominic Thorne frowned and logged off without a word.

Seeing Dominic Thorne log off, a middle-aged man in his forties nearby who was looking at his phone immediately stood up.

"Young Master, why did you log off so early today?" asked Uncle Ben.

Dominic Thorne said with a gloomy face, "Uncle Ben, help me investigate someone!"

Seeing his young master's somber expression, Uncle Ben also turned serious. "Who?"

"I don't know his name, only that he's a Taoist. I've already sent his in-game avatar to the chat page." [The game has a recording function.]

He didn't know what his young master had encountered in the game.

But from the look of things, it wasn't anything good.

This was unavoidable; once you left the Novice Village, it was very hard to go back.

And almost all members of their Gods Guild were already level ten or higher.

Only a few dozen members hadn't reached level ten yet.

But with so many Novice Villages, it was impossible for everyone to be assigned to the same one.

So, even Dominic Thorne could only level up steadily on his own while in the Novice Village.

Uncle Ben nodded to indicate he understood.

"Young Master, do you know anything about the situation regarding Falling into the Human World?"

Dominic Thorne shook his head and said, "No. I shouted in the novice area, but the person seems to be a lone wolf; no players have any news about that guy."

Hearing this, Uncle Ben also frowned.

Although he was just a small butler, he was also a core member of the Gods Guild.

They had a bad premonition about the sudden appearance of Falling into the Human World.

Others might not know the difficulty of a Hell dungeon, but they knew it all too well.

In the five years since the game opened, the Gods Guild had organized countless groups to try and clear Hell difficulty dungeons.

But in those five years, they hadn't cleared a Hell difficulty dungeon once; at most, they only reached the BOSS.

Even for a level ten-plus dungeon, they invested massive amounts of manpower and energy, specifically choosing players with A-Rank Talents or higher and equipping them entirely in silver equipment, yet they still couldn't clear Hell difficulty.

Now, Falling into the Human World had cleared a Hell difficulty dungeon alone.

This meant the other party's talent was definitely SSS-Rank.

Only an SSS-Rank Talent could possibly clear a Hell difficulty dungeon.

They were deeply wary of an SSS-Rank player hiding in the shadows.

SSS-Rank players were simply too monstrous; their combat power was almost invincible among those of the same level.

Such a person must either be firmly held in one's own hands or taken out early while they were still weak.

They absolutely could not let the other party grow. Once an SSS-Rank player matured, it would be disastrous for an organization like theirs.

After all, the cake was only so big, and there were already nine major powers within the Nine Provinces sharing it.

If another one appeared, as long as they had the intention to create a faction, a piece of the cake would inevitably have to be given to them.

No organization was willing to see an SSS-Rank Talent player grow up.

Lucien was still very satisfied with the zombie's attributes.

That Blood Absorption also had a hidden function: by drinking the blood of monsters with powerful bloodlines, there was a chance for the zombie to evolve.

But for now, these zombies were perfectly suited to act as meat shields.

And he now possessed a full six of these high-attribute zombies.

Adding the ability to Summon Goblin Warriors and Mages, for a total of eight summons, he should be able to overturn even a purgatory difficulty dungeon!

Arriving at the entrance of the Goblin Forest dungeon, the players currently preparing to enter all stared at Lucien without blinking.

The six zombies following behind Lucien were truly terrifying.

However, Lucien ignored the crowd of players and entered the dungeon.

"Ding, it is detected that you have a Purgatory Pass in your backpack. Do you wish to enter the purgatory difficulty Goblin Forest?"

"Warning: purgatory difficulty is extremely dangerous. Please consider carefully!"

Ignoring the system's warning, he entered the dungeon directly.

As soon as he entered, he found that the situation here was vastly different from other difficulties.

The sky of the entire dungeon was blood-red, and the ground also appeared unusual, feeling very oppressive.

The insect chirps that could usually be heard were gone; it was silent without a single sound, making it feel very eerie.

And that pitch-black, strange forest was enough to make one's skin crawl.

At that moment, a Goblin Warrior drifted over.
