After Lebo, Jane, and Adam woke up, they got ready. Today was important—they were going to meet their trainer.
As they walked, Jane explained, "Our trainer also trained me to use my Uniqe."
Lebo looked curious. "What's his name?"
"Ronan," Jane said. "He was a soldier for 12 years for Orange Valley. He's one of the most honored people in the village."
Ams floated beside them. "Wait… Jane, what is your Uniqe? We haven't seen you use it."
Jane replied calmly, "My power is creating medical supplies."
Ams tilted its head. "Then how do you go on missions? Isn't that a support Uniqe?"
Lebo smiled. "You'll see what she can do in battle."
Adam looked surprised. "Wait—you actually fight too?"
Jane smirked a little. "When I can craft medical supplies… I can also craft poison and potions with side effects."
Ams blinked. "And how does that help?"
Without saying anything, Jane pulled her jacket slightly aside, revealing a belt filled with small bottles.
"I throw these," she said. "They release a dust. If the enemy breathes it in… they get the effect."
Lebo, Adam, and Ams all reacted at the same time.
"Woah… that's awesome!"
Ams and Adam both said, "You have an awesome sister!"
Lebo smiled proudly. "The best sister."
They got curious about the potions, so Jane handed them one.
"This one makes you taste strawberry."
They immediately tried it.
"Woah—this is actually good!" Adam said.
Ams bounced excitedly. "I like this!"
Jane quickly added, "Don't drink too much. It's mine—I use it when I want strawberry flavor."
"Okay," they said.
Soon, they arrived at the training dojo, where Ronan trained people to master their Uniqe without using weapons.
Lebo, Adam, and Ams stopped and looked around in surprise.
The dojo was clean, polished, and almost shining. The ground looked perfect, and everything felt… expensive.
Lebo whispered, "I bet Ronan drinks mint tea… because he's fancy."
They all started giggling.
They walked inside.
Ronan was there.
He looked clean, calm, and composed. He didn't look like a warrior—but something about him felt strong.
Lebo, Adam, and Ams rushed toward him.
"Did you go on missions?"
"Did you fight strong people?"
"Did you see crazy Uniqes?!"
Ronan raised his hand slightly.
"Woah, calm down, kids. Of course I did. But if you train well… I'll tell you everything."
They all got excited. "Okay!"
They waited while Ronan stepped away to prepare something.
Jane sat quietly, watching them.
Ams floated around impatiently.
"Why is he taking so long?" Ams said.
Lebo replied, "Maybe he's preparing something to test us."
Ams said, "I don't even have hands."
Adam smiled. "It'll be fine. You can still help."
Lebo crossed his arms. "I think he's going to watch us first… but let's see."
Finally, Ronan returned.
He was carrying pieces of wood.
"You will cut these," he said. "We will test your strength."
Lebo leaned toward Ams and Adam and whispered, "See? I was right."
Ronan looked at them seriously.
"First, tell me your Uniqes."
Lebo and Adam explained their powers.
Ronan then gave them a piece of Uniqerum ore and told them to touch it.
The ore reacted, showing their level of mastery.
After observing carefully, Ronan spoke.
"Lebo… your control is weak."
Lebo looked down slightly.
Ronan continued, "But that's normal. You have a fused Uniqe. It's harder to control."
He placed a hand on Lebo's shoulder.
"Don't worry. We will fix that."
Lebo looked up again.
"…How?"
Ronan gave a small smile.
"I'll teach you."
