"Nico Robin!"
Looking at Robin, who was surrounded on all sides, Radell stepped back, putting distance between himself and her. The enthusiasm from earlier vanished completely as he spoke expressionlessly:
"Even if I didn't sell you out now, you'd sell me out sooner or later, right? Of course, even if you wouldn't, I still have to take precautions. Most importantly… your bounty is just too tempting! Hahahaha…"
Hearing Radell's smug laughter, Robin showed neither anger nor rage.
Being betrayed—or betraying others—was something she had long grown numb to.
But not being angry didn't mean she would surrender without resistance.
Just as Radell was laughing triumphantly, Robin didn't hesitate for even a moment. Her Flower-Flower Fruit ability activated once again!
In the blink of an eye, two arms suddenly sprouted from Radell's shoulders as he laughed…
"Huh…?!"
"Nico Robin, you—"
Radell had never expected that, even under heavy encirclement, Robin would dare to strike.
At the very instant his face twisted in shock and he called out her name—
Crack!
A crisp sound rang out.
The next moment, Radell's voice stopped abruptly as his body collapsed stiffly to the ground!
Almost at the same time, Robin leaped into the air, broke through the encirclement, and smashed through a window to escape.
"Damn it!"
The armored middle-aged man hadn't expected Robin to escape under such circumstances. Furious, he roared:
"Chase her! Don't let Nico Robin get away!"
Bang! Bang! Bang!
As the crowd rushed out in pursuit, the bar quickly fell into a deathly silence.
"Phew…"
"That scared the hell out of me!!!"
Ross glanced at Arashi, who had remained calm from beginning to end, and said with lingering fear:
"Mr. Arashi, I didn't lie to you, right? Sig Town really is dangerous! You should leave this place quickly—this is not a good spot for traveling!"
"I think it's pretty nice."
Arashi withdrew his gaze from the window and casually picked up his glass.
He wasn't surprised at all that Nico Robin had escaped so easily. Someone who had survived alone since the age of eight, enduring countless betrayals, couldn't possibly lack intelligence or strength.
"Alright…"
Seeing that Arashi didn't take any of this seriously, Ross and Ximei stopped trying to persuade him and cautiously asked:
"Then… what should we do next?"
"Go out for a walk."
Before they could finish, Arashi stood up decisively, preparing to leave.
Tap tap tap!!!
Before he could even take a step, a synchronized series of footsteps suddenly echoed from outside the door.
Moments later, more than a dozen well-dressed men in suits and hats entered the bar in two neat lines, stopping beside the two syndicate members Robin had killed.
"The… the syndicate!"
Seeing the orderly group enter, Ximei and Ross's pupils shrank as they stammered:
"What… what is going on today?!"
"First the pirates and the guards leave, and now the syndicate shows up! Damn it, Sig Town is way too dangerous—I want to get out of this hellhole!"
Even Arashi hadn't expected the syndicate's main force to appear at this moment.
If that guy Capone Bege shows up too, this will get even more interesting.
And just as that thought crossed his mind, a short man wearing a hat and scarf, dressed in a suit, walked in leading the group.
Well then—it really was that short guy, Capone Bege.
Capone Bege—the boss who unified the West Blue's underworld.
A Mafia-Mafia Fruit user…
Alright, technically the Castle-Castle Fruit user!
"Godfather!"
The moment Capone Bege stepped through the door, the syndicate members standing on both sides called out in unison.
Bege didn't respond. He simply stared expressionlessly at the two subordinates lying on the ground.
Though he was only in his thirties, his face already bore the marks of time, making it easy to overlook his actual age. At first glance, he looked more like a weary, middle-aged man.
"Godfather!"
At that moment, a man who had just finished examining the two bodies stood up and said in a low voice:
"They're not completely dead yet."
"Oh."
Bege nodded, then calmly pulled out a pistol and fired at the two barely alive subordinates.
Bang. Bang.
As the gunshots echoed, Bege turned away without hesitation and said indifferently:
"Keeping useless trash alive is a waste of resources. Hmm… now they should be completely dead."
When Ross and Ximei heard that the two men weren't fully dead, they had thought Bege would save them.
Instead, he finished them off.
This was… just too brutal!
The two brothers once again felt the darkness and terror of this town, wishing they could leave immediately.
Just as they were mentally breaking down, Bege—who had turned to leave—suddenly tilted his head, his sharp gaze sweeping over Arashi and the others.
Then, he walked straight toward their booth.
"We… we've been noticed!"
"H-he's going to kill us!!"
Seeing Bege approaching, Ross and Ximei instinctively shrank back, their bodies trembling uncontrollably.
Arashi, however, didn't move. He calmly watched Bege approach.
In this chaotic West Blue, traveling as leisurely as in the East Blue was clearly impossible. Arashi had already realized that this journey wouldn't be peaceful.
Bege walked directly over, sat across from Arashi, adjusted his scarf, and lifted his head slightly—exuding the aura of a true godfather.
"First time in Sig Town? My apologies, this town is a bit chaotic. I hope you weren't frightened."
Seeing that Bege showed no intention of causing trouble, Arashi slowly sat down across from him, pushed the fruit platter on the table toward him, and smiled:
"Want some?"
"Oh?"
Bege glanced at the neatly arranged fruit platter, nodded slightly, then called out toward the bar:
"Bartender, bring a fresh platter!"
"Y-yes, Godfather!"
The bartender didn't dare delay and quickly brought over a new plate of fruit.
"A fruit platter alone isn't enough."
Bege raised his head again. "Bring your finest wine!"
"And some music," Arashi added.
"Right, right—can't forget the atmosphere!"
Bege nodded and snapped his fingers at the bartender. "Music…"
???
Sitting beside them, Ross and Ximei were completely dumbfounded, black lines practically forming on their foreheads. They stared at Arashi and Bege in utter confusion, not understanding what was happening—and not daring to ask!
At the same time, Arashi also had no idea what Bege was planning.
Just moments ago, he had coldly executed his own subordinates, and now he was sitting here chatting like an old friend reunited after years apart.
Still, as long as it didn't interfere with Arashi's travel experience, he was more than happy to go along with it.
If they could throw in a few rounds of rock-paper-scissors, that would be even better.
