Capone Bege wasn't here out of boredom, nor was he looking to stir up trouble.
From the moment he stepped into the bar, he had already noticed Arashi and his group.
With years of experience battling across the underworld, he could tell that Arashi was no ordinary person.
After all, a violent incident had just occurred here—everyone else had fled in fear, yet only Arashi and his two companions remained. Of course, the two beside him could be ignored entirely; they were even more useless than the two trash he had just executed!
And judging by Arashi's attire, Bege could tell he wasn't from the West Blue.
If he wasn't from the West Blue, yet could remain calm and composed through such chaos, then he clearly had an extraordinary background.
As the godfather of the West Blue's underworld, Bege naturally had to come over, greet him, and test the waters.
Of course, immediately starting a fight upon meeting wasn't Bege's style. Judging from his behavior in the original story, he was a typical calm and calculating man.
Music began to play, and fresh fruit along with fine wine was brought over.
"If this is your first time in Sig Town, then you may not be very familiar with me. So allow me to introduce myself."
Bege casually picked up a bottle and filled Arashi's glass to the brim before continuing:
"My name is Bege—Capone Bege! In the West Blue underworld, people like to call me the Godfather!"
"I'm Arashi."
Taking the glass, Arashi smiled.
"A traveler."
"A traveler?"
Bege's eyes lit up before realization dawned on him.
"Oh, I see! That ship at the port—the Traveler—is yours, isn't it? Being a traveler is quite a safe profession in this world. But don't worry—if you run into any trouble in the West Blue, you can always come to me!"
"I see."
Hearing this, Arashi finally understood.
This guy wasn't here to cause trouble—he was here to probe him. It perfectly matched Bege's personality. Before forming his pirate crew and setting sail, he was already the godfather of the West Blue underworld. And a godfather couldn't act like some street punk causing trouble everywhere—he had to maintain a certain level of prestige.
"Then I'll take you up on that, Bege."
After seeing through his intentions, Arashi raised his glass with a smile.
"Meeting is fate. Let's drink—after this, we're friends!"
Bege paused slightly, then burst into laughter.
"Right, right! A guest from afar is always welcome. After this drink, we're friends!"
Ross and Ximei, sitting to the side, couldn't keep up with the rhythm at all. Although the two seemed to be chatting happily, almost like host and guest enjoying each other's company, they didn't dare interrupt.
Only when they saw the two clink their glasses did the tension in their hearts ease slightly.
At that moment—
A syndicate member hurried over to Bege and reported anxiously:
"Godfather, she got away!"
"Hm?"
A cold glint flashed in Bege's eyes upon hearing the report, but he maintained his composure, casually waving his hand.
"Forget it. Robin has survived in the underworld for years—there's no way trash like you could catch her. Dismissed. Don't disturb me while I'm drinking with my traveler friend."
"Yes, Godfather!"
The man didn't dare linger and quickly left.
"Let's continue."
Bege raised his glass again, maintaining his gentlemanly demeanor.
"As a traveler, Brother Arashi, where do you most want to visit in the West Blue?"
"I haven't thought about it yet."
Arashi narrowed his eyes slightly, then suddenly leaned closer to Bege.
"This Sig Town doesn't seem to have any tourist attractions… By the way, Bege, since this place is so chaotic, opening a clinic should be pretty profitable, right?"
"A… a clinic?"
Bege was completely caught off guard. Not only did he not expect Arashi to bring this up, he didn't expect a traveler like him to know medicine!
"There are a few clinics in Sig Town, and all of them make a fortune."
Bege stared at Arashi in confusion. He could tell Arashi wasn't lying, but a traveler who thought about opening a business while traveling? This was a first.
"…flowers…"
"Right…"
Suddenly, Bege's eyes lit up.
"Speaking of clinics, I just remembered—there's a mysterious one in Sig Town that no one can approach…"
"You mean 'Helpful Healer'?"
Arashi's eyebrow twitched slightly as he smiled.
"What a coincidence—that's my clinic."
"Mm—"
Hearing this, Bege—who had just taken a sip of wine—couldn't hold it in and spat it straight onto Ross and Ximei, causing them to jump away in reflex!
Bege had discovered that clinic long ago.
Because its doors had never once opened, he had sent people to pry it open.
…
Later, he realized the place seemed completely empty. Driven by curiosity, he personally led a group of men to break in.
But no matter what they tried—burning it, digging tunnels, even blasting it with cannons—they couldn't damage the clinic at all!
This completely shocked Bege!
As the boss of the underworld, he was actually helpless against a small clinic?
Enraged, he had the building's foundation dug out and moved the entire clinic into his own courtyard, studying its tightly shut doors every day like a man possessed!
And then—
Right after he moved the clinic into his yard…
The owner came back.
Now that was awkward.
