Chapter 32 - Resurrección

After nearly a year of training at the Visored base, Tsuna had already mastered two forms of Resurrección. Once he completed the final one today, he would fully grasp the power of Resurrección.

Inside the Visored base, crimson Cero blasts shot through the air.

With Tsuna's relentless training and Urahara Kisuke's assistance, the Visored had further adapted to Hollowfication. Now they were firing Cero repeatedly while pursuing Tsuna across the battlefield.

Tsuna moved through the barrage with only his White Blade in hand, weaving through their attacks. He was deliberately placing himself under extreme pressure in order to force out the final Resurrección.

At the edge of the training ground, Arisawa Tatsuki sat cross-legged, handing out bento boxes to the people beside her.

During Tsuna's training period, she came every day. Over time, she had built good relationships with the Visored.

"Don't forget to invite us when you marry that spiky-haired baldy. You've taken good care of us this past year."

The one stuffing food into her mouth was Sarugaki Hiyori.

As Tsuna's control over Resurrección improved, the training intensity here had steadily increased. The Visored rotated between fighting and eating—never giving Tsuna a moment to breathe.

"Hiyori, what are you talking about?" Tatsuki said, blushing slightly despite being used to their teasing.

"Come on, you two already live together. What's there to deny?" Hiyori snorted. "That baldy Hirako even said he'll prepare a big wedding gift for you."

During the time Tatsuki had been living at the Sawada residence, Tsuna's parents had returned briefly during a vacation and met her.

Since they had known her since childhood, they were very satisfied. They were simply waiting until Tsuna and Tatsuki reached marriageable age before arranging a ceremony.

"I can't win against you," Tatsuki muttered. When it came to her relationship with Tsuna, she rarely argued back.

"Anyway, I'm done eating."

Hiyori wiped her mouth, put on her Hollow Mask, grabbed her Zanpakutō, and used Shunpo to dash back into the center of the battlefield—raising the pressure on Tsuna once again.

Watching the Visored surrounding Tsuna in battle, a happy smile appeared on Tatsuki's face.

During this past year, not only had her relationship with Tsuna grown closer, she had also gained a group of good friends.

She recalled the first time she met Hirako Shinji.

He had flirted with her out of habit—and Tsuna had immediately beaten him up.

The funniest part was that none of the Visored defended Shinji. In fact, several of them secretly applauded.

After becoming friends with the Visored, Tatsuki had also used her Fullbring to copy several of their talents.

She rejected two abilities using Orihime's Power of Rejection:

Hiyori's explosive temper

Lisa's "perverted book detection ability"

The remaining talents she kept:

Rōjūrō "Rose" Ōtoribashi — Musical appreciation

Muguruma Kensei — Advanced training techniques

Aikawa Love — Minor Reiatsu burst control

Hachigen Ushōda — Kidō development talent

Hirako Shinji — Resistance to reversed perception

Kuna Mashiro — Hakuda combat techniques

Among them, Mashiro's Hakuda was the most immediately useful, directly improving Tatsuki's combat ability.

The ability with the greatest long-term potential was Kidō development. Thanks to Tsuna's Reishi control, Tatsuki had also learned a few Kidō spells to compensate for her pure close-combat fighting style.

Perhaps in the future she could even develop Kidō suited specifically to herself.

As for the ability she gained from Shinji—its purpose was rather simple.

It specialized in countering Shinji himself.

Because of it, Shinji's Sakanade ability no longer affected her. Even when the world's directions were reversed, Tatsuki could remain perfectly clear-headed.

Meanwhile, Tsuna had already donned his Hollow Mask and was fighting the Visored head-on.

Occasionally, he would fire a Cero from his White Blade to counter their attacks.

When Hiyori rejoined the battle, the Visored's formation became completely airtight. There were almost no openings in their coordinated assault.

If Tsuna wanted breathing room, he had to create it himself.

It was clear the Visored hadn't wasted the past hundred years. Their teamwork allowed them to unleash terrifying combat effectiveness in group battles.

In the original timeline, several of them could only maintain Hollowfication for a few seconds. Combined with a certain hot-headed fighter constantly charging recklessly, their true strength had never been fully displayed.

Now, with Urahara's assistance and Tsuna's training, those who previously could maintain their masks only briefly could sustain Hollowfication far longer.

And since Hiyori wasn't constantly exploding in rage anymore, she could finally cooperate properly with the team.

"Surrender, Sawada Tsunayoshi! Let me beat you properly for once!" Muguruma Kensei shouted.

Recently, Kensei had become Tsuna's unofficial power measurement unit—and the culprit responsible was none other than this spiky-haired brat.

"With your strength you're barely worth one Kensei Unit," Tsuna shot back immediately. "Want to beat me? Try again in another hundred years!"

"Heh. Same trick again," Kensei snorted.

This wasn't the first time Tsuna had tried to provoke him. He wouldn't fall for it again.

"Love—advance!" Shinji commanded.

Before Shinji even finished speaking, Aikawa Love slammed Tengumaru into the ground.

Flames ignited around the blade.

In Shikai, it was already one of Love's strongest techniques.

Scorching Hammer!

The original attack had been enhanced with the Reiatsu of a Cero. A violent crimson pillar of fire erupted from beneath Tsuna's feet—like a vertical Cero blasting toward the sky.

Tsuna had no choice but to dodge.

Without entering Resurrección, he didn't dare take Love's attack head-on.

But the moment he moved—

The rest of the Visored were already upon him.

Their Zanpakutō descended simultaneously.

If even one blade landed, Tsuna would lose this round of training.

This training session had strict rules that Tsuna imposed on himself:

Aside from the new power he was trying to awaken, he could not use any other abilities.

It seemed today's attempt would end in failure.

"…Fine. I'll tell you."

Suddenly, a voice echoed in Tsuna's mind.

It sounded like a slightly tsundere young girl.

But there was no time to think about it.

Tsuna immediately raised his White Blade and spoke the Resurrección command.

"Roam the seas—Fish Dragon!"

The White Blade instantly merged into his body.

Blue Reiatsu wrapped around him.

A blue fish tail grew from his lower back. Fins sprouted from his elbows, waist, and calves. Dark blue gemstones appeared on both sides of his head, and his Hollow mask turned a deep ocean blue.

This was Tsuna's Rain-Attribute Resurrección.

He had fused with the Fish Dragon—the power of Bluebell , one of the Real Six Funeral Wreaths.

The voice earlier had belonged to her.

In truth, the Hollow power inside Tsuna still appeared as Byakuran.

But unlike the Tenth Vongola, Byakuran wasn't willing to hand over his power easily.

Instead, Tsuna had to gain the recognition of each member of the Real Six Funeral Wreaths.

To facilitate this, Byakuran even used illusions to materialize the other Funeral Wreath members within Tsuna's inner world.

The easiest one to deal with was Ghost.

Ghost was another world's version of Byakuran and lacked independent consciousness. Because of that, Tsuna easily obtained the Lightning-Attribute Resurrección from him.

Ironically, the most troublesome wasn't Byakuran himself—

It was this moody little girl, Bluebell .

After grinding away for nearly a year, she finally agreed to grant Tsuna her power.

The Rain-Attribute Resurrección was the final ability Tsuna obtained.

Rain Flames spread outward from Tsuna like a spherical wave.

The Visored attacking him suddenly froze in place.

It was as if someone had pressed a pause button on them.

They remained in their attack poses, swords raised.

What was happening?

They couldn't breathe.

Bubbles escaped from their mouths—as if they were submerged underwater.

A massive field of transparent Rain Flames surrounded them.

The special property of Rain Flames was Tranquility.

Inside this transparent pool of high-density Rain Flames, living beings were forced into an almost motionless state.

The weakest among them—Hiyori and Mashiro—were forcibly knocked out of Hollowfication. Their eyes rolled back as they nearly lost consciousness.

Tsuna waved his hand and dispelled the Rain Flames.

The Visored collapsed onto the ground, gasping greedily for air.

"You damn spiky-haired baldy!"

Having recovered, Hiyori grabbed her Zanpakutō and charged at Tsuna.

Tsuna calmly raised his arm.

The fin on his arm collided with her blade.

Clang!

A clear metallic sound rang out.

That was the defining feature of Tsuna's Rain Resurrección—

the fins on his body were as sharp and durable as Zanpakutō.

"Damn it!"

Hiyori gritted her teeth and removed her Hollow mask.

"So that's it, spiky-head. Your Resurrección training is finally finished, right?"

"Yeah," Tsuna replied with a nod. "That's the last one. Thanks for the help, everyone."

"'That's the last one,' he says…" Shinji muttered with a deadpan expression. "I've never seen anyone with this many abilities."

"Finally over…" Lisa sheathed her Zanpakutō.

She had accumulated quite a backlog of erotic books she hadn't read yet and needed to catch up.

"By the way," Tsuna called out to the lieutenants, "you should also focus on developing your Bankai. The next stage of training won't be limited to just the captains."

Since the captain-level fighters still had to master deeper Hollowfication while in Bankai, their training wasn't finished yet.

But the lieutenants had assumed it had nothing to do with them since they hadn't achieved Bankai.

"Yeah right," Lisa waved dismissively. "Bankai isn't something you just pick up casually. If it were that easy, I'd have learned it sometime during the past hundred years."

Tsuna felt it was a bit of a pity.

If he remembered correctly, Lisa eventually became one of the Gotei 13 captains, meaning she must have achieved Bankai later.

Still, this wasn't the time to worry about the Visored's Bankai development.

Tatsuki ran over.

"Tsuna, congratulations!"

Tsuna naturally took her hand.

Over this past year, Tatsuki had taken care of him so he could focus completely on training.

"Thank you."

"Alright, you two lovebirds should get out of here already," Shinji said with lifeless eyes. "Stop spreading that sugary smell."

"Fine," Tsuna said. "I've got some things to discuss with Urahara over the next few days. I'll come back later to continue helping with your training."

Their relationship was mutually beneficial. It wouldn't be fair if only he grew stronger while Shinji and the others remained stagnant.

At this point, several Visored captains could already use Hollow Masks while in Bankai.

However, if they maintained it too long, they still risked losing their sanity.

As for Resurrección, Urahara had already cultivated a portion of artificial Hollow power and sealed it within their Zanpakutō.

That was why they could maintain Hollowfication for extended periods in Shikai, and even attempt to use Hollow power while in Bankai.
