Ji-Han walked toward the registration desk
"I'm here… to register," he said quietly.
The staff member glanced at him.
"Newly awakened?"
"…yes."
"Go to Room 3 for verification."
Ji-Han nodded and walked in.
Moments later
His status appeared on the screen.

Silence
Then;
A small chuckle.
"…what is this?"
"Barrier class…and that low?"
"Combat capability 1.1? Thats basically nothing."
A few awakened nearby laughed quietly
"Even E-rank is too generous for that.
Ji-Han stood still, his fists tightened slightly.
"…I expected this." He muttered to himself
The examiner sighed.
"…normally, someone at this level wouldn't qualify for field activity."
He paused. Then looked at another document.
"…but…"
He adjusted his glasses.
"Due to the Chairman's directive."
"All awakened individuals must be registered and given a provisional pass."
He stamped the paper.
"Yoon Ji-Han. Registered."
Ji-Han blinked slightly
"…that's it?"
"You'll be classified under low-rank support for now," the examiner said plainly.
"Training is optional, but recommended."
Another staff member handed him a card
"Your Association ID."
Ji-Han took it quietly. And the other awakener, who believed in their strength and some who had done the registration with a good rank whisper and smirked at him.
"He won't last a week."
Ji-Han heard all, but he said he said nothing, but believed he would become stronger. As he was about to leave the evaluation hall, a sudden murmur swept through the room.
At first, it was whispers, but then, it grew louder; even the officials behind the glass panels leaned forward. The doors slid open again, and a group of entrants walked in with calm, confident, and different expressions, unlike the nervous candidates.
"Who are they…?" someone muttered.
"I heard they're the ones who were re-evaluated…"
"No way… those are those people?"
There was a presence about them—heavy, suffocating… like they were already standing above everyone else. Ji-Han paused near the exit, curiosity pulling his gaze back, and he had a thought to himself that they looked like important people.
The New entrants
The first to step forward was a tall young man with cold, composed eyes and neatly parted black hair.

A faint heat shimmered around her, distorting the air.
An examiner whispered, "Her mana control… it's almost perfect."
Ji-won scoffed slightly. "So this is the standard?"
A loud crack echoed as someone stretched his neck.

A muscular guy stepped forward with a grin.

The floor creaked under his weight as he walked.
