Chapter 9
Marcello the tall guy that approached her, looks at her with a sneer and says "It looks like little missy has lost her way, but you are so fortunate that I have some time on my hand to redirect you to where you should be". Viola gives him the side eyes and make her way back to her seat. Marcello remains stunned at her blatant dismissal of him and thus he became intrigued in her. He smiles and shouts to her "Well missy it seems you have got my attention and I promise I shall make you an ally". He then goes to his seat and sits down.
People looks at Viola who sat down elegantly and marvels at her prowess meanwhile Viola in her mind thinks "I want to sleep.... Where is our professor?". The class suddenly quiets down as a tall elegant man with white hair, striking blue eyes and a seemingly slender physique walks into the class.
"Settle down brats" the remaining students rushes to their seats as he moves towards the podium. He faces them and says "as you all know today is the annual archer contest among students in the combat class so grab your bows and arrows and fall onto the field. The reward for this year competition is a high grade gem stone so you better put in all your efforts". His eyes spots Viola "A new students ehn, let's see how well you handle this year combat competition" he says this as he moves towards the field.
They all move to the field where their teacher was waiting for them. Viola, seeing that many people where already holding their weapons asked Jamie how they got them. He looks at her and ask her in confusion "You mean you can't channel your spiritual essence into a weapon?". Viola looks at him puzzled and asked him "How do you that?". He sighs and brings her to a secluded part of the field where he advises her that it is best that she does not bring the attention of the combat teacher.
He then instructs her to channel all the power she felt in her meridians, as she tries this she suddenly coughs up blood and begins to sweat profusely, Jamie panics and holds Viola as a swirling vortex begins to form in her hands. "VIOLA!!" Jamie shouts as he tries to break her out of the trance.
His shouts brought the attention of the combat teacher who in turns abandons what he is doing to attend to Viola. "What happens?" he questions as her bends down to examine her. Jamie answered frightened as he says "I was trying to guide her in summoning her spiritual weapon but as she tried to summon all the power in her meridians she suddenly coughs out blood and collapse" upon hearing this the combat teachers sits on the grass and places his hands on her back.
His eyes widen when his hands made contact with her back, as he felt that a powerful wave of energy was trying to spring forth from her meridians. He then likens it to the case of a dam having a crack and that if this is not regulated she will be unable to withstand the force of the power. As he finishes this thought her tries to maintain the balance of the energy or even seal off the source of the energy.
As he was doing this a loud commotion arose from the students as Lucius walks to them. He looks at the combat teacher and smiles wearily "Sorry, Sir Bradford but I will having to trouble you by moving the girl to my office, you should also follow as you might find answers to your question". He says this as he preps his wings in preparation to fly, he then carries Viola from the floor as she was still unconscious and signals Jamie and Bradford to follow him. They then all took to the sky flying with high speed and in a secure formation. Meanwhile in Viola sea of consciousness she sees two figures trying to address her "Huh? Who are you?...."
