Chapter 8
The blue haired boy rushed to Viola planning to hit her until she grabs him by the hand and flips him over her shoulders again. "Some people never learn" she says as she tilts him slightly with her leg. As she does this another shout is heard "MARCO!!" the blonde haired girl from earlier shouts and rushes towards her.
As she arrives the scene she notes Viola and accuses her that she was the one who did this to her innocent brother. As she says "innocent" Viola burst out laughing causing Melinda to seethe in rage. She tries to slap her but her wrist was grabbed by Jamie who in turn glares at her and says "Melinda, be careful.....we don't want a repeat of last time…"
She jerks her hand away from his and cowers in fear she then looks at her brother and scoffs "You know what.... You are not worth the trouble" she turns and walks away leaving Marco still on the floor. "What exactly do you have against her?" Janice asked as they watch Melinda's retreating figure. "Just a few implicative videos on my recording crystals" he says as he smirks at her. "You could have told me sooner" Janice says, if I had known I wouldn't have let her and her cronies bully me".
Jamie looks at Janice in anger and asked her if she truly was being bullied by them. Janice replies affirmative and tells Jamie about what Viola had done for her. Jamie in turn, turns to Viola and bows in appreciation, to which Viola becomes flustered and tells him not to bother himself. He rises up and says they better get going to class as the combat teacher can be very prickly.
As he says this Janice tells Viola of the time that the combat teacher fired an arrow at Jamie because he came late to his first class. "Fortunately, I dodged it if not, I would have been scared permanently" he comments as he shivers recalling the memory.
"Because of him, I ran away from archery….but it's still a blessing because I was more suited for swordsmanship anyway" he says after recalling the memory. Viola then comments that she'll give archery a try to which Jamie informs her that if she passes archery training she'll become the combats teacher disciple, a post that none has ever attained. He also informs her that being any teacher's disciple has its benefits and she should persevere.
They walk away leaving Marco on the floor as they make their way towards their classes meanwhile other students watch in awe the birth of a weird but powerful combo. They drop Janice off at her class which was spell enchantment to which Jamie advices Viola not to be intimidated by the boys group which was combat class. Viola laughs and informs Janice that she seems to forget who she is taking to. To this response Janice smiles and chases both of them away.
As they enter they class, the atmosphere became tensed as Viola was the first girl in this class recorded in the past 60 years. They all look at her in amusement some even teasing her about losing her way, other offering to give her directions to the spell enchantment class.
She was then approached by a burly figure. ""Well, well, well, what do we have here?". Viola sighs and says in her mind "here we go again..."
