"Master, I have delivered the items to them." In the dilapidated building, Jibril said to Fujino Asagami, who was wiping the yubashiri.
"I see," Fujino Asagami replied, looking at the yubashiri in her hand and nodding with satisfaction.
"What did you do to that idiot again?" Touko Aozaki walked in at this moment.
"Nothing," Fujino Asagami said, putting away the yubashiri and smiling. "Just a gift."
"Is that so?" Touko Aozaki looked at Fujino Asagami and said, "I ran into someone when I went out, and he wants to see you."
"He?" Fujino Asagami's brow furrowed. In Japanese, 'he' and'she' are distinct and easily distinguishable. Fujino Asagami suddenly thought of someone and looked at Touko Aozaki. "Is it that second magus?"
"You already knew?" Touko Aozaki looked at Fujino Asagami in surprise.
Fujino Asagami nodded and said, "I ran into him once before and even had a fight."
Hearing that Fujino Asagami had fought the second magus, Touko Aozaki couldn't help but become interested and asked, "Who won?"
Fujino Asagami shook her head. "There was no result; some accidents happened."
"I see," Touko Aozaki nodded thoughtfully and added, "Do you want to go see him?"
"No need." Fujino Asagami looked out the window. "He's already here. Am I right, second magus Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg?"
"I didn't expect to be discovered by you after all." A sturdy old man appeared inside the room.
"Speak. What business do you have with me? If there isn't any, I don't mind cutting you in half and sending you to the Church as a specimen." Fujino Asagami looked at Zelretch coldly, her yubashiri covered in black-purple Armament Haki, with purplish-black magical energy also coating the blade.
Zelretch broke into a cold sweat seeing this; he understood the girl before him absolutely had the ability to do it. If it weren't for certain connections, he wouldn't have come looking for Asagami Fujino in the first place.
"I've only come to find you this time because I was entrusted by someone," Zelretch said hurriedly. He couldn't help but feel a bit stifled; as the dignified second magus, he was illustrious wherever he went, yet he was reduced to this state in front of Asagami Fujino. It was unbearable.
"Entrusted by someone? Who? That white-haired internet scammer Merlin? Or someone else?" Asagami Fujino thought for a moment and could only come up with that answer. If she remembered correctly, Zelretch had a significant relationship with that Magus of Flowers.
"You even know about Merlin?!" Zelretch was even more surprised. He indeed had a connection to Merlin, but he hadn't expected Asagami Fujino to know about it. This was completely beyond Zelretch's expectations.
"Though I don't know how you know that guy, he wasn't the one who told me to find you." Zelretch shook his head. "The ones who sent me are the two up there."
"The two up there?" Aozaki Touko, standing nearby, clearly thought of something as her expression changed. She asked in surprise, "Is it the counter force?!"
"Oh, it's those two Little Lolis," Asagami Fujino nodded in realization.
"How do you know?!" Zelretch looked at Asagami Fujino in shock, as did Aozaki Touko.
"Am I wrong?" Asagami Fujino frowned.
"No, that's not what I meant. It's true the counter force asked me to find you, but what I'm curious about is how you know the counter force are lolis?!" Zelretch looked at Asagami Fujino with a strange expression.
"So it's true? Let me guess: one of those lolis has black hair and the other has silver hair; one is an energetic idiot and the other is a kuudere loli, right?"
Seeing Zelretch's even more astonished expression, Asagami Fujino felt she hadn't guessed wrong. This pair of counter forces really were a pair of Little Lolis, just as people used to fantasize.
"Alright, enough nonsense. Tell me quickly what this is about." Asagami Fujino put on an impatient look, acting as if she would strike Zelretch down with her blade if he didn't explain clearly soon.
"It's like this: the counter force allows you to interfere with the world's progress at will and will never interfere with you. They will also give you the maximum assistance in this world; they only hope you won't give Magic Crests to others haphazardly," Zelretch said quickly. Initially, he had been startled to learn that Asagami Fujino had the ability to replicate Magic Crests. Zelretch knew very well what replicating Magic Crests represented—it meant everyone could potentially become a Magus. This was definitely not what the counter force wanted to see. At first, Zelretch was unwilling to believe it, but after seeing Aozaki Touko earlier, he believed. The Magic Crest in Aozaki Touko's body was real. He had witnessed Aozaki Touko in other parallel worlds, but none had become a true Magus. Yet, the Aozaki Touko of this great world possessed a Magic Crest. Having witnessed countless versions of her, Zelretch could say with certainty that her wisdom and strength would allow her to become a Magus. And all of this was caused by the anomaly that was Asagami Fujino.
"Fine, I agree." She hadn't intended to give Magic Crests to others anyway. Giving one to Aozaki Touko was only because Tohko would eventually be one of her people. Furthermore, Asagami Fujino wanted to see what kind of interesting expression Aoko Aozaki would make when she saw her sister possessing the same magic as her.
"You agree? Then I shall take my leave." Zelretch spoke, intending to depart. For some reason, he felt that if he stayed any longer, something bad would happen.
"Don't be in such a hurry to leave. Fight me once." Asagami Fujino's voice rang out, accompanied by a black blade light.
