After an unknown amount of time, the sound of water in the bathroom ceased.
Su Mu and March 7th had both changed into new sets of clothes.
March 7th was now wearing a pale blue dress that Su Mu had specifically purchased from the Apartment Store. It complemented her snowy skin perfectly, making her look even more radiant.
Additionally, at March 7th's request, he had bought a high-performance camera. This single purchase had cost over 3,000 gold coins, leaving him feeling the sting of the expense for quite a while.
March 7th was currently holding the camera, standing before the floor-to-ceiling window and taking photos of the ruins outside. She adjusted her angles from time to time, muttering to herself as she worked.
"Hmm... the ruins have a great atmosphere, but it's a shame there isn't more decor."
Su Mu leaned back on the sofa, resting for a moment. With a flick of his mind, he opened March 7th's attribute panel.
[Su Mu's Clone: March 7th] [Level: Lv. 25] [Talent: Girl's Privilege] [Skills: Frigid Bowshot, Cute is Justice, Freezing Moment, Glacial Cascade]
"Even the talent and skills are exactly the same as in the game... this conceptualization is a bit too literal," Su Mu couldn't help but remark.
He could feel a special connection between himself and March 7th. He could faintly perceive her thoughts and feelings.
Moreover, his [Clone] talent had reached Level 2, meaning he could manifest another clone.
The "exercise" in the bathroom earlier had made him realize that his physical condition had significantly improved, likely an effect of his level increase. Since his body could handle it, summoning another clone shouldn't be an issue.
As for the philosophical dilemma of a clone being "another self"... Su Mu curled his lip. Who cared!
As long as they could "do it," nothing else mattered!
"Main Body, are you going to add a new clone?" March 7th put down her camera and turned to look at Su Mu, her eyes filled with anticipation. "I wonder who it'll be this time~"
As his clone, she could also sense Su Mu's intentions.
"Since it's conceptual, if I specifically think of a certain target while using the talent, can I make the clone take their form?" Su Mu had a sudden inspiration.
"Theoretically, it's possible, but I don't think you can do it, Main Body," March 7th shook her head without hesitation, her tone certain.
"...Alright, I really can't."
Su Mu tried it and realized he simply couldn't focus on just one target. There were far too many beautiful girls he liked; a dozen figures flashed through his mind instantly, making it impossible to concentrate his will.
"Forget it, random is fine. It'll definitely be someone I like anyway."
Su Mu gave up the struggle. He focused his mind once more and activated the [Clone] talent.
The same scene repeated itself. A mass of warm energy separated from his body, quickly taking shape and condensing on the carpet.
Soon, another naked female figure appeared before his eyes—she had long, fiery red hair, a tall and elegant stature, striking features, and an aura of mature charm.
"Himeko?!"
Su Mu's eyes lit up again.
Indeed, the woman before him was none other than Himeko from Honkai: Star Rail!
It seemed that because his first clone was March 7th, his thoughts had instinctively gravitated toward characters from the same game when he activated the talent again. That was likely the key reason for this specific manifestation.
"Eh? It's Himeko-jie! Fantastic!"
March 7th's eyes instantly turned into stars. She rushed toward the figure, her pale blue skirt fluttering lightly as she ran.
"Little March, now isn't the time for acting spoiled."
Himeko simultaneously raised her hand, gently patting March 7th's head as she spoke with a warm yet helpless smile.
Then, Himeko turned her gaze to Su Mu. "Main Body, buy me a set of clothes first."
"Why buy clothes now?!" March 7th immediately turned around, putting her hands on her hips as she looked at Su Mu, her tone a bit urgent. "We're definitely going to 'do it' first anyway, right, Main Body?"
"Is it impossible to 'do it' while wearing clothes?" Himeko raised an eyebrow in response, a hint of mischief in her eyes.
"...You two, can you stop saying things that are so out of character?"
Su Mu pressed a hand to his forehead, feeling his temples throb. These two clones looked exactly like the characters he knew, but their speaking styles were becoming increasingly derailed.
"So, are we doing it?" March 7th took a step closer, her bright eyes fixed on Su Mu.
"...Yes!"
Su Mu remained silent for a moment before finally nodding.
"Doing it with clothes on is fine too, right?" Himeko pressed, her fingertips tracing lightly over her own bare, porcelain skin.
"It'll make me even more excited!" Su Mu's voice carried a trace of nearly imperceptible huskiness.
"Hehe, I knew you'd say that~"
Himeko's eyes were full of indulgence as she smiled and changed into the white long dress Su Mu had just purchased.
The fabric was light and airy, making her posture seem even more graceful. Once dressed, she walked straight to the sofa in the living room and began the "movement" without any further delay.
After the activity concluded, Su Mu—having truly developed a taste for this—couldn't resist opening the panel again to try and upgrade his clone talent.
[Deducted 2,000 Gold Coins. Clone level Lv. 2 → Lv. 3. Maximum number of clones +1.]
As the upgrade notification popped up, Su Mu glanced at his remaining balance and saw he had less than 3,000 gold left.
It looked like reaching Level 4 was out of the question for now; gold coins really didn't last long. Just buying a few outfits for March 7th and Himeko, plus the camera, had cost over 5,000 gold.
Su Mu marveled at the cost. Even that 170,000-Year-Old Cicada, which would be a Demon-level threat in its original world, was only worth about 10,000 gold. It seemed that monster really wasn't worth much—or rather, it wasn't worth much in this particular world.
