Chapter 2 - Chapter Two: Did you really?

They saw the sun disappear behind the large covered mountains as the night hung above them. Pia sighed as she walked, thinking to herself I wish I had my phone, and it was already night. We should have run instead of walked. She looked over James' face. He was grinning on his face, and she said, "You're too close to me." He walked far back, then sighed. She thought to herself "This idiot is slowing me down, but I need him just in case he finds a way out. He does have a good fighting body. He was taller than her by about 6 ft, had dark brown eyes that were different, a rounder face than an average male, and fluffy, wavy hair. He had eye shadow, chipped black nails, and a bit more mascara on his eyelashes. She spoke to him, "We need to set up tonight, and we'll walk the rest of tomorrow." They looked around searching for somewhere to sleep, nothing but an open plain, and a river running through with weeds popping up everywhere. They both sighed as she rubbed her hands together, making a small fire in her hands. Please go find some sticks for us to at least light a fire," he ran off, Pia thought to herself. He is too nice to do something, but I need to find a way out of here before. Maybe he is just nice,¨ then she reminded me of the last time someone was nice. "I know you can trust me, we are friends after all." She heard something moving, then saw a tall figure standing there, the wind blowing its old cloak before moving towards a small bush. She fired towards them. The bush burst into flames, smoke coming from her hands, the clocked figure was gone. She looked around, confused, and thought her mind was getting close to the bush. ¨Where did they go?¨ She looked at the flames biting her bottom lip before seeing her long white hair streaking from her hair. "It's getting worse," James walked up right behind her. "Are you okay?" She whipped her body around, sweat beating down her face. "Yes, I'm fine," There was a brief moment of quiet before she said, "You no longer have to collect any more sticks." James threw some sticks into the fire, then plopped the rest down and sat down. Pia sat down with them both, just looking into the fire. Thinking about everything that has been going on. James said, " Did you really? Do you think there would be a way home?" Pia was asked a question, "Maybe," James kept thinking about looking at Pia ¨Do you have anyone you want to go back to?" Pia froze, looking at James, then away from him. She looked into the fire. "Let's go to sleep, we need to leave early tomorrow," she turned to her side, and she heard James getting up saying, "I'm going to the bathroom." He left as his footsteps became distant. Pia said to herself, "Sister, come home no matter what." James watched a little deeper in the forest. "Houston, my love, forgive me for my sins." He thought to himself. He sees Apua looking at him. James demanded, "Do you mind turning around?" Apua shrugged his shoulders, "I could lie to you,¨ saying, "I never will. I'm a spirit and straight unlike you sooo. James was confused, "How do those things relate to each other?" James did not care anymore and was now ready to bust he used the bathroom, washing his hands in a nearby creek walking back to Pia, seeing her sleep, saying to himself, "I will get back home soon." He lay down, and soon he felt the course ground as he closed his eyes, hearing a voice ringing through his mind, "My name is Amoura, and this is my friend Alexender…" He went to sleep before he could hear the rest of the conversation.Someone walked with a group of soldiers behind them. She was a tall woman with dark brown hair with blonde highlights, golden eyes, and pulled out a sword smiling to herself. She knelt holding a sword to Pia's neck. She woke up trying to move to speak but couldn't. Her voice brought every breath and calm, and controlling, ¨My name is Eve, my friend is meeting with the world king. She turned to the soldiers in the back ¨These are his soldiers you and your friend will not remember this.¨ She snapped her finger causing Pia's eyes to close. She walked over to one of the soldiers, cutting their neck open, licking up their blood, taking a chunk out of their neck slowly slowing it. The soldiers watch neither of them make an expression nor show fear. The soldier fell to the ground trying to cling to life. Blood soaking into the ground as Eve smirked, sighing to one of the soldiers to move the body she made a portal walking into it. One of the soldiers rolled her eyes as Eve left ¨We have one of them and one of our soldiers dead because of your allies." The soldiers all moved out and vanished into the dark once again.Jeff sat watching the fire as it burned, looking at Mason getting closer, and smiled at him "Do you think we're going home?" Jeff thought to himself, "Of course as long as we've got each other," Mason got up saying "I'm going to find some food." He left as his gem glowed and a voice rang through Jeff's mind ¨Hello Jeffy it has been a while since I saw you, and it looks like you have a boyfriend now. I missed out a lot my friend," Jeff groaned "I thought you were gone when I got here. By the way, do you know a way out of here?" The voice chucked "I don't know how to get out of here but I can help you." Jeff was confused "Okay can you please help me," his eyes glowed dark red as his hand glowed before a tent was made before him. You could do that the whole time," the voice laughed. "See you soon." The voice was gone Jeff said to himself "How am I going to explain this to Mason?" Mason walked through the forest saying to himself "Where are you two?" Then, hearing someone moving in the forest, he looked around putting his fist up. Breathing slowly then hearing more movement hearing the screaming of thousands of voices. He knelt breathing as they slowly disappeared. He then ran towards the camp then hit someone he couldn't see, and he held his hand out feeling cloth recoiling in his hand. Before trying to touch it again, the person was already gone. He sat down thinking to himself "Breath Mason breath." He saw his brother Laim looking at him. He was back at home in his bed as his breath was escaping him. "Remembering Liam he was in his bedroom his brother smiled at him, "Do you remember what I said you should think of your family your loved ones feel the world around you?" His breath started to slow as he heard his parents fighting once again. He was getting so used to it that he was tuning them out. He was back in the forest, feeling the damp ground and the wet air that clung to everything in the forest. He saw a familiar woman; she had dark brown hair, brown skin, dark green eyes, light brown freckles, and a smile as white as pure snow. He leaned down, helping him out. They stared at each other. Mason had to look up at her. Mason's body felt as he looked at this woman; her beauty and her soul felt otherworldly. He tried to speak, but the words did not come to him. His body felt like it was on fire, and he was thinking to himself, "Stay strong! Stay strong! Don't look down! Don't look down!" She kissed him on his forehead, and she spoke softly and gently, "You are a beautiful soul Mason Jones." She has a flash of white light. Mason whispers, "Thank you Goddess of Life." He ran back, seeing Jeff inside a large tent. It was a dark red. It reminded him of camping with his family when life was ´normal.´ He looked at Mason's hand, ¨I built a tent are you okay?¨ Mason walked closer, hugging him. "I am fine, just hurt while looking for food, but I couldn't find any.¨ Mason looked at his hand, which was bleeding a little. Jeff grabbed his hand as they smiled at each other. Jeff sighed, "Um Mason I got something I want to tell you." Mason replied, "Yeah," Jeff looked at him, pulling Mason closer. They were close to each other's face "Mason- Mason…I…. I would like to be your friend." Mason looked at him, "Uh is that all you wanted to say?" Jeff smiled, "No I really just want to tell you that I'm not straight." They both went silent Jeff quickly regretted what he said: "Sorry that was out of left field you can forget I said anything." He let go, his hands starting to walk away. Mason said, "That is completely fine with me, you will be my best friend either way." Jeff replied, "Are you sure?" Mason sighed, "Of course did you really think I would be your friend?" They hugged each other, hearing something moving in a nearby bush as a large bear mixed with a moose roared at them, dropping the three large grey fish it had in its mouth. It ran towards them. Mason's eyes glowed dark purple holding his hand out towards his breath; it slowed, his eyes turning gray and dull before dropping dead. Mason's eyes turned back to normal. "Hey, we got dinner." Jeff looked at him. Mason tried to play it off, replied, "We all have secrets." Jeff did protest, " Did you really? -Okay." They went into the tent. Jeff made two black sleeping bags, causing his gem to crack more.

A tall man with long curly sandy brown hair and light brown eyes that looked almost yellow, and light marks across his arms. A film soldier who had been looking at him for a horse spoke, "Master Argos, do you want to continue with the plan?" Argos looked uncomfortable before saying ¨No, my friend and your king will understand, and please, do not call my Master Argos, he is just fine."They walked back into the forest away from the tent. "If you keep calling me mater, I'll make you and your family slaves in my empire in the deepest mines of the Golden Mountains." The soldiers made her blond hair away from her eyes looking surprised Argos made a portal as the soldiers followed. They were now in the palace when the king Arogs walked in with a stone expression into the throne room. The dull, empty room's old flag was torn out and looked like a fight that had taken place long ago. Everything had a layer of dust and there were chandelier candles that brought a warm yellow color to the room. The guards watched him and the king looked displeased, "Did you find them?" Argos replied "Okay," King held back his anger, "Where are they then, Argos?" He smirked, now pleased with the King's anger, "Lord, king, emperor, the grand Killer of the Kingdom. I don't follow your order, and I frankly didn't feel like using my power to take them in. So you and your pathetic army will have to do it yourself unless you want our offer." The King yelled, "Get out of my place and my universe, his disrespectful child!" Argos spat down, opening a portal saying, "Hon, I'm a hundred years older than you." Then left in the portal the King sat back down groaning, and yelled out, "I will find those teenagers, and they will be mine!"
