Chapter 117 - Hulk: You Dare Kill-Steal, Kid?

"Thank you, sir!"

"Can you tell me your name? You helped Alexei, and Alexei will definitely repay you."

Having successfully pulled "Radiation" back into his body, Alexei scratched the back of his head and offered Peter a goofy, honest smile.

Peter: "..."

Seriously, man? You didn't recognize me at all?

Did you not think that white light from earlier looked familiar? Did my voice not ring any bells?

After a brief moment of speechless silence, Peter helplessly massaged his forehead.

"With your IQ, it would take me way too long to explain my true identity to you... So, just go help Ghost-Spider rescue those trapped civilians for now.

If you perform well enough, I might consider telling you who I am. And after this mess is over, I'll see about bailing you out of prison."

"Really?" Alexei's eyes lit up instantly.

During his half-month stay on Baker Island, he hadn't had a single full meal. At the mention of getting out to eat real food, the "Iron Simpleton" immediately perked up.

Noticing Gwen nearby, trying to lift a pile of rubble to save a child trapped underneath, Alexei charged forward like a runaway rhino:

"Leave it to me!"

Watching Alexei's eager, retreating back, Peter couldn't help but shake his head and laugh. Bringing this big guy into the fold wasn't a bad idea.

Down the line, maybe he and William could serve as personal bodyguards for Uncle Ben and Aunt May—the "Heng and Ha Generals" of the Parker household.

With the variable of "Radiation" resolved, Peter turned his gaze to the other side of the battlefield.

Currently, the fight between Hulk and Abomination had reached a fever pitch. Peter's earlier "Liger Bomb" had served as the starting gun for Hulk's counter-attack.

Hulk, who had previously been suppressed due to having too much energy drained by Radiation, seized the opening to turn the tide from a one-sided beating into a brutal back-and-forth.

As the battle raged, the accumulating rage in Hulk's heart was steadily amplifying his strength.

BAM! BAM! BAM!

Abomination's prideful bone spurs and hardened skin were proving useless against Hulk's torrential assault.

The spurs were being snapped one by one, and deep gashes were opening across his body as he let out roars of unwilling frustration.

Peter estimated that if he didn't intervene, it wouldn't be long before Hulk literally beat Abomination to death.

This was the raw gap between them. Abomination was essentially a monster created from a weakened Super Soldier Serum and Hulk's blood.

While his "floor" was higher than a base Hulk's, his "ceiling" was locked. He lacked the special ability to grow exponentially stronger with rage.

Hulk, on the other hand, was the original product of Gamma radiation; his potential was theoretically limitless!

Technically, as long as Hulk could generate infinite rage, he could destroy the universe. Of course, the prerequisite was having that infinite rage.

In the cinematic universe, Hulk had essentially gone into a "self-imposed retirement" after being schooled by Thanos, proving that "infinite rage" was often more of a theoretical concept than a constant reality.

This was exactly why Peter believed he could beat the Hulk. Whatever Thanos could do, Peter felt he could achieve as well—especially with the healing factor of the Horse Talisman and enough time to wear the giant down.

But back to the matter at hand. To "fleece" some points from both Hulk and Abomination—and to prevent Brooklyn from being leveled—Peter decided to end the farce.

Hulk had just delivered a thunderous punch that knocked Abomination down once more. In the next heartbeat, Peter, cloaked in his Lightning Release Armor, flickered into existence in front of the fallen beast.

Tempest Kick (Rankyaku)!

A sharp blade of compressed air, wrapped in violent electrical currents, slammed into Hulk's back, leaving a deep, visible gash.

Hulk's frame stumbled from the sudden impact, causing his follow-up punch toward Abomination to miss its mark.

Abomination seized the precious window and landed a heavy blow on Hulk's face, successfully knocking the green giant back.

"ROAR!"

Just as Abomination let out an excited shout, preparing to press his advantage and pin Hulk down again, Peter shifted directly in front of him. Peter raised a single finger.

At the tip of that finger, lightning as bright as a collapsing star began to coalesce.

Hell Stab - Iron Body - One-Finger Spear!

Abomination didn't even have time to register what was happening before Peter's finger tapped him square between the eyes.

The moment the finger made contact, lightning erupted. The blinding glare forced everyone nearby to shield their eyes; no one could see the specifics of the execution.

When the light finally faded, a deathly silence fell over the area.

Tony, relying on his Mark suit's electronic optics, was the first to see the scene clearly. He took a sharp, audible breath.

Then Gwen, Felicia, Colonel Rhodes, George Stacy... one by one, everyone saw the result and gasped in unison.

The once invincible Abomination was now flat on the ground, completely devoid of life. The upper half of his hideous, fish-man-like head was simply gone.

The remaining lower jaw and neck were charred black by high-voltage currents—a truly pathetic end.

"Jarvis, playback the last scene at 0.125 speed!"

Tony wanted to get to the bottom of how exactly the monster had died. Through the AI's frame-by-frame capture, he caught it.

In the recording, Peter's single finger had pierced through Abomination's skull as if it were wet paper.

Are you freaking kidding me?! Tony complained internally.

Stabbing a monster like that to death with one finger and blowing the entire cranium apart... and you're telling me this guy is a "Mage"?!

Peter, oblivious to Tony's inner monologue, reached down and pressed his hand to Abomination's chest:

[Detected Dark Green Rare: Abomination's Heart]

[A mutation containing Super Soldier Serum and Hulk's blood. Potential to unlock the secrets of Gamma radiation. High research value.]

[Sacrifice for: 800 Points]

[Confirm Sacrifice?]

Sacrifice!

As Peter confirmed the thought, another small wave of points entered his account. But almost at the exact moment the sacrifice was complete...

"ROAR!!!"

A wave of murderous intent, thick enough to solidify the air, erupted from behind him.

It was Hulk.

Having just hauled himself up, Hulk looked at the headless corpse of the Abomination, then at the "Arbiter" standing over his prize. A massive vein throbbed on Hulk's forehead.

Damn you, Kill-Stealer!

Die!
