He stopped the car in a swerve and rushed in. I was already used to his anger issues. Once inside dad was seated at the main office.
"Right on time." He stated as we sat on a couch nearby.
"What's up between you two?" He asked. It was obvious he was our dad.
"Nothing."
"Nothing always meant something." I kept my cool as always, silent. Finally I spoke.
"I spoke something about love and he got angry."
Pa smiled.
"I can't help. Let's turn here." He stated as he pressed the remote.
"Golden world casino is our next target. We'll have to develop it to something else. The cause and other factors will be sent."
"You could have just texted on it." I said arrogantly coz fuck, this instant I was missing my bolt and stuff lesson.
"I called because of this." He stated as a picture came on screen. The third year guy that greeted me at the assembly.
"His name is Michael. The heir of the GT group. He is a twenty percent owner of the casino we are speaking of."
"The only illegal business of GT?" I stated all the pieces were aligned carefully and all I had to do was pick the right choices.
"Yes. We might talk him to creating a legal business which doesn't involve gambling and drugs but if he declined, he is out of the picture."
"Straight to dream world." Rick stated. His mood had adjusted.
"Okay. So I need to keep him close."
"Nope. Just make a deal with him and all will be okay." Pa responded as he turned some files. We walked out.
"Then before I confess to Gene can you tell me why you declined my love?" Rick finally asked. I knew we'd be here one day but not this soon.
'on the day I was born a kid came to our window to borrow coins. I was so tiny and my mom had a huge heart. He welcomed him and asked him to care for me for life and there is when everything became as it was. We did everything together and soon Ricks feelings for me changed. He nolonger saw me as a brother. I had the spark no denial but soon enough Pa found out. He explained to me that we were on a war and soon enough a bullet would go through one of us and what of the other? Everything would be lost. My small mind had no idea on romance but I had to stop the feeling instantly. So instant that it tortured me to seat by him. That it led us to separate bit by bit.'
Tears came into my eyes. I couldn't control it. He stopped the car.
"Why are you crying?" He asked. This scene wasn't new to him. Though rare I did anyway.
No words came to mouth. I opened my eyes. We had arrived. People were in their classes as it was past lunch. He hoped off and rushed to my side. Though he chose to chase the feeling away he still cared.
He turned the door to the V8 vehicle and helped me up before hugging me. He stroke my hair slowly.
"I didn't want to make you cry." He knew I also had gone through a lot.
Jay stared from his window.
"From a guy who said he was not with him."
"Three minutes to beginning of the lesson." Tiw stated as he watched.
"Why are they hugging?"
"How should I know?" He asked with his feelings running all over. Maybe he really liked him. But what led to such? The encounter in the plane or the first sight look in the bar. He shrugged the thought off.
"Finally you are here. Have you eaten?" T asked as he handed me a drink. The usual. It fell calmly in my empty stomach cooling all the regions within.
Jay dared not head home. This was since the incident when his dad pushed him. He was an antiviolence kind of guy.
"Hey guys..." He begun as he looked up at the ceiling in the room. Daddy had told them to sleep.
"Yes??" Shyl asked. Gene was fully asleep. His deep breaths said everything.
"How do you feel when you are in love?"
"Funny question." Shyl responded as he looked down at him. He was situated on the floor.
"What?"
"Do you really like him?"
"I don't know. That's why I'm asking."
"One thing first."
"What?"
"What really happened three years ago in the plane?"
"Nothing much. I just watched him listen to music."
"Answer me clearly." Shyl stated serious.
"Okay I'll tell you though not interesting." He responded.
