Kine moves closer, both of their hearts are throbbing like hell Kine was about to close his eyes as well
But suddenly phone rings, Both come back to their senses Kine moves away, Di shys off as well, it was Di's phone
Di : Oh damn I forgot to tell Riva I'll be late (picks up the call) Hey Riv I'm so sorry I didn't want to be late, Are Mom and Dad home? It's already past 8, buy me some time I'll soon be there...
Riv (calmly) : Needn't worry, Mom called, they'll be back tomorrow afternoon.
Di (relieved) : Thank God…..
Riv : Moreover it's pouring heavily outside can't you hear or what or you might be busy doing things from my fantasy ~
Di : Shut up (He smiles unknowingly)
Kine stares at him with jealousy, like who is he talking to and why is he smiling so much, just as he was staring at Di with his jealous expression, Di turns towards Kine to which he pretends to look elsewhere
After the call ends
Kine : So.... Who was it, somebody special ….?
Di (nods in agreement) : More special than anyone else in this world.
Di looks at the clock on the wall
Di : Thank you so much for your hospitality and all your help, but I need to leave,can't leave Riv alone for too long.
Gets up to pack up, as he was about to leave, Kine reaches out his hand with look to not let him leave, Di looks at Kine
Di (thinks in his mind) : Are Riv's fantasies coming true?
Di : What is it …?
Kine (nervous) : Actually..... Will you go out like this?
Di (confused) : Huh?
Kine : I mean will you go out in this sexy night suit or what?
Di (realises, embarrassed) : Oh right, I won't.
Kine: Wait, I'll bring your clothes.
Goes to the balcony unwillingly, turns out he forgot to turn on the dryer, hits his head against the wall in embarrassment.
Kine (crying in regret) : Why all of this had to happen today. Good going embarrass yourself more in front of your crush
Kine goes back in, carrying a sad embarrassed face.
Kine : I'm sorry Di, I didn't really mean to but (scratches his head) I kinda forgot to turn on the dryer.
Di (scoffs, giggles then bursts into laughter) : I'm sorry I didn't mean to laugh at you I just couldn't hold back looking at your cute face and somebody so perfect as you also forgets like for real. (continues to laugh)
Kine (Somewhat happy) : So it'll take 30 more minutes to dry, till then are you hungry I'll prepare something quickly for you. Sit I'll turn on the T.V. for you.
Di (still laughing) : Okay
Kine goes to the kitchen tries to tie his apron but isn't able to suddenly feels a hand helping him, turns to see it's Di
Kine : Thanks, you here.....?
Di : I can't sit there alone...., want some help??
Kine : Nah that'll be not needed.
Searches for Instant mixes, finds two pancake flavours.
Kine gestures to Di
Kine : Which one do you like more?
Di : Chocolate and you?
Kine : Same (In his mind) we got the same preference….. so good.
While preparing the batter, some of it gets on Kine's cheeks, Di playfully giggles and wipes it with his hands. Kine blushes, gets back to preparation. After they prepared their dinner they seat themselves in the dining area. A few moments later they heard a beep sound, and the dryer completed its task. Kine turned a bit sad that Di would leave right after the meal
After dinner,
Di : I'll leave then
Kine : Wait,.... (stares into the deep brown eyes of Di) I'll drop you, it's late anyways.
Di nods in affirmation Kine cleans up and gets ready to leave. In the empty streets, under the moonlight, with warm breeze gushing, Kine drove slowly so that he could get to spend more time with, upon asking he answered it's dark so for safety reasons,
Di (in his mind) : What a baby he is.
Soon they reached Di's home
Di : So..... Here we are.
Kine who doesn't want Di to leave his side nods, then turns towards Di, leans closer and closer plugs out his seatbelt but Di was late to realise all of it he had already closed his eyes
Kine scoffs and flicks on Di's forehead
Kine : Chill I won't take advantage of you, (in a flirty tone) unless you allow me to.
Di (embarrassed and confused) : Huh?! What do you mean?
Kine (can't take it anymore of his cuteness) : Just leave already I've to wake early for work too.
Di : Yeah. Bye. See you tomorrow.
Di gets out of the car and rushes towards the main door
With this finally the ONE SIDED DATE, that was obviously both sided ended on good terms. Di back home sees Riv fallen asleep waiting for him on the sofa. Di picks her up and lays her on the bed, changes and goes to sleep as well. Next morning, Di's home, Riv's screaming.....
