another realm, an Ant following a group of ants, an wolf following a Pack of

Wolves, a Dolphin following other Dolphins, a Bee following other Bees, a Flowe

blooming besides other flowers, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. it seemed to just go on

forever until finally the Caterpillar appeared again.

"All you have done is follow others. Perhaps follow your own conscience for

once in your many lives." Said the Catepillar.

"My many lives?" thought Daniel. Could this mean that those were all his

past lives before this one and why he was reborn as an Elf. But why had he

forgotten about all these other lives but remember the life he had before he

was reborn as the Gate Keeper. He had always thought that reincarnation

was nonsense but after all he had seen in the past couple of years and after

meeting the Caterpillar he wasn't ready to count it out just yet. As Sun-Wukong and his compatriots traveled in the skies above, Daniel and

his allies traveled in the lands below. In fact they would soon have to head deep

underground.

The gang had crossed the fields of Mamarra and they were reaching one of their final great destinations the Twilight Abyss. The Abyss Twilight was a

large whole or crevice in the ground that lie to the north of the fields of Mamarra. It

lead to a world called the Twilight Realm which infinitely vast so it was easy to get

lost within certain points of this realm but also infinitely mysterious, it was truly an

enigma. As they reached the giant pit that was the Twilight Abyss several Dwarves

approached them. "Excuse me but you have to pay a tax to Emperor Rohan XIII if

you wish to enter his domain." Said one of the Dwarves. "Emperor Rohan who the

hell is that?!" said Tatu. "Emperor Rohan is the 13 th member of the House of

Rohan king of the Echidnas and lord of the Twilight Realm soon to be ruler of the

world." Said the other Dwarf. "You can't mean. Damnit that clown's bloodline has

gone through twelve more descendants I was sure it would have died off a couple

hundred years ago." Said Ungar. "Are you saying you knew Emperor Rohan I?!"

said Narcis. "No it was King Rohan I, King of the Echidnas, not an Emperor back

then and even though he was a complete clown he actually was a nice guy and me

and him kind of became close but maybe his son isn't like him. He's an Emperor so

he probably has quite the ego." Said Ungar. "That makes sense after all a king is

nothing compared to an Emperor." Said Sarai. "If his ego gets out of hand I can

quash him Warlock!" said Zaiyal. "This Echidna, this Clown really wants to

conquer the world. That's almost funny enough to make me laugh!" said Tatu.

"Don't insult our king you degenerate!" said one of the Dwarves.

"Or what?!" said Tatu. "Or we'll have to sick Old Bessie on you guys!" said the other Dwarf.

"Who's old Bessie?!" said Daniel. As Daniel said this a giant flea appeared as

large as an elephant and it began to roar. All of them got into their fighting stances

but none of their magic seemed to work it was clear that this battle would not be

easily won.

Meanwhile... in the skies above, Monkey, Tripitaka, Pigsy, Sandy and their

two new comrades Tecumseh and Mani continued on their journey to the Pig

Demon Kingdom on their way to the Jade Emperor's Celestial Palace. Little did

they know that they were being followed by the Chinese Lightning Goddess known

as Leizi but also known as Dianmu. Eventually she shot in arrow at Sun-Wukong

the Monkey King himself and all six of them got into a battle stance but Monkey

insisted than everyone lay down their arms and he wished to fight this mysterious

woman alone. He soon discovered it was the Chinese Lightning Goddess Leizi who

was the ex-wife of Leigong who was one of the now deseased Thunder Brothers.

Leizi made it clear that she knew it was one of Monkey's allies who killed Leigong

and that she was greatful for that for she hated Leigong. While they were married

Leigong had numerous affairs with other maidens and abused Leizi both

emotionally and phyisically. As a consequence she hated him. So the reason for the arrow wasn't revenge it was to see if the great Monkey King or Monkey God was

as powerful as people had claimed after all he was now a harmless Buddhist

convert wasn't he? Perhaps he had gone soft. But Monkey insisted that this could

not be further from the truth and that he would show her his incredible powers and

would not hold anything back. But Sun-Wukong knew that Leizi was no light

weight. It was known that she used flashing mirrors to send bolts of lightning

across the sky. She was also known famously as Dianmu or, 'Mother of Lightning.'

At the drop of a hat the battle began and of course Leizi used her flashing mirrors

to shoot round after round of lightning bolts at the Monkey God. Tecumseh and

Mani were shocked by the fact that Tripitaka, Pigsy and Sandy were completely

unfazed by the battle for the Shawnee and the Chinese could not even follow what

was happening both of them were moving so fast it seemed as if they were

invisible. Leizi made a minor error which enabled Monkey to appear right in front

of her but when Leizi used a kick Monkey simply grabbed her foot and threw her

downwards. Following this Leizi rotated backwards and landed on a series of soft

clouds. "Well I must say it seems the stories are true after all. You are as powerful

as they you are." Said Leizi. "You're not so bad yourself." Said Monkey. "Are you

trying to butter me up?" said Leizi. "I don't know, is it working?" said Monkey.

"Nope." Said Leizi. The fight continued but it was not clear if anyone had the upper hand. After some time the two stopped and called it a draw and the heroes

were once again off to Pig Demon City but they were not much further away from

the Metropolis in fact a new threat await their arrival.

The seven heroes reached the city but were surprised to find that the city was

nearly empty in fact one of the pig citizens had told them that the population of the

city had evacuated to the countryside because a group of five Ruffians had appeared

and caused massive destruction before leaving shortly before the seven heroes had

arrived. Monkey was almost certain that these Ruffians were the Dark Tao but he

could not wait for long. As they stood there an energy blast headed towards the Pig

Demon but Monkey grabbed the Pig at the last second saving his afterlife when he

looked up it was the five members of the Dark Tao floating above them. Monkey let

go of the pig and he ran out of the city to safety. "Well, well, well.... If it isn't my

old friend, Sun-Wukong, the Monkey King." Said Commander Tao. "Who hired you

scum this time was it Lord Zeal?!" said Monkey. "I'm not at liberty to disclose that

information Monkey." Said Commander Tao. "It was Lord Zeal who hired us." Said

Chi the Monkey. "Will shut your mouth you fucking idiot!" said Commander Tao.

"It seems that none of you have changed at all. These people didn't do anything to

you." Said Tripitaka. "Oh you're fuming with rage aren't you Monk. Well lets not

beat around the bush any longer than lets do battle. It'll be our five crushing your seven.

Lets fight!" said Commander Tao. As Commander Tao said this the five of

them leaped into battle. Yin and Yang fought the most of the warriors taking on

Leizi the Lightning Goddess, Tecumseh, and Mani on their own. While Chi the

Monkey took on both Pigsy and Sandy. Po the Mantis with the power to stop

time took over Tripitaka the Monk. And finally Commander Tao himself battled

Sun-Wukong the Monkey King. Regarding the battle between the Tiger and the

Puma Sisters known as Yin and Yang in their battle against three it began with Yin

and Yang firing blasts of concentrated negative Chi at the warriors. Tecumseh like

the Shawnee-Indian warrior that he was took out his bow and began to fire volleys

of arrows at Yin and Yang but the two cat sisters brushed no less than 200 arrows

aside with ease. Next Mani the Persian master of war leapt into battle with his

sword and began to summon the power of the Wind and asked for strength from the

Great Tao so he would be able to land a strike on either of the two sisters but the

two dodged him without even breaking a sweat and when Mani had tired himself

out Yin slapped Mani to the side where he smashed into the concrete wall of one of

the Demon Pig City's buildings forcing him to pause and catch his breath. Finally

the Lightning Goddess Leizi began to use her mirrors to shoot bolts of lighting at

Yin and Yang but they simply began to side-step every attack as if it were like

playing jump robe and Yang knocked Leizi into the side of a wall with a simple back slap.

The three realized they needed to work together if they wanted to stop

them so they began to formulate a plan. Meanwhile Pigsy and Sandy were fighting

the Monkey warrior Chi who was perhaps the fastest of all the warriors said to be

faster than the speed of light. No matter what the Pig and River demons did they

could not catch Chi off guard and the Monkey was landing blow after blow on both

of them as neither Pigsy and Sandy had not landed one attack. This continued for

some time until Pigsy and Sandy found themselves in a rut and before they knew it

they were both on the ground defeated and Chi laughed at them in a state of

victory. As Tripitaka was about to battle Po the Mantis, Po believed he had this

fight in the bag but he had no idea that Tripitaka had developed a technique that

could slow down his heartbeat so low that he would not be affected by the flow of

time. So the Monk closed his eyes and began to breathe quietly and then seemed to

not be breathing at all. "So that's your plan Monk, playing dead. Alright I'll play

along. Here it goes!" said Po the Mantis. But when Po struck he began to bleed all

over his body and screamed out in pain as Tripitaka knocked him back. Tripitaka

had won the bout with Po the Mantis. Meanwhile Commander Tao and the Monkey

King were fighting on top of the buildings themselves and causing incredible

damage to the ancient city. Blow after blow but if anything the Monkey King

seemed to be tiring and not Commander Tao. On the ground Tecumseh, Mani and Leizi had worked together to catch Yin and Yang off guard using the blinding lights

of Leizi's mirrors to temporarily blind Yin and Yang while Mani finished them off

with his sword.

Three of the warriors; Chi, Yin and Yang of the Dark Tao were now

defeated. And finally in the brought between Pigsy and Sandy and Chi. Pigsy

formulated the idea of shape-shifting into Chi which he did an ability that both him

and the Monkey King shared. And Sandy was instructed to attack both of them as

Pigsy would be fighting strategically on Chi's side at the beginning of the battle.

This worked and when Chi foolishly lost track of Pigsy, Pigsy in the form of Chi

grabbed the monkey from behind and Sandy used his devastating river blade to

defeat Chi the Monkey now four of the five had been defeated. But Commander

Tao was far stronger than any of the other members and had a secret weapon he

was ready to use. "Well Tao, all four of your men have been defeated. You want to

call off this attack. It's seven against one now you don't stand a chance for a

tyrant." Said Monkey. There was a long silence that seemed to last an eternity and

then the great Panda Demon Commander Tao began to laugh in an almost cliché

villainous manner where it started off as a chuckle and then slowly broke out into

howling laughter. "What's so funny, Tao?!" said Monkey. "Oh I just find it

humorous that you thought I didn't come here with a Plan B!" said Commander

Tao. "What are you talking about Tao?!" said Monkey. "Well a pictures worth a

thousand words so why don't I just show you what I'm talking about. Members of the notorious Dark Tao its time to become one!" said Commander Tao. The four

other members Yin, Yang, Chi and Po stood up and began to glow with a dark

purplish light and then turned into dark balls of energy that flew inside of

Commander Tao's body.

As this happened the ground began to shake. The

Commander's teeth began to sharpen and his eyes turned red his voice began to

become animalistic and boom like the rolling thunder as the sound leaves the

mountains for the fields. Commander Tao was still a Panda but he was giant and

looked to resemble more a really nasty looking Sloth with long razor sharp claws

and armor fit for a Demon King. His armor was full of characters from both the

Chinese and Japanese languages and had the Yin and Yang symbol of Taoism on

the front of his armor. Commander Tao began to speak in his new booming voice.

"Why don't you look at the new me Monkey King! Come on drink it all in. I know

it's a lot to handle. Hahahahahaha!!!!!" said Commander Tao. "This is a new low

even for you Commander Tao what did you do to your men?!" said Monkey. "I did

nothing this is a technique we've all been practicing for two centuries since you

defeated us and wounded our pride all those years ago. They're all still alive and

once you kill you and your friends we will return to our old bodies. In any event,

the fact that you would show concern for your enemies in the first place is why

you're going to lost this fight Monkey King! So I hope you've made peace with

Heaven." Said Commander Tao. "We defeated you last time we can defeat you

again. There's seven of us and one of you." Said Pigsy. "Hahaha! Weren't you fools listening all five of the Dark Tao are in one body our power level has exceeded

what should be possible you're as good as dead. Make peace with your gods now

it's the last chance you'll get." Said Commander Tao. "It is you who must make

peace and end your vile ways."

Said Tripitaka. "Shut your mouth! If I wanted to be

lectured by Monks I'd become a Taoist or a Buddhist. So I'm in no mood for your

shit Tripitaka! And I don't have to take it because all of you die here today! Its time

you felt the power of a God of Destruction! Hahaha!" said Commander Tao. "God

of Destruction?! Those have been extinct for at least 5,200 years." Said Sandy.

"Well your math is a little off because you're staring at one right now. NOW

ENOUGH TALK! IT'S TIME YOU MET YOUR FATE YOU VERMIN! IT'S TIME

TO DIE!" said Commander Tao after he said this he smashed his huge fight and

claws into the side of a building and threw it across the sky which almost hit Leizi,

Tecumseh and the Prophet Mani. Next Tripitaka tried to surprise him by sneaking

up around him but the Monk was surprised to find that even for Commander Tao's

huge size he had not sacrificed any of his speed in fact he was significantly faster

than he was before kicking Tripitaka into the other side of the great city. Pigsy and

Sandy tried to land blows with their swords but when they did the swords simply

broke and Commander Tao simply blew them away with his breath. He began to

laugh but Monkey was still left. Monkey had gotten on his flying Cloud cloud and

thought he was going to land a devastating blow to Commander Tao but instead

Commander Tao just shot a burst of white energy from his mouth that Monkey barely dodged and hit a mountain in the distance, the blast instantly turning the

mountain into dust.

The others tried to help Monkey but Commander Tao used his

dark powers to summon an army of demons who began to overpower the other six

heroes. Which left Monkey the only being who could truly challenge Commander

Tao. But Monkey was not optimistic. "This whole time over the last 200 years

while I was pursuing a path of non-violence like Master Tripitaka had instructed

me to do. This tyrant has gotten stronger. I couldn't even defeat him in his normal

form. How can I hope to defeat him now? This is bad! We're all living on borrowed

time. We need a miracle." Thought Monkey. As this continued another half an hour

went by and by this point the other six warriors had nearly been worn down by the

demon horde that Commander Tao had summoned. And Monkey was face down on

top of a building in the ruined city. All seemed to be lost and as this all occurred.

Commander Tao jubilantly proclaimed his final victory over the Monkey King.

"And so your journey ends here. Of course you wished for immortality but you

forget that only an immortal can kill another immortal. Its over for you Monkey

God. You should have never crossed me that was your biggest mistake." Said

Commander Tao. As Commander Tao was about to squash Monkey like a fly

something whisped by and the Monkey King was gone. "Huh?! What on Earth is

happening here! Where is the Monkey King?!" said Commander Tao. "You can

thank my friend for that one." Said a mysterious foreign voice. "Who is that?! Its

you the bearded swarthy man with the sword. You must be behind this. Tell me your name so I'll know the name of the man I'm about to kill." Said Commander Tao.

"My name is King Gilgamesh. Formally the famous ruler of the city of Urak and

you you terrible beast you're days of terrorizing the innocent are over." Said King

Gilgamesh. "Gilgamesh?! King Gilgamesh?! You're real I guess it shouldn't

surprise me. This is no concern of yours I'll make a deal with you if you leave now

I'll spare your life." Said Commander Tao. "No I will not leave the Monkey King is

an old friend of mine and he is currently being cared for by my old friend Enkidu."

Said Gilgamesh. Enkidu was King Gilgamesh's best friend who traveled alongside

the King during life in the great epic The Epic of Gilgamesh. Now in the afterlife

the two who were like brothers fought and traveled together for all eternity in the

afterlife. Enkidu was a man with lots of hair and the horns of a bull and King

Gilgamesh was an extremely muscular Semetic Middle Eastern man with a dark

beard and nearly perfect physical features he was a Demi-God after all. Born of a

mortal Human father and a mother who was Goddess. In the afterlife he was even

stronger than he was when he was alive and Commander Tao knew it. "Well King

Gilgamesh it seems your long journey ends here. If you want to die so badly I'll

gladly send you on your way to hell! One way, of course!" said Commander Tao.

Commander Tao tried to hit Gilgamesh but Gilgamesh moved at lighting speed and

blinded Tao but slicing his eye socket causing great pain to Commander Tao who

began to hold his face while shaking and crying out in pain. "My eyes! You bastard!

You're going to pay for this you little rat!" said Commander Tao. But after

Commander Tao had just barely gotten all his words out. He fell on his back and

King Gilgamesh began to land blow after blow making the new all-powerful

Commander Tao look no more powerful than an Imp. Finally Gilgamesh grabbed

Commander Tao by his elongated tail and threw him to the other side of the city as

Commander Tao began to shake in pain. After this he began to shrink Gilgamesh

had knocked all five of the Dark Tao out of their fused form. And stood before all

five of them. The other six heroes stood behind Gilgamesh in awe of the famous

King's incredible fighting power. "Curse you King Gilgamesh! You had no right to

take this victory away from me!" said Commander Tao. King Gilgamesh simply

stood there and plainly said to Commander Tao and the other members of his gang.

"I'll give you the same luxury you gave me. For I believe the highest code of all

men is an eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth." Said King Gilgamesh. "If you leave

now I will let all of you live. If not, you will die where you lie right now." Said King

Gilgamesh. "You don't have to twist my hand back we're all leaving but there is

something you should know." Said Commander Tao. "And what is that?" said King

Gilgamesh. "Agitha said if we failed Lord Zeal would send the Dark Triad after

you. If the rest of you thought me in my new demonic form was too much to handle

than you stand no chance against the Dark Triad. They make us look like a couple

of Jains in India too filled with Pacificism to even hurt an orange tree. You're all in for a rude awakening." Said Commander Tao. "The Dark Triad?!" said Tecumseh

worringly. "No way the Dark Triad is coming here!" said Mani. "That's right and

when you fight them I know they'll end all of your lives and I can finally be at

peace. Good luck! You're nothing more than dead men walking! Lets head-out

men!" said Commander Tao. And the other five warriors of the Dark Tao; Yin,

Yang, Chi and Po flew off into the distance behind their leader Commander Tao,

ragged and defeated. "Who is the Dark Triad?! And why are you guys so quiet all

of a sudden?" said Pigsy. "Allow me to explain," said the Prophet Mani. "The

Dark Triad is a group of three evil wizards with un-imaginable dark powers. They

were once respected holy men belong their respective religions and close friends.

They lived in Ancient China sometime between the 7

th and 9th centuries C.E. and all

they wanted was to make their country a better place.

The first was named Han he

was a Confucian Beuracrat for the Chinese Emperor and was of course a

Confucianist following the teachings of Confucius to fulfill harmony and order in

society. The second was a Buddhist Monk named Qin who devoted his life to the

teachings of the Buddha and Buddhism, and the last was a Taoist Monk named Sui

who devoted his life to the teachings of Laozi and the Taoist religion. All three were

good friends and all represented the three great teachings of China being the

ideology of Confucianism and the religions of Buddhism and Taoism. They would

often speak together and debate each other in what teachings the Chinese Emperor

should impose on the people from the teachings. They would give ideas from

Confucius, the Buddha and Lao-Tzu and other ideas of their own in order to make

Chinese society more harmonious, strong, peaceful and orderly. They would

sometimes disagree but they more often than not agreed and got a long because

despite the fact that they belonged to three different ways of thinking they were

interested above all else in securing the moral purity of the Chinese nation. Of

course these three ideas had co-existed mostly peacefully and had formed ideas off

each other in China for centuries if not over 1,000 years but these men symbolized

the trinity of the three teachings in Classical Chinese civilization. But one day

while the three were using alchemy to find a spell that could grand eternal life they

accidentally released an ancient and very old demon named Yakuu. Yakku was

banished to the deepest depths of the Underworld by four different gods but he was

able to communicate to them from that realm. He used his dark magic to feed on

the worst temptations and thoughts of the three men and persuaded the three wise

men to reject their old beliefs and love of their homeland and join him in his

crusade to overthrow the corrupt and decadent government of the Jade Emperor.

His malice began to worm his way into their brains and soon they would all reject

their beliefs and two of them even their faiths. Han openly rejected Confucianism

and gave himself to Lord Yakuu, Qin openly rejected Buddhism and accepted Yakku

as his new master and finally Sui rejected Taoism and became a disciple of Yakku.

This is why the three men despite coming from three different Chinese traditions

are often known as The Three Apostates because they rejected their old beliefs and

allowed darkness to enter there hearts. Yakku was not too different from his new

desciples he was once a Taoist Monk who wondered the Chinese countryside

helping those in need whenever he could but in his personal studies he discovered

books on the Dark Arts and was so enthralled by the Dark Arts he rejected Taoism

and the teachings of the Taoist religion. He replaced his Taoist beliefs with the teachings of the Dark Arts and gave up his huSekuty in the process, slowly

transforming into an evil demonic god that we know today as Yakku.

The Dark

Triad have worked for the last 1,000 years to bring Yakuu back from the dead as he

was sealed in the Underworld for all time for trying to overthrow the Jade Emperor

with his demonic army. The Jade Emperor cast Yakku out of heaven which is why

Yakku is sometimes referred to as Dark Lord Yakku: The Fallen One. While they

await and help in the return of their master they will often work for other tyrants

who ask them to sow chaos in the world. They do this as it is one of the teachings of

the Dark Lord Yakku; to sow chaos in this world. They are some of the strongest

fighters of the Celestial Realm they are so powerful it is said they nearly defeated

the Shinto Sun God Amaretsu (天照大神/天照大御神/天照皇大神) in a

duel which nearly resulted in the death of the Sun God. The three are so powerful

that one begins to tremble in fear just as they approach you some of the bravests

died on the spot once they confronted by these three monsters." said Mani. "Well

there not heading to kill us, they're after the Gate Keeper kid and his friends." Said

Gilgamesh. "WHAT????!!!!!" said everybody at once except for Enkidu. "I can

sense their dark energy and its not heading for us its heading towards the lands

below to the Dark Underground Caves of the Twilight Realm where this Gate

Keeper and his friends are currently headed don't worry I told that Ungar fellow

all about it. I hope its enough to prepare them. Right now according to the Warlock

they were captured by the Echidna King Rohan but they won't have to worry about

that for long. The Dark Triad will make quick work of those fools." Said King

Gilgamesh. "How do you know all this?!" said Sandy.

"I have the ability to know all of the senses and events around me for a million square miles its something I

picked up while traveleing through the lands of darkness in my futile quest for

immortality." Said King Gilgamesh. "Does Ebisu know of this?! Does he know

they're in danger." Said Tecumseh. "Its hard to say. But If I'd to guess Monkey's

friend the Wind God most likely has no idea of the danger he's in." said Enkidu.

"We're going then come on Tecumseh." Said Mani. "Right behind you!" said

Tecumseh. "We're going to ask Ebisu for aid against the Dark Triad if there's

anyone who can help us against them." Said Tecumseh. "Well you two better hurry

you're on borrowed time." Said King Gilgamesh. "Alright lets go then!" said

Mani. After this Mani and Tecumseh took off in the direction of the Wind Palace.

"As for us Monkey told me with his mind that you were headed to retrieve the

Blade of Heaven from Lord Confucius. Its lucky he called me or you all probably

wouldn't be here right now. It took a lot of courage to do what he did the Monkey I

once knew would rather die than ask for any kind of help." Said King Gilgamesh.

"The King is right. Monkey has grown so much and sometimes its easy to forget

this fact." Thought Tripitaka. "Now in order to get to the Celestial Palace we will

need to cross the great Cloud Desert on our way there we will pass into my empire

The Urak Empire. But we cannot stay for long we must hurry to meet Confucius.

Come on friends, lets go!" said King Gilgamesh and so the seven heroes,

Sun-Wukong the Monkey King, the Buddhist Monk Tripitaka, Pigsy, Sandy,

Leizi, King Gilgamesh and Enkidu traveled further north to the great Cloud Desert while Mani and Tecumseh went to warn Ebisu of the empending threat

posed by the Dark Triad. And so the adventure continued both in the skies above

and in the depths below.
