Jaxson's words seemed to snap something inside him. "You should have considered that before you successfully deceived your way into your sister's position."
"I never—" Lyra started, but Jaxson cut her off with a sharp gesture.
"She belongs in the dungeons!" Jaxson's voice rose as he began pacing like a caged wolf. "Until we determine what scheme she's really running. An Omega clever enough to trick our Alpha into marriage doesn't accidentally stumble into poison and then miraculously know the exact cure moments after receiving treatment herself. This stinks of calculated manipulation."
