I stood before the full-length mirror as three Omegas circled around me, their skilled hands making final adjustments to my formal attire. One smoothed the shoulders of my charcoal jacket while another straightened my navy tie against my chest. The third positioned the aquamarine brooch with precision, angling it until the stone caught the lamplight perfectly.
Their movements were efficient and practiced, like artists completing a familiar masterpiece. When they stepped back to assess their work, the lead Omega nodded with clear satisfaction.
"Perfect, Alpha."
I acknowledged her with a slight nod, feeling the weight of expectation already settling over me like a heavy cloak. These formal gatherings always carried the same burden.
A sharp knock interrupted my thoughts.
"Enter."
Jaxson strolled through the doorway with his usual confident air, scanning my appearance once before raising an eyebrow in mild amusement. "You requested to see me?"
