As Rudra ran to check on Vidit he seemed as desperate as my father 12 years ago when my younger brother was in his room and didn't knew what was happening outside.
My father was running to save my younger brother who was angry on me as we had a fight on why he had opened my personal diary because of whom my secrets were no longer secrets in front of my sister. So we were not talking with each other. I still regret doing that. As it was the last time I had talked to him as when dad went in the house to get him the whole building collapsed. Burying both my father and younger brother alive under it. Then we didn't even had time to give them our last greetings as we had to flee from there in order to be saved.
From there me, my mother and my sister had to walk till we reached the city center from where the rescue operation was being held. We were the last one to come. It was because of us that they had to wait which caused half of them to die as the animals had been following us.we didn't know that but I still curse myself for not knowing that.
As we moved ahead we took a metro with the rescue team. We were going good when I felt something off though the rescue team told us that every thing was alright, my heart was not convinced. I requested them to stop the train but no one listened and as I had felt the train derailed. Though no animals were seen but as we followed the tunnel. At the opening the were animals which did such a violence that out of 500 only 3 people me and other two survivors whom I didn't know were left as they followed me.
I went to find a bunker when I saw that more people were killed in the run by being crushed under people than killed by animals. This thing had broken me more than the death of my own mother, sister, brother and father.
As I had finished thinking that I was woken up by the sound of Rudra calling to the bunker which was attacked I was able to see a mix of sorrow, determination and sadness in his eyes.
This is when I saw the one who was the most strong from inside at such a time he hadn't even flinched since the call started even when a scream came and even when the bull had crushed a person's head under int foot.
