Chapter 12 - Changing The Luck Of People

Luis first looked at Angler's fortune and found that all of Angler's fortunes were low to medium, with his romantic luck being the highest, which was medium.

Luis focused his attention on Angler's good fortune and then mobilized his abilities.

Angler's fortune is low to low, and his life is not always smooth sailing; he encounters many bumps and bruises. However, he does not face any major difficulties within the next three months.

But now, his fortunes are gradually changing, and a line of small print begins to appear: "Water gets stuck in your teeth, you get hit by a car when you go out, extremely unlucky."

Good fortune can be said to be the most important of all a person's fortunes. Simply put, good fortune is a person's luck. When you are lucky, everything goes smoothly and you will make a fortune.

If you're unlucky, you might trip and fall while walking, or choke to death while eating.

Luis doesn't have the ability to change a person's overall fortune right now, but he can influence their fortune over the next three months.

After altering Angler's fortune, the tiny energy in Luis mind dimmed considerably. If it was a dim light at first, it now flickered and seemed ready to go out at any moment.

Then Luis looked at Arnold's fortune. His fortune was good, with his wealth and blessings reaching the middle level, and his romantic luck reaching the upper-middle level.

Luis originally intended to influence Arnold's fortune or luck, causing him to suffer misfortune or financial loss, but upon seeing the romantic luck, he couldn't help but be moved.

Arnold's wife is the boss's cousin. Arnold was only able to get the position of planning manager in the company because the boss gave him face. He is very afraid of his wife.

Focusing on Arnold's financial luck, Luis immediately realized that he had recently had relationships with several women and had been ambiguous with them.

With a sudden thought, a line of small characters appeared on Arnold's list of romantic opportunities.

A man's romantic luck can make him feel proud and successful, but a woman's romantic troubles can also cause him great harm.

Arnold is very good at hiding his affairs and his wife has never found out. But after Luis influence, his wife will soon find out, and then there will be a good show to watch.

After affecting the fortunes of the two people, the energy in his minds had completely dimmed. Even Luis himself felt as if he hadn't slept for three days and three nights, and he suddenly became unsteady on his feet and was about to fall down.

Natalie, who had been observing Luis from the side, quickly reached out to support him and prevent him from falling.

Natalie, who was supporting Luis, was shocked. She had just felt the air around her move slightly, and then Luis turned pale and broke out in a cold sweat.

She didn't even feel his arm pressed tightly against her chest.

"Luis, what's wrong?" Natalie asked anxiously, hugging Luis.

"I'm fine, just a little tired." It's quite difficult for two people's fortunes to be affected at once. If it weren't for his strong belief, Luis would have already fainted by now.

Arnold's luck was relatively good, reaching the medium level, which meant he had to expend more energy. Luis now understood that the stronger a person's luck, the higher the price they had to pay. Fortunately, Arnold's luck was only medium; if it had been higher, Luis might have lost half his life.

"Look." Arnold won't be in any immediate trouble, but Angler, whose luck has been affected, is about to run into trouble.

Luis gestured for Natalie to keep an eye on them.

Just then, Angler, who was about to go down the steps, somehow lost his footing. Perhaps because he was carrying a lot of things he had taken from the company, he couldn't see the steps and fell down the steps with a thud.

"Ouch!" Things were scattered all over the ground, and Angler lay sprawled on the ground. Arnold quickly went over to help him up.

But perhaps his wound was touched, for his legs gave way as he stood up, and he fell to his knees again with a thud.

"Ouch! That hurts!" Angler's face turned pale instantly.

"How could you be so careless?" Arnold complained. At this moment, people coming and going nearby were watching them, especially some pretty girls who were almost laughing out loud.

Arnold blushed, feeling that Angler was truly shameful; at his age, he could still trip and fall while walking.

He quickly helped him up and they were about to leave, abandoning all the things they had left behind.

Angler leaned against Arnold. His knees were killing him, and he couldn't put any weight on them. He limped along, leaning on Arnold for support.

But before he could take two steps, Angler accidentally hooked his left foot on his right foot, lost his balance, and fell forward.

Arnold was shorter than Angler, and Angler's weight was all on him. In addition, Angler would instinctively grab the person next to him if he was about to fall.

So, along with Arnold, the two of them fell flat on their faces!

"Why the hell are you pulling me down! Damn it."

He fell heavily to the ground, falling down three times in a row, and the people around him were laughing so hard they could barely stand.

Arnold wanted to just leave this idiot there and ignore him; it was too damn embarrassing for someone in his fifties to fall three times in a row.

"I don't know either," Anlger said with a mournful face, not understanding what was wrong with him.

"Brother Arnold, please take me to the hospital. I feel like I've broken a bone."

"Nonsense, if your bones are broken you won't be able to get up. Hurry up, I'll take you to the hospital." He helped Angler up again. This time, the two walked slowly, taking each step steadily, and they didn't fall again.

But as they rounded a corner, a car that had been parked on the side of the road suddenly rolled backward, banging the two of them down again.

"Holy shit!"

The two were going crazy. Why was everything working against them? There was no one in the car, and the road was smooth. Even if the handbrake wasn't engaged, it wouldn't roll backward. But it did, and it did roll backward right when they were passing by.

Natalie watched everything until they stumbled and disappeared from sight, then looked at Luis with shock and horror.

"You did this?" She couldn't believe that someone could do this so silently.

Luis smiled weakly, neither refuting nor answering, but this only made her more certain.

"Mrs. Natalie, I'm too weak right now. Could you take me home?" Luis really felt like he couldn't walk anymore.

"Okay." Natalie did not refuse and helped Luis into her car. After getting in the car, Natalie was about to ask Luis for the address, but Luis had already fallen asleep.

Looking at Luis sleeping in the back seat, Natalie had a complex expression, a mixture of fear, apprehension, curiosity, and gratitude.

After calming herself down, Natalie didn't wake Luis and drove straight home.

Luis didn't know how long he had slept. After affecting Angler and Arnold's recent fortunes, he was basically exhausted and close to unconsciousness. If he hadn't wanted to know what would happen after affecting Angler's luck, he probably would have already passed out.

After seeing the results, he relaxed with satisfaction and fell asleep as soon as he got into the car with Natalie.
