"Excuse me one moment Don, but I'd like to speak with you," Riley said.
The dumbfounded looks of the bodyguards and staff showed that this request was highly unusual. The Don took down the newspaper he was holding and frowned.
"Actually," He started "I'd like to talk to you…Miss Riley Knox,"
Riley froze at the sound of her name. Of course he would eventually get her name, weren't Barry and John there? Those backstabbing backstabbers! No wonder Mr Marcello said he didn't trust them.
"Let's start with the gap in your resume. I'm really particular about the people who take care of my great-granddaughter,"
It took a while before Riley answered in a low voice "I answer only to who hired me,"
Her roommate had told her that she was lucky to have not been hired by the Don. She was ready to use that privilege to the maximum.
"Bold," He nodded and picked up the newspaper he had been holding before "But you know fully well I can get the information I want anyway,"
