Chapter 132 - Chapter 132: Urd Has Arrived

In the consciousness space, Yuichiro snapped his eyes open.

He sat up and checked himself, looking somewhat confused.

"I remember..."

"Stop looking, you're dying."

Yuichiro looked up and saw onikiri sitting cross-legged not far away, looking displeased.

"How did I get stuck with you? What a nightmare!"

Yuichiro stood up and walked over to onikiri.

"onikiri, can't you help me recover either?"

onikiri said helplessly.

"That guy was ruthless. With the injury on your back, Demonic Aura can only barely keep you alive."

Yuichiro's face fell, looking like a gloomy puppy.

Just then, a ripple appeared in the consciousness space. Yuichiro turned his head and saw a horn in the distance, glowing with light, tugging at his nerves.

Yuichiro involuntarily started walking toward the horn.

"That's right, that thing... it should be able to save me..."

A large purple hand suddenly grabbed him and pulled him back in front of onikiri.

onikiri stood up with a serious expression and warned him.

"In your current state, the power of the Seraph can indeed save you, but your body will no longer be human, and the Seraph's will will be extremely difficult to suppress."

Yuichiro didn't think much about it.

"But staying a vegetable forever isn't an option either, is it?"

The giant hand released Yuichiro. onikiri had explained everything clearly; whatever decision Yuichiro made, he would no longer interfere... Luke and Krul were pursuing Rig.

Rig darted through the forest, his chains occasionally harassing the two to slow them down.

Luke felt like he was playing Tiantian Kupao, with the boss constantly creating obstacles for him.

Luke shouted.

"Rig, stop running! Let's talk about the distribution of the sin keys. Let's play rock-paper-scissors; if I win, you give me the last one you have."

Luke had already sent Kyle to pick up the four scattered sin keys; they shouldn't have flown too far.

Rig was speechless upon hearing this, but he didn't slow down and eventually managed to escape.

"As expected of a Second Progenitor, he sure runs fast."

Luke grumbled and started walking back with Krul.

On the way, the magic sword flew back, with a bag hanging from its hilt containing the four sin keys.

Krul couldn't help but remark.

"You're almost using your sword as a treasure-hunting tool."

Luke gave a carefree smile.

"Actually, Alucard could be used like this too."

The little wings on Krul's skirt fluttered on their own, seemingly expressing dissatisfaction.

Back at the site of the recent battle, the area was a mess, but aside from the corpses of the Hyakuya Sect members on the ground, no one was there.

Krul teased with a smile.

"Luke, your subordinates have been spirited away again~"

Luke shrugged and said indifferently.

"It wouldn't be normal if they didn't run."

On the other side, Shihō Kimizuki was trying to find a way out of the iron cage.

Just then, Mirai Kimizuki suddenly made a sound.

"Brother..."

Shihō Kimizuki was taken aback, then quickly turned around to see Mirai Kimizuki sitting up and rubbing her eyes.

"Mirai!"

Shihō Kimizuki excitedly ran to Mirai's side and hugged her, his eyes moistening; he couldn't remember how long it had been since he last saw her looking healthy.

Ever since Mirai Kimizuki began being experimented on by the Imperial Demon Army, she had been in a coma; her last memories were of when she first entered the Imperial Demon Army hospital.

After a long time, Shihō Kimizuki let go of Mirai.

"Brother is a crybaby."

Shihō Kimizuki turned his face away and said stubbornly.

"I am not!"

Mirai Kimizuki smiled and looked around.

"Where is this?"

Shihō Kimizuki didn't know whether he should tell his sister about the current situation and fell into a dilemma.

"Ah! Where did this sword come from?"

Mirai Kimizuki suddenly noticed a sword in her hand and instinctively let go, dropping it.

Shihō Kimizuki's expression changed.

"Don't..."

Unfortunately, the sword had already left her hand. Shihō Kimizuki still remembered Luke's warning that Mirai could not let go of the sword for the time being.

Mirai Kimizuki looked at the panicked Shihō Kimizuki, tilting her head with a confused expression on her small face.

"What's wrong, Brother?"

Seeing that Mirai was perfectly fine, Shihō Kimizuki quickly asked.

"Mirai, do you feel unwell? Any chest tightness, shortness of breath, or rapid breathing?"

Mirai Kimizuki closed her eyes to feel carefully, then opened them and nodded earnestly.

"Yes!"

Shihō Kimizuki immediately became tense.

"Brother, I'm hungry!"

Shihō Kimizuki:?

Only then did Shihō Kimizuki realize that Luke was just scaring him!

"That white-haired bastard!"

Since there were no Vampires on guard, he used the sharpness of mahiru no yoru to cut straight through the cage.

Shihō Kimizuki left with Mirai and Ghost Box King.

The battle was declared a victory. The Imperial Demon Army was nearly annihilated, and with the Seraph not appearing, the Hyakuya Sect would likely stay quiet for a while—though the possibility of Rig launching a counterattack on Sanguinem could not be ruled out.

The main Vampire force returned to Sanguinem.

Luke didn't care that the Shinoa Squad had escaped; he had already marked them and could locate them once he got close.

On the contrary, with other Progenitors about to arrive, staying in Sanguinem would be much more dangerous.

A few weeks later.

During this time, Luke still hadn't found any trace of Byakuya Akane and could only assume she had died during the experiments.

Luke also realized the emotional coldness that came with becoming a Vampire; his grief for his childhood friend, whose fate was unknown, wasn't particularly intense.

However, his eccentric personality remained unchanged.

"My lords, Lord Urd, Lord Lest Karr, and Lord Guren are about to arrive at the harbor."

A Vampire ran over to inform them.

Luke took the book off his face and patted Krul.

"Isn't it about time you got off me?"

Krul sat up; she had accidentally fallen asleep lying on Luke's lap.

Luke and Krul reached the harbor just as Urd and the other two were disembarking from the ship.

Upon seeing Krul, Lest Karr couldn't help but speak up.

"You're so slow, Krul. Can't you even handle a simple thing like a greeting?"

Krul had no interest in bickering with him; it was beneath her!

Krul bowed to Urd.

"Lord Urd."

Luke also made a show of wanting to offer his greetings.

Just as Luke leaned forward, he felt a figure rapidly approaching.

Luke retreated.

Lest Karr slammed into the spot where he had just been standing, his expression fierce.

"Trash, I told you, don't show your face in front of me, or I'll kill you!"

With that, Lest Karr charged again.

Luke didn't fight back, dodging Lest Karr's attacks time and again.

Lest Karr said disdainfully.

"Just as you said before, you're nothing but a coward who only knows how to hide!"

Luke nodded noncommittally without saying a word.

Guren watched from the side, eager to join in.

"Mr. Luke is really fast! I really want to fight him!"

Krul was a bit annoyed seeing Lest Karr go after Luke as soon as he arrived.

At the same time, she was dissatisfied that Luke was only dodging.

At that moment, Urd moved.

In the blink of an eye, he was between Luke and Lest Karr.

He struck out twice; Lest Karr hurriedly blocked and stumbled back a few steps.

Luke, however, still managed to dodge.

Urd was somewhat surprised that Luke could react, even though he hadn't used his full strength.

"Let's head back first, then we'll discuss the matter of the Progenitor."

Urd was a man of few words.

Luke made a face at Lest Karr.

Lest Karr clenched his fists but didn't dare to strike again.

Luke returned to Krul's side, only for her to glare at him and ignore him.
