Xicor held Lilith against the wall by the side of her head with one of her eyes glaring daggers at his mask. She attempted to free herself but Xicor's fist struck her stomach with ratio causing her cough out a breath.
As he was about to continue he let go of Lilith and clapped his hands as he was replaced by a piece of rock. Numi's energy tendril swiped through the air under the rock barely missing Lilith.
Numi frantically looked around for Xicor before finding him standing on top of a ledge looking down on the chief and member of the demon defence force.
Currently Ryu is unavailable as he was damaged to point he was forced to be de-summoned and will be available again within 6 hours.
But even when he is available, Xicor would only use him for surprise attacks and diversions. Ryu is not one for effective combat given its size and form as well as having the ability.
But with the ten shadows technique, his arsenal of 'helpers' has increased. The first is Divine dog, 2 black and white wolfs with a marking on their forehead. Both dogs can track curses and notify their master but in the case where curses are no where to be seen, Xicor would be using them as sneak attacks, tracking down specific targets.
these are the only ones that are not needed to tamed when someone gains this technique a whereas the others are.
The second is Nue, a large red owl with a mask, this shikigami can produce purple electricity from its feathers and armed with amazing speed. Once someone is hit by its electrical attacks, the targets become temporarily paralysed, its wings can also shield their master from harm.
The third is Toad, as the name suggests, is a frog shikigami that can support their masters using its long tongue to pull them away from harm to throwing opponents away, its large size is capable of carrying a person in its mouth as well as restrain them there.
The fourth is Great Serpent, this shikigami is in the form of a large snake that can quickly attack and ensnare its target. It attacks from the shadows using its large mouth to immobilise targets, making it effective for surprise attacks
The fifth is Max Elephant, this shikigami is in the form of a large pink elephant that can spew large volumes of water from its trunk as well as crush opponents with its large size.
The sixth is rabbit escape, this shikigami is in form of a swarm of rabbits that can be served as a distraction for the user, though these rabbits are merely clones from the real one which has a marking closely resembling the one on divine dog on its forehead, if that is killed then all are.
The seventh is round deer, this Shikigami is in form of a towering deer with an extra pair of eyes on top of its head, its ability is to heal allies by using rct, classifying it as support type of shikigami.
The eighth is Piercing Ox, this shikigami is in the form of a black ox with a talisman between its horns. It can on move in a straight line, but the longer it charges, the more powerful it becomes.
The ninth is Tiger funeral, this shikigami's appearance and abilities and unknown for now.
And finally the last one is the divine general, Mahoraga, this shikigami is most powerful of them all as it has the ability to adapt to any and all phenomenon as well as wielding the sword of extermination, a blade in its wrist that is passively infused with positive energy.
There are only three people in history that has successfully beaten this shikigami, practically calling it a judge for the title of the strongest.

Back to battle, Xicor continued to stare down at the two women, Numi standing strong with her energy tendrils waving behind her and Lilith standing back up with a purple aura surrounding her hands.
Behind a rock, not too from is Nino peeking from her behind, staying hidden from Xicor but is still unaware he knows where she is.
Xicor's body blurred from the girls vision before appearing in front of Lilith and thrusting his fist at her, coated in cursed energy.
Lilith quickly raised her arms to block the attack as it pushed her back. Numi jumped away and spun around before driving her tendrils towards Xicor.
He responded by throwing a rock in the sky and clapping his hands before he was replaced by the piece of rock he threw. Numi instinctively moved away from her previous spot as Xicor came crashing down from the sky before he clapped his hands again as numerous boulders crashed down on his spot.
As Xicor appeared in a different spot his body was enveloped by a purple aura, restraining his movements, before being thrown into the sky.
Xicor attempted to twist his body around but he didn't get the opportunity to as Numi leaped up towards him before hammering her tendrils into him as he was plummeted down in the ground.
Smoke covered his position, although he couldn't see them but can sense them as he put his hands together, "slicing exorcism" he muttered under his breath but blood didn't escape his boy but it was answered through the wind.
The multiple orbs of blood that were shot out in the carnage of volcanic eruptions at Lilith answered their masters call by blitzing through rock and air, towards the two women.
Nino spotted one of the making their way to her comrades as she called out in panic, "watch out!"
The early warning alerted them of the danger as the moved around to avoid them but they kept tracking them.
Lilith attempted to stop them by erecting a wall of stone around her but it was futile as the blood pierced through the rock and strike Lilith in multiple areas but not life threatening.
Numi kept running while occasionally defecting some of the blood attacks with her energy tendrils before all of them were gone.
Xicor remained where he was watching all this but his mind wasn't on the battle but himself. He looked down at his hand as he opened and closed it, 'my reserves are getting low due to cost of the domain expansion'

He appeared near Numi as he rushed forward and clasp the back of her head before smashing her face into a wall as her body went limp.
Xicor violently threw her back to the ground but as she was about fall down, Xicor plummeted his fist into her stomach immediately waking her back from consciousness.
Xicor was about to continue but he twist his body around and raise his arms to block a fist covered in rock.
The strike pushed him back and away from the woman. He lowered his arms to view who struck him to reveal Lilith with rock armour covering most of her body, her finger tip are sharpened like blades.
Xicor picked up two rocks and threw them at either side of her before clapping his hands, Lilith had to choose one of them quickly with a 50/50 chance of getting it correctly.
She chose the one on her left and she chose correctly as Xicor appear but Lilith fist smashed against his stomach and launch him away through a rock wall.
He held his stomach as he staggered up, his breathing notably quick, 'I've already done what I came for and have given them the impression of someone who should be dealt with, not to mention that I've risen the template higher' he thought before he smirked behind his mask.
'Though before I leave, I better pay their healer a visit'
With that thought in mind, Xicor clapped his hands as he swapped with a rock far behind the two women but close to their healer.
Nino heard the sound of a clap behind her as she spun her head behind her and spotted Xicor's figure. Eyes wide with fear as her body shook before she slowly stepped away from him, the suffocating air around him makes it difficult to even breathe.
Numi and Lilith feeling the suffocating air behind them, sharply turned to see Nino trying to step away from Xicor but he was stepping closer and closer until he grasped her neck and lifted her up.
As she attempted to free herself from his grip she looked into his gleaming red eyes through the mask. Anger, vengeance, sadistic joy and a small amount of grievance was all she could see behind them.
Lilith reached them first as she rushed forward to knock Xicor away but he let go of Nino before quickly clapping his hands and disappear.
Lilith looked around frantically for him but he was nowhere to be seen, Numi go them next as she to looked around for the target but nothing came into view.
They remained there for a few minutes waiting, watching, listening for any sign of Xicor but nothing happened he was gone.
All three sighed a breath of relief as all of them slumped to their knees with their shoulders relaxed. Lilith's stone armour slowly crumbled away as her breathing was quick from exhaustion.
"W-W-What was...T-That" she breath out with difficulty.
No one said a thing, silently processing what they were fighting, "i-it couldn't have been h-human" Nino said, sweat covering her forehead, "I-It had.... Multiple a-abilities"
Lilith stared at the ground for a good while before closing her eyes and controlling her breathing. She steeled her expression and turned to Nino, call for a pick up immediately to our location.
Nino nodded without question and got to it as Numi slumped on the ground. Lilith stared off in the distance, replaying her battle with whatever that thing was.
'What sort of monster did Mato even create'
With Xicor he was silent resting in a meditative position, waiting for someone to pick him up. While he waited, he browsed through his system.

'I should put my progress towards the cloning technique as if it reaches 100% I could infuse one of my clones with a technique' he nodded to himself before shifting to a different technique.
'I'll progress ten shadows in private in training as if I lose that shikigami they are gone forever and if I lose all of them, it will be an empty technique'
He continued to wait for someone to arrive, while he waited he continued his control over his cursed energy before a his shadow expanded and Shikoku slowly emerged.
"Well~ you seem to be in a good mood~" she said with a playful smirk.
"That's because I am, I just used something to reach new heights of strength" he said, referring to his domain expansion.
Before he could get up and travel back with Shikoku, she suddenly sat down on his lap sideways before resting the side of her head on his shoulder while looking up at him.
"What's with this? Not that I'm complaining" Xicor said as he wrapped a hand around her waist to support her.
"What, can't a goddess choose her seat~?" She questioned with a playful glint in her eyes.
"Fair enough" he conceded as silence took over but Shikoku's eyes never left him.
"You're unique you know that" she said breaking the comfortable silence.
"How so?" He asked.
She covered her mouth as a giggle escaped it, "I mean it in a good way, you managed to do something no mortal nor human could ever do"
Xicor raised a brow at her, "and what that might be?"
Her smile widened, "conquering my heart of course"
Before Xicor could respond his lips were covered by Shikoku's own lips. Xicor's eyes remained open for a few seconds before slowly closing them and responding to it.
He wrapped his other arm around her as Shikoku wrapped her arms around his neck and shifting her position to where she is fully facing him, deepening the kiss.
They remained like that for several minutes before they both pulled back, catching their breath as Shikoku rested her face in Xicor's neck.
"Now look what you did, you made not one but two goddesses obsessed with you" she whispered in his ear as he felt a tingle do down his spine.
Xicor blinked a little before deeply thinking, only one person comes to mind when it came to goddesses and the time he spent with them.

She let out a soft chuckle at his reaction before they remained where they are, basking in each other's warmth.
